My comment was sarcastic... I did not actually want anyone to be unhappy.
sad I'm sure you didn't cause anyone's unhappiness, Astri. Unless you told the electric company not to give us our bill until it was so astronomically high that we couldn't pay it off... but I don't think you would or could do that.
In other news, we are going to be getting some help with our bill through this service that will help you pay your bill when you need it. But they only pay a portion and we have to come up with our portion first, which is over $300. The people we live with say they can come up with about $100 of it, so I offered to go further into debt with my credit card to make up the rest... except I found out that the electric company doesn't let you pay by credit card. I'm not sure if you can buy a money order with a credit card, but if not then I'll have to get a cash advance from the bank, which means my interest will be going through the roof... some more.
All I can say is that I'd better get a job SOON. I've applied at a bunch of places, not a single one has called back. I'm going to call two of the places today (once my phone is finished charging up here at the library) and see if the hiring manager(s) had a chance to look over my app(s).
I'm so desperate for money I've even considered asking my dad for some. (Quick background on my dad - he's a big loser with no people skills. I made many attempts to get in touch with him through email, no response, finally called him, he got all weird, and still wouldn't respond to emails, so I gave up. That was about a year ago.)
