Well every time you get a 28 streak in super singles you can get a free rare candy...

Edit: Oh Hello there Captain Artzy

1 candy for 28 wins? neutral
Dammit. xd

Are they as rough as they were in the older versions? My SS I could only make it to round 84 before that damned Rapidash... stare

Edit: Sup LA.

Well if you got a team to 84 you'll probably have better luck than I'm haveing but yes they are tough
PostPosted: Thu Mar 24, 2011 11:31 am

84 rounds of pure bullshit. neutral
I'm really not up for that again. sweatdrop
I'll do it for the BP so I can buy the TM's and the EV training items. But nothing more then that...
That star or what ever we get, I may never get that to be honest. crying

Actually for the star in B/W you just need to get a 50 Streak in Super Singles and Super Doubles, which I think is a little easier than 100...
PostPosted: Thu Mar 24, 2011 11:35 am

50! I think I can do this! eek

What pokes did you use in SS?
PostPosted: Thu Mar 24, 2011 11:46 am

Garchomp, Kingdra and Metagross.

if their 1st poke was easily handled, I'd swords dance once twice at most and it basically swept everything on its own. 3nodding
Earthquake, outrage, fire fang? I think it was fire fang not sure.

Kingdra had surf/dragon pulse/flash cannon/ice beam

metagross was just all around good. 3nodding zen headbutt/explosion/bullet punch and iron head.

I made it far with these...shame that a*****e rapidash landed 2 horn drills back to back, and also 1hko my metagross with a flamethrower. stare

Hello Kiyo, Doing any Fishing? :]

~Hey Jerz, nice avi ;3
PostPosted: Thu Mar 24, 2011 11:49 am

As for items, not sure. I think Chomp had a Yacht berry? the 1 that lowers damage from ice.
Kingdra should of had the belt thing that increases slightly special attacks.
and metagross had left overs I think.

I didnt really look at any guides on how to approach the battle tower, I chose some pokes I liked and put on items i thought would work out.
These move sets they have are ones I made up aswell.
All 3 of them EV trained, in either ATK and SPD or SPC ATK and SPD.
chomp was jolly, kingdra modest and metagross i believe adament?

Edit: Thanks LA. It's my Youko Kurama cosplay. biggrin

Nah I haven't done much fishing, 1 cuase the last time I checked people aren't sure what got the angelic rod and 2 B/W came out so I've been playing it for over 100 hours now sweatdrop

@Jerz WOW, and Thanks for the info.

When I 1st tried battle tower, I made it to lvl 24? With Skarmory/Flygon/Kingdra
Skarmory set up spikes/stealth rock and roar'd away as long as it could. Then I got rid of these and shoved in Metagross to take up for Skarmory and Garchomp for Flygon. 3nodding

You could try LF's approach to the battle tower. I believe he had Ninjask baton pass 1 or 2 swords dance to his garchomp. And with the added speed. That basically made his Chomp hard to stop. Not sure on the 3rd Poke, I want to say Eelectivire? Not sure to be honest. But he did say that he's beaten the Battle tower with that baton pass set up. 3nodding

Jerz - Ah, Kurama, he was my fav. When that show came out

Kiyo - I heard (that it was confirmed??) that you need 75k+ buckets
fished to get the Angelic Rod.
But it could be more, less. idk.. I just heard it was amounts of buckets you
have, not the score.

How is Black/White anyway? .. I didn't buy it, doesn't look good.
