Rei helped bakura sit up "relax...." she said ingoring the pain in her fingers.

Bakura closed his eyes quietly, leaning against the wall and trying to catch his breath. The door opened and Seto entered, going over to the pharaoh and informing him that the meal was ready.

"C'mon, help me up..." Bakura muttered, opening his eyes slowly.

"Alright" rei said gently hulping him to his feet. She hung onto his so he wouldent fall over.

Making his way carefully to the table, Bakura sat down just as the servants were bringing in the food, which consisted of some form of roast meat, a platter of fruits, bread, vegetables and whatnot.

Ryou was hesitant to get anything; he wasn't sure if he could trust any of this food. He picked out an apple and nibbled on it quietly. Bakura glanced over at Rei, and waited for the pharaoh to do something before he touched any of the food. No way in hell was he going to eat anything before he saw someone else do the same.

Ember who was used to eating here took some of the meat and bread and started eating. They had no silverware so they just ate with there fingers. Ember could care less.
Rei who was thinking the same thing looked to the pharoh waiting for him to eat somthing.

The pharaoh served himself a serving of food, adding honey to it to help sweeten it. Bakura was cautious still, but then got food for himself as he watched the pharaoh eat.

Rei after a moment served herself as well. She tasted it slowly. it seemed ok. She noticed the pharoh and that girl wasent croaking yet so the food had to be ok. She was thankful for that because she was starving!

There was an awkward silence over the table. Ryou seemed to be thinking about something else as he quietly nibbled on his fruit, probably Kira; Bakura was busy glaring at the pharaoh and eating his food carefully; and Atem seemed completely absorbed with eating his food.

Ember who could care less about the silence continued to eat her food.
Rei who was becoming slightly annoyed by the silent consintarted on her food.

"Bakura, I love you." Atem said randomly, looking over at the thief, who just glared in return.
"I want my jacket back. You're getting it dirty. Look, there's already something on the sleeve." Bakura merely responded.

Ember roled her eyes "I dont think anybody here has even heard of table manners. Hell silverwere hasent even been invented yet!"
