-Stealth suits are little bulky for my tastes so I might personally go & get the old models before hand. But it looks as though they may have some kind of hard point for equipment so I may change my mind & make a mixed unit
-The new Etheral looks like some kind of Inquistor. He is probly holding some kind of Etheral power boosting equipment
-Other Etheral appears to be on some sort of flying platform & maybe has some kind of CC orianted body gaurds. He reminds me of one of those head hancho aliens from Halo & Halo 2

I like the new Stealths myself, but just to give you a heads up, there's no rules difference between the new suits and the old suits, so you can make a squad of the old ones if you like them better, and they'll be the same as these new ones.

And few people have said they like the new Ethereals. The one on a floating platform in particular has been commented on as looking like "a drunk old man in the middle of a alcohol induced rant" and "the Space Pope." I for one, will probably field Shadowsun, and buy both the new Crisis and Stealth suits, but Mr. Drunken Space Pope will not be seeing the inside of my army transport.

Stealth suits will get a slight re tool.if you look, the squad has two diffrent weapon types in it.Also they are plastic.

I know they're getting a rules retool, what I was saying is the new suits and the old suits have no fuctional difference in the new Dex. They're both the same unit and whichever model you choose to use makes no difference except the new suits don't require conversion to put a fusion blaster on.

Etheral AA. But yea if the stealth suits can carry fusion guns it will be very exciting to use them on some heavy armour

If you ask me, the Etheral looks like a Prophet from Halo 2...

Hmmm... Isn't the Imperium more Covenantish then Tau?

Crisis don't look any different to me, they just have some new weapon options. I really like the new stealth models, i'll probably replace my old ones with them. Does anyone know if the Skyray and Pirahna will be GW plastics, or will they just be in the book and we'll have to still order from Forgeworld, like the Space Marine Drop Pod?

Crisis suits have a new sprue included for commanders with commander specific weapons and wargear plus alternate heads. In addition, the knees are now bendable and I hear they're fixing the issue of the extremely weak ankles on the Crisis and Broadsides. Rumor has the Skyray and Pirahna being GW plastics, but probably not released until a couple months after the codex.

Sweet. Though I dont think the Borad sides have weak ankles. Its mostly placed inside the foor & is not raised like the Crisis

Those suits in the lower left corner, what are they? And is that an anti-air mod of hte hammerhead in teh far right? And do those CS's have a new weapon? Looks like a mini ion cannon.

Does anyone else think the Tau need some additional infantry weapons? THe carbine is next to useless, and the pulse rifle is only good against lighter infantry, it has no real anti-armor capability and isn't that good against things like terminators, which usually outnumber crisis suits.

First the "Anti air" hammerhead is called the Sky Ray. It totes whatever number of seeker missles. The suits in the lower left conner are the new plastic stealth suits. I have no info on the Ionish weapon. & yes we do need some serious somewhat heavy weapons But Im thinking the Rail gun drones may be the heavy weapons weve been looking for

It only carries seeker missiles? What a useless piece of crap. Unless of course the seekers come free or it can launch them on its own.

They were seriously modified, why were they changed so much just for hte changeover to plastic?

Rail rifles seem more along the lines of good sniper weapons, especially since you can't include them in a regular squad, and instead have to give htem to a special squad of gun drones and a couple pathfinders.

Its part of the equipment & Id personally say they would still need a markerlight but it allows for more of them to be used.

Ive heard that the new stealth suits may be toting fusion guns. The other reason they are now plastic is that GW wants to make more money on them.

& I ment to say Rail Rifles but I wrote Rail Gun. & it looks like they may not have much in the way of rule changes for those weapons
