Bakura and Atem looked mildly confused at the mention of 'silverwear', but chose to ignore it. Atem purposefully had the sleeve of the red jacket drag in some honey. Bakura scowled, and grumpily stared at his own plate. "I only have to eat properly during a banquet."

Both ember and rei just rolled there eyes.
"you think they would atleast invent napkins.." rei said.

"What is that stuff you're talking about?" Bakura questioned, seeing that the pharaoh wouldn't and he wanted to know.

Rei answered bakura"nakpins are clean pieces of cloth or square paper thst use useto whipe your hands on while eating.Silverwere are these things made to make eating neater..."
Ember ignored them and continued eating.

"Is it made out of silver?" Bakura asked, wondering why someone would waste something like silver to make eating easier. "Gold would be a better choice." In this time, gold was worth less than silver, because silver was rarer.

"Well they can be made out of lots of things.wood..I've mostly seen stainless steel...but yea they have silver and gold..." rei said.
"Not many people would have silver or gold silverware....I think kira did....but she had silver everything...She says gold looks tacky..."

Atem glanced up, catching Bakura's eye. Bakura shrugged, and the pharaoh laughed a little. Bakura smirked but ignored the giggling goon at the end of the table. "So... this modern world of yours. Sounds odd. And when I say odd, I mean ******** up."

Ember laughed "no kidding."
"there are some things I like...modern medcine...video games...guns.." rei listed off.
Ember raised an eyebrow at the mention of guns "your crazy..."
Rei shruged "so?"

Bakura and Atem seemed to realize that they probably weren't going to understand much else those two were saying, and just sat in silence, eating their food with identical confused expressions.

Rei smiled softly and gently kissed bakura on the cheak "Im sorry for confusing ya hun." she said lovling. She was probaly pissing atem off. She dident care. Bakura was her fionce.She could love him all she wanted.

Ember chuckled "Not me.I studyed egypt in high school."

"I'm with you there." Ryou piped in, in agreement with Rei. "But my dad was an archaeologist in Egypt, so I kinda know stuff that he told me and books he had..." "I can't even read..." Bakura muttered. He had been born a lowly person, plus the whole slaughter of his village, ensured that he was hardly schooled. Atem snickered at the thief. "I've received full schooling, obviously."

Khalid hesitated a moment or two, looking up. The town in which Kira and Ryou had been staying at was right in front of the palace; he could already see dark clouds gathering overhead the palace. It was time. Lifting the hood on his robes, he went to the old woman's house where Kira was, going inside without knocking. He was cutting it close enough as it was; there was no need to pause with unnecessary things like that. "My priests should not be used for your own person purposes like that, I'll have you know." Atem said with a frown, crossing his arms over his chest. "But still, it is a good thing that someone who is staying at the palace knows how to read. As long as you aren't a servant." Bakura tensed, pulling away from Rei with a somewhat nervous look on his face. He had been a little edgy with hugging and kissing, but it wasn't really his fault.
