On an RP high from an EPIC D&D session last night. We ended up staying with it until 2am, though that was mainly because we were waiting for the super-loud/crazy party nearby to die down before we ventured out to take me home . . . but even then, it was AMAZING.

Yeah, that's really all my DM has me roll for, too. If we're looking for something in a shop, she might have me roll percentage dice to see if we actually find what we're looking for, but she's the firm believer that other things (like diplomacy checks and bluff checks) should only be rarely rolled. If you RP convincingly enough, there's no need, but every now and then she'll think and tell me to roll, almost as if to help her make up her mind as to whether or not a person will believe me. Spot, Search, and Listen checks are done if need be -- for stealth and looking for traps and such, but generally, outside of battle, there's not a lot of rolling that's needed, and if there is, she'll tell me.
