Penden Don't get me wrong, I have to work all spring break! yeah I work by the hour at a 9-5 office, so i get breaks for school, but when reading week came around, it was the 9-5 grind every day razz

me too... *wonders what to do next in context* should we run and try to evade the people or should we try to obliterate them by sheer force?
either way, I suspect that we screwed it up for Theron and Arril to be on either side of the struggle.
first Arril lost it when the slavers took him, then after not finding Sih on his person after passing out (more on this later...) he goes ballistic and Theron kills one of the men... either they are going to get captured, or they will be captured after being maimed. or they could escape... but that would make it too easy...

Hmmmm... Maybe they could fight their way out. Theron can make people see things, but it will make him weak though.
They both are in deep trouble though. They could try to escape, but why would they need to escape if the people see things that aren't really there, so Arril and Theron can take their stuff and flee, but then Theron will be incapacitated for some time though.

Yeah, you're screwing with my royal messengers from Tok biggrin They're dragon-bonded. But they won't be switching with their dragons unless their life is really in danger or they get reaaaaaaally pissed

do you see a peaceful way out of the situation? considering that the messengers may have lost one of their own to a knife wound in the throat, I dont really see a way to resolve this peacefully, but maybe if they see Arril's form they will want some questions answered, maybe switching from a fight to kill them, to a fight to subdue the interlopers.
Oh, and Sih is somewhere, waiting for an oppertune moment to strike at the leader.

There maybe a peaceful way out. But that might be highly unlikely. Also, Theron was reacting purely on instinct. If Arril was dead, so would Theron. But, there might be, such as what you suggested.
Also, if Sih gets the leader, then wouldn't they stop fighting as well?
