She smiled. "Goodnight," she said and then drifted off, her head rested on his chest.

As she dreamed, she felt more comfortable in her sleep than usual. She didn't toss or turn at all. She just stayed in one position.

When she woke up, the sun was shining warmly in their faces. She leaned over and kissed Leon gently on the cheek. "Good morning," she whispered.
