((I understand. ;3 Don't worry...I'll be sure to tell you when we are too far. *nods*))

Ryou starred wide eyed at the Phoenix as he healed Bakura's side. This was way too weird to NOT be a dream. The next thing the phoenix said made Ryou's once almost white face bright up in red. "Wha..what?!" he exclaimed, stumbling over his words.

"N...no! He's not...not my..." He stopped in embarassment and looked to other way, wishing he could cover his deep blush that was creeping cheek to cheek. "M...my name's...Ryou." he said finally, still looking the other way. "Tha...thanks for...healing him...I really owe you..." Still trying to keep his face turned so the others couldn't see it, he spoke in a hushed voice, cheeks burning.

When the strange creature spoke to another person, Ryou blinked and looked up to see Malik around the corner.

((You guys don't worry about slowing the thread down for me heart . Way things are now, I don't know when I'll be able to read up on everything that's been happening. I mean... when did a phoenix show up oO!?

If you guys want, just say that Jou fell asleep, or... mysteriously went into a coma, or... something xD;;. I might pull him out of the RP altogether at this point, I don't know yet.))

Yami was in too much shock to even comprehend what was being done. Bakura was healed, for the most part if one didn't count the blood loss. But his side was no longer open, so that much was a good thing. As much as the former Pharaoh disliked Bakura he didn't want to see him dead. "That was... and I am out of place here..."

( ;-; )
Hikari grinned at Ryou the best a phoenix can. "Cute name." He turned to the Pharaoh as he spoke. "As for why I'm here, I have been sent by Ra to speak to you and your friends here, Atemu." He paused slightly, as though trying to work out how to say his message.
"The Shadowed One has returned- And you know which Shadowed One I'm refering to. My god has sent you back to Earth to seal it back into it's prison, to save the world once again. But you will need help- As you can see, Shadowed One has many horrible minions that are stronger even than before- Stronger than Akunadin and the High Priest of Shadows, stronger than the Theif Bakura's hatred." As he was mentioned, Bakura stirred slightly. Apparently Hikari didn't notice the resemblance between the weakened man and the strong ancient Egyptian.
"Other than that and what I am about to say, I can tell you no more. But you will need the help of the Tomb Keeper clan, the descendant of the Blue-eyed Priest, the gods themselves, and the White one. Seeking this help will take you from down the street back to your homeland, and guided by the Tomb Keepers, you will find the throne of the Gods and gain the trust of the White One as well. A word of warning- Death comes quickly to those who stray, and along your journey, one, or possibally many of the people closest to you will fall prey to the Minions of the Darkness..." Finally his voice trailed off, before adding on a happier note, "But you've already defeated him once. I'm sure you can do it again."

Malik's brain snapped back to consciousness as the Phoenix spoke. The Tomb Keepers? That was obviously Malik, Isis, Rishid, or all three of them. The descendant of the Blue-eyed Priest was Seto Kaiba, although how they would get him to help was beyond the Egyptian. But who was the White One? And who would fall prey to the Minions of the Darkness? Surely it wasn't...
Malik shuddered unconsciously. It couldn't be. Sure, Yami had defeated him before, and he would probably defeat him again, but at what cost?

Yami Malik silently listened to Hikari's ominous words. He came to the same conclusion as Malik. The White One? Bakura, Ryou? Or someone else?
(If your character is put in a role you don't want him to be in, say something!)

((Awww *hugs her Ryoko* :[ White One? *blinks* Haha, hmmm...curious I am.)

Ryou blushed even more when Hikari said his name was cute. His attention went back as he began talking seriously. Everything seemed so surreal at this point. None of what he was saying made much sense to him. White One? He sat in a confused state as he continued listening.

As the pheonix had stopped, Ryou looked back to Bakura, glad to see some movement in the other. Right now, he was just worried for his health than what the pheonix had said. "Thank God..." he mumured to himself and smiled slightly. His heart lifted as he looked back over to the others curiously.

"I'm...confused..."

"Wait..." Yami blinked, listening to Hikari's words. He sighed softly before looking around at Ryou, Bakura, Yami Marik and Malik. He knew that Malik, Rishid and Isis would help again like they did before when he sacrificed himself last time. Did that mean he had to die again? And people close to him... that meant Seto and Yuugi. And even Jounouchi. He had to stay calm, but losing Seto before he even got to see him again? He bit his lip and clamped his fists lightly together.

"Of course... I can do it again. I did it twice before, I guess third time's the charm right? As for the decendant of the priest I'm sure I can try and talk some sense into him. I know I'll need some help from him for sure." Yami spoke softly, yet firmly to show that he wasn't scared of dying again. Although he wasn't exactly fond of the idea. And when he heard about the Dark One, his face paled slightly. He knew exactly who it was... and he wasn't fond of meeting up with him yet again. And who was the white one? Kisara? No, she was dead. The Blue Eyes White Dragon? Ryou? Bakura? That part got the poor Pharaoh confused again.

(Poor confuzzled Pharaoh. Haha..
And yeah, the except there was...edited. Because my RPing sucked back then.)
Malik frowned slightly. "Uhm...Pharoah...There's a problem." The Egyptian looked away before continuing. "I don't know where Isis and Rishid are. You see..."
Previously...

Malik suddenly froze, going pale. The Egyptian simply moved over to the phone, without asking, and dialed Isis' number.
"We're sorry, the number you have dialed cannot be reached. It has either been disabled or disconnected."
The teen stood there in shock for a few minutes, lavender eyes wide. "Oh. My. Ra. Isis and Rishid left to go to EGYPT! And they left me!" He put a mark through 'living to become 18' mentally. Or, if they didn't leave,, he mused, they were looking for me- But they didn't know where Bakura lived. They can't find me!

Malik finished his story with a deep sigh. He hoped they were safe.

"I'm sorry..." Yami spoke softly, looking at Malik for a moment. He suddenly felt sorry for the young Egyptian, he was worried for Isis and Rishid as well. If they were in Egypt, then he knew that they might find them if he does go back to his homeland. But he still had to get Seto's help and everything else that Hikari had mentioned. "The only way that we can find them is if I go back to Egypt... but we need Seto's help. And the only way that can happen is if one of us asks him. As for the gods, that should be easy."

Malik adopted a confused face. "What do you mean? Where can we speak to them? And what if Kaiba thinks he's gone off the deep end and doesn't believe that you're back? Or something." He seemed to think that Kaiba wouldn't believe them. Maybe he had changed his 'hocus-pocus' hating ways. Maybe not.
Yami Malik silently observed the conversation, not adding anything in. He simply stood in the shadows like a statue, as though he had been turned to stone.
Suddenly a light-blub went off in Malik's head. He whirled around, looking for Hikari. "Hey, Hikari, do you know what we should..." the teen cut off when he realized that the Phoenix had disappeared. There was a messily written note in his place, written in Egyptian...
'Sorry, I don't know anything else! Good luck on your journey, Pharaoh. And good luck with the lover, Ryou. Once again, he's very beautiful- You should hold onto him! -Hikari
Malik deadpanned silently. Ryou and...Bakura!? Damn bird.
Hikari watched the teens, peering through one of the many windows to the earthly world. Being the god's messenger, he had special privilages and duties- One of which would be watching over them. He didn't see the point, since there was little the phoenix could do if the Shadowed One attacked.
But it was the thought that counted, he supposed. So the phoenix would watch over them like a guardian, reporting everything to Ra himself. Seeing the blond's expression, the bird let out what was considered a giggle to him. Oh well. The Egyptian could interpret it as he willed, although his interpretation might be wrong. Who's to say? Hikari sure wasn't. He simply continued his giggling fit.

"That's a good point.... the only way to talk to the gods is to actually go to Egypt. I mean we're both Egyptian, so we know more about them than Jounouchi, Ryou and the others. I'm sure Bakura does, but he's out of it right now..." Yami replied, almost feeling left out of this whole thing. As for Seto? He'd have a few things planned to make him believe that he was back. But of course the CEO was the master of denial.

"He never believed me before, but he said once 'I trusted you, now you trust me.' So perhaps I can use that to our advantage. I tell him to trust us, and maybe he will listen. Or he'll tell me to get the hell out of the office and call Isono on us. I'm willing to take my chances. Besides, he owes me." Yami grinned for a moment.

(*Giggles* And thus my master plan comes into play. Well once we get a Seto.)

Ryou was still utterly confused...nothing was making sense, nothing. He watched the other converse before seeing that Hikarui had left. Moving himself over to the note he read it and blushed deeply again. He wasn't his lover!

"But he isn't my..." Sighing heavily he looked back over to Bakura, wishing he would wake up or atleast show signs of movement. He was still worried. There was part of him wondering why he should even care about his counter part, after all, what had he done for him? It seemed he was always bringing Ryou down. The other felt like he had to be worried...after all...this was Bakura.

With a small frown he looked back over to Malik and Yami curiously. "Go to Egypt? You're kidding right?" He finally spoke up. Going to Egypt? Now? What if his father came home. It was bad enough already, the house anyways. If he had to come home to this mess AND find Ryou gone...it would be the end of him. "Are you seriously going to beleive this...thing...and do whatever he says?"

Another long pause and he looked away. "This is obviously just a dream." He said to himself.

Malik frowned, wondering what the pharaoh had meant by 'owed him'. He wasn't sure that he wanted to know.
But the Egyptian was surprised to hear Ryou, of all people, protest. "I would have thought your yami being torn apart by something would have been enough." The frown finally disappeared as he saw a good opportunity. The teen crept over to Ryou, curling his arms around Ryou's neck. "If this is a dream, I'm straight!"

Bakura's eyes flickered a few seconds, before the tomb robber barely suppressed a moan. "Oh ra...my side hurts like hell.." He whispered, before slowly pushing himself into a sitting position. One of his hands slid over to where the thing had ripped him open. Finally he lifted his head, and the first thing he saw was Malik cuddling his hikari. Bakura hissed irritably. "Get a room, you two." He hadn't noticed Yami Yugi yet.
(Lunar, post whenever you get a chance! biggrin )

Yami didn't say a word, although he nearly jumped when he heard Bakura's voice. He bit his lip lightly, afraid to speak up. There were still a million things he had to do, although he was shocked by Ryou protesting as well. Now how long would it be until the tomb robber saw him?
PostPosted: Sun Oct 08, 2006 5:56 pm

Ryou looked to Malik confusedly before freezing when he put his arms around Ryou's neck. He paused nervously and was about to say something before he heard Bakura's voice and he turned around in the other teen's hold.

Relief swept over him and he let out a sigh. "Thank god..." he mumured under his breath and blushed some when he said to get a room. Why was everyone teasing him. He said nothing however and smiled to the other. "I'm glad you're up...I...was worried." he said quickly and looked to Bakura's side making sure it was completely healed.

It was then he realized his side still hurt incredibly too. With all this worrying and confusion, he had almost forgotten about the pain...which was a good thing, until now. Keeping a straight face so no one knew he was hurting too he casted a glance over to Yami, hoping nothing was about to break about between the two...

(Holy shiet! J-Chan! YOUR NAME! Scared the crap out of me. Haha..)
Bakura gave Ryou a quizzical glance, followed his eyes..
And about went unconscious again.
"PHARAOH!?" The tomb robber screeched hoarsely, obviously very, very shocked. "Why the hell can't you just stay dead!"

Malik glared at the more crude of the two white-haired males in the room. "Like you have room to talk. You were dead too, remember?"
Bakura turned back to the other Egyptian, matching the younger's glare. "No, actually I don't. I wonder why? Oh, wait, I know why!" He didn't finish the sentence, but instead narrowed his eyes further before turning back to Yami Yugi. "So what's your excuse this time?" His voice seemed to be dripping something- Hatred? Sarcasm? It obviously wasn't a good emotion.
