Kia, not seeing Mari in the library decided to check the audience chamber.. its possible she got cornered in there.

Nick looked up and muttered in a fractured sentence, "Not tired just...hurt...tranquil...quiet." he smiled before looking at the floor again.

Marienara stood up and walked to the door.
"Your Grace! I wasn't finished."
"I have heard enough of your complaints. You keep saying the same things over and over. It is the duty of nobility to serve, not to be served, you cannot expect the commoners to worship you. You are not a god."
"But I..."
"Enough!" Marienara made a cutting motion with her hand out of frustration. The sidhe tried to talk, but couldn't. "I have had enough of you. There are more important matters that need my attention, and they need them immediately. When you hold the amount of responsibility I do, squire, then you may complain that you don't receive enough respect. You should be glad that I saw you at all, most in my position would just ignore your requests." She left the surprised sidhe, who regained her voice almost immediately, and began to look for where it was coming from. It was in her home, and she would not allow it.

Kia heard this last bit and chuckled to herself She is in a fine mood
"I take it you've been busy all day with them?"

Marienara closed her eyes and followed her feelings. They were leading her to the kitchen. She kept her eyes closed, so nearly ran into some people, but somehow, they always managed to move out of her way just in time. To everyone but Kiashadra, it seemed as if she was invisible.

Loki was in a nearby hall when he heard Marienara and Kiashadra talking about something clearly important so he flattened himself against the wall to listen when they started moving he followed as quietly as possible even though he lost sight of Marienara he followed Kia.

Loki noticed Kia loosen here sword from it's sheath he slowly moved his hands to an axe not sure what was going to happen, but didn't want to be caught off guard either way.

Marienara whirled around and caught Nick by the throat. He still saw nothing, but was now held in the air against the wall. Pain filled his body and he (gonna meta here for a bit 'cause no matter how strong and resistant to pain he is this would happen) screamed. As he did so, black smoke came out of his mouth and gathered in a cloud. When it had all exited his body, the pain stopped, and Marienara dropped him, turning her attention to containing the smoke.

Nick dropped to his knees then collapsed onto the floor unconscious after the experience with the thoughts running through his head Am I dead? what just happened? why did she do that? what was that stuff?

Kia blocked the door to the kitchen, er eyes on the smoke, as Marie dispelled it a small creature popped out and headed for the open door, in a quick fash she split in half with her Katana (and Marienara should have a small ball of smoke in still)
