Ribbin What do you guys think? I need to buy a new guitar in the summer because my shitty squier is in BC. I want to spend enough money to have a decent and hawt guitar. Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty 3It's hawt. It's a Les Paul, and it's epiphone so it's not like 4 grand. $700 seems fair for it, and the ratings are 4.5 stars. They say it's amazing for how much you pay. =D That looks like my guitar...only mine is more yellow.

Agreed. The more black, the betjter. As for the busting out the guitar to Kagura. Doesn't work so well. She's more likely to be like "STOP PLAYING THAT! IT'S TOO LOUD!" >_>;

I have:
Green Day(concert)
Rolling Stones(contest)
Rolling Stones(concert)
AFI(friend)
The Who(present)
I have a Les Paul Standard, lemme check who signed it.
I don't really like AFI xp
Oh, and I have a Led Zeplin(?) signed guitar...it rawks.
I'll see if I can take some pictures for y'all.
I also have a base guitar.
EDIT: I also have a Guns 'n' Roses guitar(Slash look-a-like blaugh ) I FREAKIN LOVE IT!
Who else here has 3k to spend on a guitar?

I'm taking lessons...
But most of what I know now is self-taught. So far I can play...
Tool - The Patient
Collective Soul - December
Tool - Sweat
and LostProphets - Last Train Home
But that's all I can play fluently. I'm learning Everlong by Foo Fighters and a few Hoobastank songs, but as of now, they sound bad.
What I can't figure out is the placements of the notes and such. Five years of playing clarinet really screwed me up in that sense. I'm getting better at scales and such, one I can play fairly fast, but I'm not that good. xd
I has generic guitar. ._.
Edit: Though everyone I know says I need to take drum lessons. My brother even let me drum at his Christmas concert recently. It was exciting as hell.

I can play almost any song.
I can play by ear.
So if you play, I play.
I took lessons...last year, because I was bored, and my teacher was AWESOME!
We just listened to songs on the radio and played them on guitar.
btw, that was only a week of lessons, 6 days, 2 hours a day.
EDIT: I have been playing...about 5-6 years...I'm only 13 -_-
