Fa stopped for a moment when he heard the person speak, but soon started moving again to prevent himself from sinking all the way in.
He would yell over to Unsane in his deep rubbling voice.
"I do not think that I have been there before. but I can tell you that if you were to walk strait in the direction that I came from, you would find a city in about 2 months or more."

The elemental just stood there and stared in mild disbelief. Some weird guy, awkwardly trying to prevent himself from sinking too deep in the sand, walking around in the desert for two months. It was just too much.
"Wait, two months? Are you kidding?"
At least now he knew where not to go. Sigh.

Fa would finally reach the valley between the dunes and would stop there. He sunk down to his knees then stopped. Slowly shifting his body so that he would be facing the other person.
"I don't think it would take you more than 2 months. It took me a lot longer than that, but I have never been good at figuring out distance and stuff like that. So it might take you a little more or a little less time."

Unsane didn't even want to eat him anymore. Might be contagious.
"Just ... get lost. You're useless."
The demon turned on his heels and moved on. Over the horizon, he could see mountains, and what looked like a volcano. Maybe he'd find a bit more civilization there, or at least badlands and wastelands that are more rock than sand. Even if it felt just like walking on snow, it was a pain in the a**, and he couldn't run without wasting magic.

Fa shrugged his shoulders, and slowly turned so that he was facing the direction that he had been going. Then began to slowly climb out of the sand pit that he had made for himself and up the next dune.
He did not even have a grunt in return for anything that Unsane had to say.
Ruhin suddenly woke up and began speaking to Fa. "Hey, was that a demon."
Fa looked at his little friend that only he could see. " I don't know, why would I know."
"Come one don't you have any clues."
"Would you just shut up!"

Static had been flollowing Tomb's for about a 5 hours now and it was nearing dark. He had gone though half of his water bottles by now and was getting tired.
"Say Tombs, I don't know if you need a rest or not, But I know of this oasis about a mile to the north west from here. I think I am going to start heading in that direction and stay there for the night. If you would like to follow me you can, other wise. I could show you where we are going on the map if you think you can remeber it, and I will meet you there in about 2 days."

"I will find it."
Of course, he had to see the map first. Other than that it would be smooth sailing. Then he'd dig a holes straight down until he found something that wasn't sand.
((Eh, lame post. Guess I'm done for the day.))

Static hand's Tomb's the map so that he can study it. Then after Tomb's had given it back to Static, the man would put it away in his pack and would set off to the Northwest to find his way to the oasis that he knew of.
When he got there he would, fill his water bottles, and set up camp for the night.
((Well I will see you later then))

Tombs found the place easily. Simple directions went a long way in the desert.
So he got there and started digging. Not sure just where to dig, Tombs removed about five feet of sand from the whole area, which created a mound off in the distance of all the displaced material. Being the desert, the hole would gradually fill in with gravity and the wind.
Still at work, he kept the shovel moving.

Static comes to the area where the ruined city is supose to be according to the map. The man looks about for where Tombs may be, but he does not see him right away.
"Maybe he had something to do or he is standing on the other side of one of these dunes."
Static starts to look around the area for where his partner might be. Being careful to not step in any sink holes or anything in case his partner decided to start digging early.

Since the desert wasn't a place of outstanding features, the mound of sand would have been a good place to start looking. Tombs would be nearby in a wide shallow, continuing to excavate more and more sand.
Doing his best to get a hole dug before the sand shifted in and buried it.

Static would soon find Tombs digging a hole that was continually filling up. He would walk as close as possable to the place where the corpse was working then he would stop.
"OK, From what I can tell on this map, the place that we should be digging starts about 10 feet to the left, give or take 5 feet or so. What I need you to do is just dig a hole big enough for use to fit in and I will make sure that the hole will not fill in. When you get deep enough you should hit a solid wall. From that point I will produce a way for you to get out, so that I can Make the hole perminate."
After he finished saying this, Static would take a seat as close to the digging sight as safely poassable. Then he would wait for Tombs to start digging, while he began to work on his focus.

With a curt nod, still balancing the top hat on his head, Tombs took a couple steps to the side as per the directions. Then he'd keep the spade moving through the sand. Coat tails waving in whatever wind was present.
Then the sand would seem to fly off Tombs' shovel. Where one spadeful of shovel moved, several more on the ground shifted away.
All before a 6' x 3' grave plot gave way under Tombs. He didn't fall or waver, the ground just lowered about six feet deep. And again, and again, until Tombs was standing on something other than loose sand. The near-perfect cut rectangle in the would stand fairly well until something shifted weight onto one wall and caused it to collapse. Other than that, it was stable.
In any case, depending on depth, Static might want a rope or rope ladder to get in and out. Tombs didn't bother, because he was already at the bottom.

Static would stay where he was sitting and would yell out in a slightly strained voice.
"Tombs, I need to make the hole perminate. So I need you to find a safe place somewhere. Weather you need to get out of the hole or you can go a little deeper into the ruins down there, if you can get in. You just can't be in the hole, because it is going to get very hot in there."
Sweat was starting to bead on Static's head as he sat there. It was obviouse that whatever he was doing to keep the walls up, was taking him to his very limit.
