"Yes both side are rather dangerous... and neither side trusts the other...but,I understand both sides equally. soul reapers hated the Quincy due to them destroying the entire soul.rather than trying to save it which caused an imbalance to humans and the soul society. The Quincy hate the soul reapers for as far back as I've been told for well killing them off as if the were insignificant flies."

"Well, if the shinigami tried to kill off all the Quincys before, they'll hold a grudge. If the Quincys came back, there would be more fighting, and someone would get seriously dwindled down. They can't win anyways; the shinigami are part of something far larger."
