Hikari drew her weapon "Sorry Kinino dark flans are pretty resistant against light attacks. non elemental attacks are the best for this battle. However everything has a weak spot somewhere if we can find it and cut it open we might have better luck"

Alex stood stunned "Thats the dumbest idea I've ever heard look at it! It takes the entire corridor there no way we're gettin round that thing"
Itaka frowned "Don't seem too interested does it" he said as the arrow sank into it it wobbled a bit but proceded to do nothing

"well you know a blade would probably do nothing" She suddenly had a thought "Hey Oassu do you still have a few grenades?" The fiend was slowly making it's way forwards. "Why would you want a grenade anyway" Hikari asked
"Call it curiosity, i want to find out what would happen if we chucked one in it's mouth" She replied

Oassu shrugged "Whatever works" he tossed her a grenade from his satchel Alex frowned "What are you planning?"

Alpha was in thought for a second "I think i know where this is going. Your planning to blow it apart from the inside?" Seph smirked at his question "Not exactly, but close. I don't expect the grenade to kill it but i suspect it will do more damage" She threw the grenade with perfect timing for it to fly into the mouth. there was a large bang followed by a small cry of pain from the fiend "Well it definately felt that"

Itaka grinned "now it looks pissed " the flan wobbled furiously as it amassed energy.
Itaka checked his satchel "Don't got many more of these" he frowned pulling out the other grenades as a dark energy bolt scorched the wall above his head

"This starts to bring back memories doesn't it Seph" Alpha threw a fire gem at the fiend "Have some." He tossed a few over
"No thanks, i don't need them" Hikari replied "Anyone got some instant death or at least poison items?"

The group looked at each other nonplussed. Alex piped up "uh... I know a poison spell?"

Hikari was getting frustrated "We are getting nowhere fast." Darkness glowed around her. Seph stared in shock shes casting doom. The darknedd began to sweep before the fiend making it difficult to see. After a few seconds the light began to return "That will kill it eventually but theres no telling how long it may take, so it's best we keep fighting. You can ask questions later" Hikari knew that everyone would want to know about what she did later

Kimino was shocked that magic is forbidden....the darkness is having a bad effect on her
Alex examined "hmmm doom spell? We've had reports of this curse but they are sketchy at best"
Itaka snorted "Dishonourable"

Hikari said nothing as the fiend slowly faded away inot nothingness. The silence was killing her. "You know i'm a half blood. My father was a demon that had both light and dark elements. The only reason they put me in the clan was to stop me from developing dark abilites"

Kimino shook his head sadly "Precisely why we kept you there" he sighed "but the bird must fly the nest at some time"
Oassu watched as the fiend wasted away
"Well that was a dissapointment" Itaka grumbled frowning "No challenge"
Alex juggled his pistols "Heh should be interesting from here on out I hope" he watched the fiend waste away and pulled out the dark gem "These specimens have powerful dark energy but we've never found one before" the gem glowed as light beams exploded from its end encircling the weakened creature absorbing it as if sucking it through a straw into the gem. Eventually there was nothing left and the gem was slightly more powerful
"heh thats that then" Alex smirked

"Well there you go. you know the real reason for my heresy." Seph started to move forward again seaching the floor "Well it's pretty normal to learn two elelments but some often neglect one element" She got up. "We are nearly at the centre now"
