Lisa and Hartley grabbed Wallace and dragged him away from the front door.
"You idiot! Get back here! OH. MY. GOD."
Lisa harangued him with a constant stream of angry insults as Hartley put hands on his shoulders and pulled him back towards the emergency exit in the back.
"You're in shock, Wallace. Come on. We need to get out of here."
The Rogues held the door open and the seven of them snuck out as Cassie provided the perfect distraction in the front.

*A shotgun blast echoed in the bar. Zinda and Sarah stood on the bar and Zinda glared at the students.*
LISTEN UP! We didn't pull your bacon out of the fire so you could throw your lives away. Teleporters...here's a map of an abandoned Blackhawk airbase on the edge of Midvale. Start taking the younger kids there now. GET MOVING!
*Zinda and Office Pezzini moved outside to confront the teachers.*

Teddy had been cast adrift in the confusion. His boyfriend had gone off with the magic users, and his other friends had spread out. He saw occasional blips of them, but the one who caught his eye and held it was Wallace. Wallace whose powers consisted of making people adore him simply by existing. He wasn't super strong, and he wasn't magical. He was a good listener, and he was funny. Plus, he was a pretty good kisser. Most of all, he was Teddy's friend, and friends didn't let friends do dumb s**t.
He ran to the door, grasping Wallace by his upper arms and pulling him away from the door. He shook him, his own anger perhaps getting the better of him. "What the hell are you doing? Getting yourself killed? How the ******** is that going to help anyone? Do you even think?"
His voice was getting louder, and he wished he could stop, but he was so angry...just so angry that Wallace would do something like this. "You're too smart to pull a stunt like this. You have parents who love you, friends who love you, and Hartley...who...likes you a lot. How could you leave them behind?" He gave him a final shake before pulling him in for a tight hug.
"Sorry," he said, quieter, "I just...I care."

*Chris pulled Wally and Karen aside.*
You two are faster than just about everyone. Wally, do you think you can lead Karen to where Achilles is and get him to this base? I'm sure Mr. Allen will be out there so, Karen, you'll need to help protect Wally. Remember...he's just as fast as you.

It all happened at once, the joint tug of Hartley and Lisa, and the immediate grab of Teddy. He had been in the hands of the rogues, and before he knew it, he was being shaken by his roommate. He let Teddy's anger wash over him, and it was comforting. Someone cared about him, and they laid it out plain as day. He could feel it with each shake, and when Teddy hugged him, that felt best of all. And finally, he could release. Burying his face in Teddy's chest, he began to cry.

"Awww...shhhhh...shhhh I'm sorry I -- I didn't mean to make y---" Teddy just stopped, catching his words to save for later. He held his roomie close, burying his face in his hair and letting him cry. It was the least he could do after snarking at him like that.

Wally nodded at Chris, and he and Karen took off, to where Achilles stood. With Cassie taking the attention of all the teachers, it appeared Achilles was alone.
Wally and Karen approached with caution...

As for Cassie she was tired and panting... Diana just smiled at her. Clearly Diana had the upper hand, she was stronger, smarter, and far more experianced then Cassie.
" Cassandra... Professor Allen says you walked out on your finals."
" This isn't you Diana..."
" All students need to take their finals."
Diana used Cassie own lasso against her tying her up with it. Meanwhile Professor Allen easily took care of Bobby Drake and Ms. Frost took down Kori. Cassie struggled as Diana was strangling her.

Billy looked around...
"Teddy? Teddy!"
"Not now kiddo!" Jennifer said as she grabbed the map and she hurried over to where the other mage kids were. "We have to evacuate the little ones and pronto!"
"Teddy! Over here!"
On the way over to the meeting place, Billy looked up and saw Cassie's struggle with Diana in her own lasso.
"Oh crap...let this work..."
Billy pointed both hands up at the melee and a blue surge of energy struck the battle and when the light faded, Cassie was gone from Diana's grip and she reappeared beside Billy.
"Wow...it actually worked!"

Chris watched as Cassie began to choke. Rage welled up inside of him. A burst of heat shot from his eyes in Diana's direction.

Teddy looked up at the sound of his voice, then motioned to Wallace. He couldn't right now...he was holding..where was Hartley anyway? He looked to the redhead at the back door, biting down on his lip and motioning to Wallace in his arms. Could he take him, please?
After passing Wallace off to Hartley, he ran over to where Billy was."Babe?"

*Chris was no match for Professor Prince. Good thing he didn't need to be.*
Donnie, Clark....a hand.
*Clark sped across the lawn and snatched up Kori and Bobby before Frost could blink. Allen was fast enough to try and stop him but one smack and the speedster was sent flying.*
YO! PROFESSOR PRINCE!
*Diana glared at Chris while continuing to strangle Cassie.*
INCOMING!
*Donnie had become Thor and his hammer blasted Diana away from Cassie. Chris ran to her.*
C'mon. We gotta go! Zinda's and Office Petri-
*WHANG! A spinning shield smacked Chris in the chest and Steve Rogers caught it on the rebound.*
