*Wanders in.*
So; I just watched Return of the King the Extended Edition for the first time today. It was a four hour long movie- And I couldn't even tell half of what was extended about it. gonk

More like a Tolkien rip. It's a huge book and it's impossible to tell what's going on sometimes because he draws out all the scenes with these extended descriptions of who begot who and so forth.

Ahhh- I thought that might be it but I love Tolkien's work and those descriptions never bothered me so I was debating in my mind about the statement and-gah.

Oddly enough that's what I like about it. Not all the time; no. But I'm a history Major and the history of middle earth intrigues me, even though it is totally made up. Plus I'm just a huge ********' nerd.

*Stumbles out of the boiler room, yawning and stretching.*
Give me Hemingway or Rucka personally. Give the reader enough information to work with and lets get on with the story.

The problem is that the appendices are at the wrong end of the book.
