Charade gave a small smile. "Finally, the sleeping girl awakes."
She looked at Eadion. She could sense his sadness while he talked about his young sister.
Maybe things are finally going to get interesting, she thought.

Artemis finished writing his toppings. Let's see, he thought, I have bacon, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, teriyaki sauce, barbeque sauce, ranch, pepperonis, cheese, and hamburger.
"Hey, is there a diner around here? I'm starving."
Artemis put the pencil and paper back, then pulled his laptop out. His expression turned from joyous to serious
"Ok, lets get to business. Lily, here is my laptop."

Lily shook her head, trying to wake up. A daze had settled over her. All the Travelers were here, in her house. Something... clicked at that moment. Even though some had passed on, with everyone sitting around talking, it seemed that this was the way things were meant to be, with everyone here together. Someone said something, breaking the trance.
"What? Oh, yeah, there is a diner just down the road. But, I bought some groceries," she said, hefting a bag in her hand. "You want a cheeseburger?" she asked. She pulled a small pack out of the bag. "I bought some. I need comfort food, after the past few days. Or, I guess it'd be years, at least here on Third Earth, wouldn't it?"
((Sorry I've been gone. Bogged down with homework, not to mention writers block. 2 major projects to do tomorrow! gonk But we saw Midsummer's night dream in english yesterday, and man was it awesome! Sorry, you guys really dont' care about my life, do you?))

Ilandere looked up to Charade and smiled weakly. She vaguely remembered her, but would get an introduction later. She looked around to see a lot of people. Izzy, Charade, Lily, Artemis, and Christopher were all there. Where had Christopher come from? The last time Ilandere saw him was on Cloral. That seemed like an eternity ago.
She looked up to see another unfamiliar face. He was not dressed like the rest of them, in the Third Earth attire, but instead was clad in an animal skin of sorts. She looked at him with skeptical eyes, knowing that she couldn’t trust anyone until she was positive they were on her side.

Eadoin was beginning to feel alone. He still had no idea what was going on, why he was there, and what the heck was a cheeseburger? He stepped into a corner and just watched from a distance. This was his way and everyone who knew him knew this. His little sister often called him a wallflower.
He smiled at this thought and leaned against the wall. When Lily cam in he shrank back a little more, figuring the faster they could figure out what they were doing, the sooner he could get some answers. He was suddenly aware of eyes on him and he looked down to where Ilandere was.
It was her who was watching him. He looked her back in the eyes, seeing her unease.
“Are you alright Ahn—” He began, but stopped nearly saying his little sister’s name, “Oh, I’m sorry.”

Ilandere looked at him curiously.
“Ahnah?” she said, making a guess at the completion of the name, “My name is Ilandere.”
Eadoin nodded embarrassedly.
“Yes.” He said, “I know. I’m sorry, Ilandere. My name is Eadoin. Are you alright?”
“I don’t know . . .” she said glancing to her shoulder, “Izzy, do you think it’s getting better?”

Devon yawned and rubbed his eyes after staring at the screens for two straight shifts. He slowly got up out of the chair and left. Fortunately seconds before he left, the jump he was monitoring ended. He went to a jump room in the pyramid and fell asleep on the table. Hours later he woke up to find a note on his face.
"What the? What's this?"
He pulls the note off his face and reads it. The senior phader wished to speak with him. He got up and went to the area where the senior phader usually is.
"Can I hekp you?"
The senior phader gave him a message saying that the "old man" wanted to see him, so Devon thanked them and left for the sewer. He slipped down into the pipe and wandered until he reached the flume he has only seen. Strangely enough another note was on the craggy rock. It read that he was needed in a territory called Third Earth. He took a deep breath.
"THIRD EARTH!"
Then he was swept off his feet and transported through time and space in a flurry of musical notes.
