That laughter would begin, as though it were far away, only to fade in. Louder and louder this deep, booming laughter would be heard. It would appear, standing within Katherine's shadow. His hands lift, and he adjusts his thick collar. That laughter reaches an abrupt halt as he lets long, slender darkness-clad fingers flex. "I am beside myself with anticipation." His hair.. his coat, they move as though they are alive. Flowing upwards his hair would dance above him, while that ragged coat of his would remain unsettled. "There is much too much talking here. This needs to end."

The wall of spear men made no move to evade the arrows. They were summarily massacared, an entire section of the spear wall demolished, but that didn't last. As quickly as they fell, more took their place, grim with determination. The bodies quickly piled up, but still they made no move to attack.

Inside the big tent in the center of the camp, Insomnia watched the two of them with an amused smile. "I'm surprised, girl. I thought you had manners, but your just a child, so I understand why you don't abide by the rules of hosipitality." The words resounded throughout the tent, bouncing off Katherine's power. He turned away from both of them, resting his hands on top of each other. "If you decide to attack, then our truce will end. . ." His head lowered, so dark tendrils dropped from the hood of his silken cloak. "Permanently." He warned her.

His eyes sought hers out. "You don't remember? You don't attack me, I don't attack you. " His hands waved one way, and then the other. He shrugged his shoulders. "We are not freinds, but neither are we eneimes."

He snorted. His hand reached out for her, but stopped just before her face. Just a little taunt. "What? Giving them what they ask for?" The arm flipped around and coiled back to his body. The sillk that covered him wouldn't stop any weapon, but she knew how effective traditional weapons were. "They came to me of their own free will, your so called people, and chose to join my cause. I would never let such followers come to harm, so they continue with their life just like before."

"refuse?" He asked, puzzingly, blinking those black orbs. He stepped backwards, leaving a good size footprint in the ground. "It's not really something you can refuse, girl. Nothing is asked."

"I do not hurt those who do not follow me. I may have to kill at least one person every day, but that doesn't mean it has to be somebody out of my influence." The giant turned away, sounding even more bored than before. "I am getting tired of this. Leave me."

"Your shores?" He asked, suddenly. He moved back to his throne and collapsed into it. "I'm sorry that you don't realize this, but you do not own the land, and never have. That's just a misconception of you humans." He said feircely. "The only things you own are people, and tools." He pulled out a pawn from his throne, and tossed the chess piece to the ground. He crushed it beneath his foot. "I don't know why the monster even stays with somebody so useless."

Insomnia laughed. "You shouldn't let that monster fool you. He's the one who started it all." He remarked on Paradox, his head falling to the side, his chin resting on his hand. He appeared bored again, but a dark humor entered his eyes, followed by the earlier insanity. "This land was the first, and yes, you were bounded to it, but not it to you. Like I am bounded to man." He said, his voice cracking in places.
