And yeah, buyer beware. The poor guy made a gamble and lost. Hey, sometimes people win too, and then they brag about it in the Exchange.I've been doing a lot of buying and selling lately whenever I'm taking a break from other things. Getting rid of the dead weight items in my inventory I never use or never liked. I bet I'm bleeding gold like crazy. It's just slow so I don't really notice.
I got a first gen when they first came out. then sold it for a second gen and like 900K last month... its not new, and i've been wearing it on my previous avi (the one when you came on) for a while, the blue tassel thing... decided to try out the new wig... thats what you scene, Im assuming... now Im wearing this avi trying to decide if I should sell the slippers or not.

I can't keep up with the daily inflation and deflation on items. Lol, I just buy something and hold onto it for the long haul.

I still havn't beaten B/W even though I've had it since the first day, thats just how awesome I am cool
though this is the first one...since the existence of pokemon, where i didn't have to re-do any of the gym battles, or at least so far, just beat the 6th gym, so to left to go!

That's a serious surprise. I would have thought you, of all people, would have finished the game in the first couple of days.
I took my sweet time exploring, leveling up, and searching for possible rare pokemon. And this was the first game that I didn't have to look up the Elite 4 or re-do it!
Have other things on your plate instead or something, ja? By the way, I wanted to ask you a quick question. As I was lurking about in the guild, I noticed you opened a thread. How in the world do you EV train a pokemon in an hour?
Am I just slow or stupid?

I've been taking it pretty slow, making it last as long as possible.
as for EV training in an hour... you need the power items & pokerus this way your getting 10 EVs a battle, and you need to know the best spots to do it so that every battle you find something to kill and never or rarely need to waste time running away. also it helps to turn battle animations off
I can ussually do it in an hour, or if its longer it doesn't feel like it xd

Hmm, with the macho brace and pokerus, I get 6 per fight, and I know most good spots where only one type of pokemon shows up. (Or their evolution.)
But I hadn't thought to make that push for the power items and turning off the battle animations.
Maybe it just feels like forever for me because I'm always panicking about losing count. And lol, I really did try to take my sweet time finishing the game. I think I logged in about 55 hours by the time I knocked out the Elite 4. And there's still a ton of content I'm chewing through.
I'm not disappointed with B/W.

as for keeping track of EV's... i never fight evolutions, since they are very infrequent, or I'll limit myself to killing 1 evolutions, for a special reason XD
then I just count up how much PP I've used, and multiply it by 10 to see how many EVs I've obtained...
the reason I will let mysefl kill 1 evolution is cause... they give 12 EVs, and if I kill 25 goldeens Ill have 250 EVs and then would need to take off the brace and kill 1 more to get to 252.
if I kill 1 seaking, and 24 goldeen, then it adds up to 25 and i'll know to stop, and know that I got the extra 2 pts.

Gasp. I never thought of counting PP. I could grind without thinking, and I could do other things meanwhile. That's a lot easier than marking for each kill.
Lol, good thing I asked you after all. I suppose I'm not stupid, just inefficient. Although, I am dragging my feet earning the right power items. Now I have to decide if I'm going to try it on Black or go back to Soul Silver ...
By the way, which pokemon are you raising for your game on Black? I'm curious.

But damn, just checked something. I didn't know Duosion was White only. Explains why I could never find one, and gah, it's lame that that Gothita is the Black exclusive.
I'd take the cell booger any day. I like Braviary more from White too ... but hey, those birds come really late in the game anyway. I gotta say that's an interesting choice on the hermit crab. Crustle looks like cake to me so I can't take it seriously.
