Glad to see my suggestion was adopted though. xp Oh, so it was you who banned all the versus threads, eh?? It's my only claim to fame. But the people who are so uptight about them being banned need not know that it was I who wanted them banned first. ninja I'd hate to see your inbox if that ever became public knowledge... I'd just lol. Seriously; arguing on the Internet? About fictional characters? Please. The ban doesn't bother me one way or another. I was never a fan of VS threads, and nowadays I spend very little time in the AMC, anyways. I didn't mind Vs threads. Until the likes of DasUberGuy began making them. "Godly American Comic Character Vs Popular Japanese Cartoon Character" vs topics are no fun at all.

hilaroma I swear you guys have cursed me. Just after I was reading about your experiences of being put on-hold on the phone, I had to call back to the hospital to schedule another MRI session. They had me on-hold for 20 minutes before I finally hung up. mad Faaaaaail. I hate being put on hold. I'm so impatient, I hardly ever last more than 5 minutes. sweatdrop

Dr. Fomite Oh, man. 4laugh I'm so excited. I got the first half of my DVD order in today.
I'm going to spend this whole weekend watching movies all day long. And much of the night. YAY! whee What DvDs?

These factors include, but are not limited to, the fact that a growing number of versus threads were veiled attempts at trolling, the increasing number of reports concerning abuse coming from within these threads (even in the non-borderline trolling cases) and also the declining effort put into creating and replying to these threads. Multiple solutions were considered when coming to this decision, but as none of them proved feasible, the decision to ban versus threads from most of AMC was reached. "

3.14 But why were they banned all together? I mean, I really don't care. I never post in them...just curious. ...and I am TELLING!!! I expect if they're going to get rid of some, they have to have a clear cut distinction or thread creators will throw fits over why their thread didn't fall within the guidelines... It'd also probably breed threads in which people try to "cheat" to meet the guidelines by technicality. Easier to regulate if it's a very clear line.

3.14 The first episode is weird...it really doesn't have anything to do with the rest of the story.. The first episode is a masterpiece of directing from I... ULTRA DIRECTOR SUZUMIYA HARUHI! But the camera work was crappy. That's Kyon's fault. stare

LunaInverse Or something like that. As it is, most hold music is not much better then elevator music. What better way to make sure that you're not favoring a group than to play something that hardly anyone likes? xp

" I'm very glad that Phoe addressed that, I had brought up a couple specific cases of it to her not too long ago. It is unfortunate that they degenerated to that degree in AMC, but trolling is trolling.

...And that's only the first half of my order. whee Oooh, yeah.

My least favourite is when there's either dead silence, or just spoken advertisements instead of music. gonk
