Lord Yawgmoth

Shadowy Lunatic

PostPosted: Sat Jun 09, 2007 12:20 am

Yawgmoth scoffed "No thank you. We have a bad taste in our mouths where it concerns elves. Despite their supposed noble and wise nature they really are nothing but back stabbing thieves. The elves we have encountered thus far anyhow." Yawgmoth finished with a grumpy look upon his face. Of course he had probably not met any elves that Ziven had met since Yawgmoth knew nothing of the land she spoke of coming from. It was possible it was one of the few places left in this Earth that he had not paid visit to. Yawgmoth's body sunk back into the darkness, a slither trail of black liquid raced down a column forming up the puddle, then the liquid silhouette of him, then finally solidifying into Yawgmoth again. He did not feel like just jumping down since that would cause a lot of noise and unnecessary bullshit from others if he were to break the floor and cause a rumble this late at night.

"Well then. I hope to continue to disprove that your experiences with elves generally result in thievery and mistrust. I have taken nothing from you without permission nor spoke anything but truth, even though it is rare that what I say may please you." she said softly, sounding as if she was finding this all rather entertaining as she continued to drink from her glass. She paused from her actions, speaking to him with an oddly calm, somewhat normal tone. "How may you be on this evening, Mr Yawgmoth?"

Yawgmoth scoffed again "Let one of our Phyrexian's stab you in the back of the head with a powerstone to weaken you and then sell you off into slavery until you're rescued. See if you trust Phyrexians again." Yawgmoth replied. The thought of what that particular race of elves had done made Yawgmoth smile though. As soon as Gix arrived and freed him by taking out the shard of the stone that was lodged in his brain Yawgmoth butchered his slave captors in ways unfit to describe with words. It was glorious. Blinking out of his flashback in thought Yawgmoth shrugged. "We are at best ok. We are neither happy, angry, sad or otherwise."

"Apathy perhaps? I am pleased to know you feel well, relatively speaking." she said softly. Thinking of what he said previously, she drank more, then tilted her head as she looked at him. "Do people make such decisions often? To judge an entire people by the action of few or one? And what of persons such as myself? I .. for want of better terms, am a mutt. The blood of more than one race flows through my veins. How does one determine if they are to like or dislike under those terms?"

"We are judged by our past even though we no longer commit such acts of war any longer. If we can be so judged as to not be given the chance to show that we are no longer that bloodthirsty then we can also judge so races that have crossed us in such a back handed manner. We have fought with goblins, orcs, ogres, humans, and demonic monstrosities but none of them were as underhanded enough to pull what those elves did. They all met us on the battle field. The big surprise on that list is humans, we have always thought them far inferior to everything and yet even they were brave enough not to try underhanded guerrilla tactics." Yawgmoth proclaimed. Only the elves of skyshroud had crossed him so. Of course, other races had tried these underhanded things too, elves were just the most well known about the universe.

"It is logical to judge an individual for their actions. It is illogical to judge an individual on behalf of actions of one similar to them. It is also illogical, as you are saying, for one to continue to pass judgment on an individual the same going forward despite their actions having changed from previous experiences. Yet it is also logical for one to be more wary of the individual .. There is the saying of; Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. If one is thinking in those terms in regards to you, they are forever more waiting for you to 'fool' them again." she sighed and shook her head. Again she drank deeply from her glass, wanting to drown her thoughts from her mind. "My so called people reject me. All of them. Sure there are a few individuals who do not mind me .. what of that?" she askes, trying to poke holes in his logic while gaining a better understanding of his thoughts on the subject.

Fox walks in driping wet from the hot springs. He looked like he was siting at the bottom of the water all night. Skin raised from the amount of water that filled his cells. His hair pulled back in a but for a item being with his shirt sling over his right shoulder , boots tied together lieing on to of that. Seing what was going on in this place, he saw "Her" with that he let out a sigh and just headed past her and flopped in to his large red high back chair. A he was there he threw his pance next to the firs so they could dry.

With his entrance in to this room, the shadows became thicker and almost violent, hands starting to form from teh thick mist that you could almost tuch with its entensaty

Yawgmoth only laughed at her. "We have told you this before. You are a youngling in the eyes of the universe. You know nothing of the universe's logic and that logic is the only truth. So what may be "illogical" to you is how things run in the universe. View it however you like. If prejudice is illogical than why does it even exist? Because it is how the universe flows." Yawgmoth said actually taking a seat across the bar from her now. His tail flipped up and laid itself atop the bar reaching around for a glass. "What of that huh? All sentients creatures have their own opinions. Whether these opinions are the facts of the universe remains undetermined but they have them none the less. Just as we have our opinion of you. You are weak, feeble, shy, with low self esteem and no pride in the things you accomplish. Your opinion of us is that we are aggressive, pompous, arrogant, egocentric and just downright an a*****e. Perhaps you think of us as Ame, Seisuke's wife, once did. That we are so appealing to the eye yet so appalling to the mind. These opinions are not all facts. Some are. Some are not. But because we are sentient creatures, we have them. The same as those in your people that shun you do, and those that accept you also."

Ziven simply nodded and laughed also. "How true. Just then, you sound like Ali. Blunt truth, take it or leave it." she sighed, looking at her empty glass again for a moment. Setting it down with a rather loud clunk, her head soon made the same sound against the surface of the bar as she leaned herself against it. She then pulled her arms under herself, resting her chin on her forearms as they crossed one over the other, blue eyes staring without focus at Yawgmoth's abdomen since he happened to be sitting across from her still. It became clear that the effects of the alcohol were setting in which compounded on her current state of mind. "Logic is illogical."

Yawgmoth's crimson eyes followed her blue ones and then turned back up. "If we didn't know any better we would think you're checking us out little girl. Perhaps when we were after your pants we should've just had you drink instead of trying to force things" Yawgmoth proclaimed with a loud laugh.

He got up from his chair letting his hair down and shacking it for a moment then he started across the bar. Stepping across this hard wood floor leaving little potles of water behind him. As he walked passed Ziven he eyed her both in a angered way and almost a lustful way. He headed behind the bar for a drink, for once he did not have to strep on tot he bar to get it. For he was in his older form and was not as short as he once was .

"Hardly." was all she said. Slowly she turned herself, resting her back against the side of the bar facing inward, sliding down so she was sitting on the floor there now. Legs stretched outward, she crossed one ankle over the other. Her glass from the bar disappeared from the table, reappearing in her hand and again filled with the elven drink. She had finally realized that Fox had entered, but did not greet him at this time, it did not seem that he wanted to be around people right now seeing as he went straight to the chair on the other side. Her thoughts rolled back to what Yawgmoth was saying. "I do not wish to think about anything at the moment, that is all." she said, then drank again from her glass. She saw Fox come through behind the bar and hoped he would not trip over her but was unsure where he would go.

Fox fell as he did not judge his steps right as eh was walking threw her open legs trying to get his water. Falling down on top of her as light as he could with his chest pressed agents hers looking in to her face almost in a shocked maner from his fall. This was a axodent for once , he was not trying to touch her and there he did.

Without moving, she watched as he came and then fell on her. Blue eyes stared in to his own for a moment surprised at their closeness. "Greetings, Little One." she said very quietly. The glass in her hands disappeared and she gently hugged him with both arms. "My apologies for causing you to fall."

"There is no need to say you are sorry. " He said as he looked in to her eyes not trying to get up almost like he liked being there. His tail wrapped its self around her right leg. as the tip of it ran up and down her lower leg softly.
