Nebride stepped back from Gwendar. "Let me show you what else could be given to you if you work hard." She closed her eyes and from all around her things began to come together.
Suddenly, standing by her side were all her different elemental protectors. For fire she had a dragon bigger than her and Jane put together, for Earth she had a large, dirt brown bear, for Wind she had what looked like a cyclone pillar and for water she had another dragon. It was easily the most beautiful among them all.
"These are what you can receive. A protector from each of the elements. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you'll receive more than one. I have more than one for each element, but these are easily the strongest of them all."

((soory but ill be gone for a week or so

he was amazed at her abilities. he never realised how powerful she was.

Sek:
he had just reported what he had seen and heard to the High chancellor The emperors second in command.
the news he got was an annoying one.....they had dispatched a daemon hunter to asses the situation.
how dare they undermine me like that he thought.
the daemon hunters are far to reckless to undergo such an investigation.
Togan: he didnt see it coming at all. he even stumbled back and fell (again).
he got up only to find himself blushing. "i guess im not quite that good yet Gren" he said covering his embarrassment with a smile.
Daemon Hunter Sero:
he had received a letter saying of this new 'task' he was to get to the elven village immediately. these jobs were not usually completed by Daemon hunters unless daemons were involved. Something strange must be happening.
he picked up his bow glowing dark red. he slowly and carefully wrapped each bandage around his scars. the blood had dryed. he had just fought several daemons in his last battle. he may be new to the order but he was no novice. The daemon hunters by far the greatest asset in the war against daemons and possibly the greatest warriors ever known.
((note ^^ ithe main char of my series is a daemon hunter, this guy actually dyes in my series hes crushed by a large hammer. poor guy.
^^ lol hes ment to be a ladies man lol mght cause a little jealousy somewhere down the track.))

Nebride smiled. "Yes, I'm sure we can beat anything once your properly trained to call your abilities at the drop of a pin." She turned to Jane. "Thank you, Jane--you did very well."
Jane closed her mouth and nodded. "If you don't need me anymore for a while, I'm going to go and walk among the villagers, go check on Ilana."
"Of course." Nebride nodded to her friend. "I'll call you when I need you." As soon as Jane was gone she turned back to Gwendar. "Okay, let's get started in your training.

(( hey guys sorry ive been so slow on my part of the story i just got my internet working again and now i can hurry and speed things along ...well i actully i cant untill profit gets back but ya so once again im sorry that ive been slow on my part of the story))

ok guys that should about cover all our defense so far now listen up* he said in the most serious voice he could muster* not all of us may live through this seing as how its twenty of us against fifty of them lucky for us tho teh 35th platoon is a bunch of brwlers no magic no bows all swords and clubs with them so each of you need to be albe to atleast kill 2 each i have mines set out side the only entrace they can make into our camp so we may not have much to worry about and ill be out there with my blades and magic so please dont shoot me and also we have set up target on lines so that you may practice shoot moving targets *he said pointing over to the targets* .....this isnt going to be pretty *he said as he started gnawing on his shackels*

Jane walked through the village slowly and when she got to her house she was surprised to find it empty. "Where did they go?" She exited and found the girl she had left with Ilana. "Where did Ilana go to?"
The girl began to stammer. "Well...um...ah..she...Mistress Ilana went to find you and Nebride."
Jane sighed and shook her head. "Thank you--I will find her."

"They are still in the training circle, and Gwendar is doing surprisingly well, for a human. He's already managed to acquire wings, and as you know---only the high priestess has ever been able to do that." Jane said with a slight bow of her head.

HOLD FIRE!!! *he said to the men that where shooting at the targets and noticed that they where increasing rapidly* ok good now we are going to try to trun and shoot.....

why do we have to learn to trun and shoot?

because ifyou cant turn and shoot a target then what are you going to do if they get close on your blind side

Nebirde knew Elven magic but against a daemon or sorcerer it has its limits.
Holy magic however could prove useful and the more of them who could use it the better.
"I could train you to use prayer and enchantments to our advantage....only through discipline and faith can you truly defeat these creatures."

he was very tired. they had been practicing the whole time and he hardly had the time to catch his breath.
plus he might be able to actually spend time with Gren without fighting her.
he had a feeling that she might like him... after all every time he looked at her she was smiling at him.
Daemon Hunter Sero:
He left the bar he had been staying at and made his way to the stables. his white stallion 'the stupid thing' was a gift for finishing his training so in effect it was a poor gift. However lucky for him it was quite a fit horse and always served to catch the ladies attention.
"wow what a beautiful horse....are you its owner?" the Young lady asked.
"Why yes it is perhaps i could give you a ride?" he answered.
whatever the problem is im sure it can wait an hour or so he thought helping the girl on his horse.
Grael:
there training was going by fast. Elazul said they were progressing but he still didnt think they had even a slight hope. they were outnumbered and up against trained soldiers......hopefully the traps would sufice.

Nebride looked at him for a moment. "I suppose that would be a good idea. I am asking you to learn our magic, so I will try and learn yours as well." She smiled at Gwendar. "What do you want to try and learn first?"

the holy magic they used wasn't so much magic but them asking the gods to help them.
"When people pray they are asking the gods to help them.....but when we pray our prayers are answered in holy fire. to master holy maigc is to have the gods listen to your every word...and to do that you must have great faith and unending will."
