The water was perfect, not too hot or not too cold. Well, he thought so at least. A native person to Lavaridge might not be so comfertable. He slowly slid himself into the empty tub, easing himself in with his arms outstreched. "Just as nice as I remember." He said to himself, as he closed his eyes.
Nitro sat by the edge of the pool and dipped his legs in like he always did. "Sometimes being a fire type is a curse." He chuckled to himself.

"I suppose stuffing people into a doll house would be a lot less cheaper than prison in the long run." Kasiya laughed, looking on the bright side of things as usual. She groaned, and set Adamantine on the ground. She gave a wide yawn, looking around in the bright sunlight.
"Lar?" she asked, walking up to Regal and studying him curiously.

Mitsu eased herself in as well. The water being a bit too hot for her liking. "I can see why they call them hot spring now." Mitsu said chuckling.
Karri floated by the edge not sure if she wanted to take a dip or not.

Imprisoning people in doll houses? Murder? Mayhem? What have I gotten myself into, Keegan thought, pretending to be interested in the passing cars. He turned back to see the impressive looking Slowking by Sabrina's side, as well as Kassie's little Larvitar, who seemed to be enjoying the company of another Pokemon. He watched the two, not really sure of how to react to the whole situation.

Mitsu looked cute as a button in her swim suit, but Mike didn't want to state the obvious at this moment. "Yup," He replied, closing his eyes again and sliding back. "I used to go her everyday before I started my journey." He glanced over to his Pokemon, who was kicking his legs in and out of the water.

"Is that so?" Mitsu finally relaxing a bit. "So who's first to take Flannery on?" Mitsu asked already eager for her match. Karri fiddled around with the warm water.

Sabrina smiled and chuckled a little at Kasiya's comment, while Regal tilted his head to the side a little.
A few minutes later, Nina walked out of the Pokemon Center, with Anna, her Misdreavus, floating near her head. Mihoshi was walking at her right side, much more energetic after having been healed. Nina was stretching her arms a bit and approached Kasiya and her sister again.
"Well," Nina said, "I think that I'm gonna head to New Bark Town. I called Professor Elm from inside of the Center, and asked him if I could get a replacement Pokenav. He said that it'd be fine, as long as I head over soon, because he's going to be busy working on research of some new Pokemon species."
Sabrina nodded. "Alright," she responded, "and would you mind getting one for me as well?" Sabrina handed her damaged Pokenav to her sister.
Nina replied, "Of course, that's not a problem. I'll be back in an hour or so." She looked to Mihoshi, and the energetic Togetic fluttered upwards while Nina grabbed hold of it. A few seconds later, Mihoshi took flight, taking Nina with her, and Anna was flying after them.

"Bye," Kasiya waved, watching Nina and Mihoshi fly off into the distance. "That reminds me," Kasiya said, looking at her watch. "Here we are in Goldenrod City, nowhere near where I need to be." She turned to Keegan and smiled. "You're awfully quiet," she said, poking him gently in the side, careful to avoid his arm.

"Hmmm," Keegan murmured, realizing someone was speaking to him. "Yes, that's lovely. I mean you're lovely! I mean, uh, hello." He grinned, pretending like he hadn't said anything. "I was just staring of into space," he added, straightening himself up. "Were you saying something?"

"Well, seeing as you went first last time, I think I'll take a shot at her." Mike said, his heart jumping a bit at the thought of battling her.

The flying time from Goldenrod City to New Bark Town seemed almost nonexistant. Even though Mihoshi was a small Pokemon, its ability to fly was rather extraordinary. Nina landed in the town, and Togetic fluttered beside her.
So, explain to me again what this Pokenav thing is, Anna asked. Nina rolled her eyes and kind of chuckled. "It's like a portable computer, in a sense," she began. "It says how many badges you own, it has a town map, it functions as a telephone... Things like that." Anna blinked. You humans and your technology, the Misdreavus replied. Nina smiled a little and started to walk to the professor's lab. Mihoshi didn't seem deprived of her energy yet, and fluttered about as Nina reached the lab's doors, and entered.
"Professor Elm!" she called, as she saw him working at a desk with a computer. "Ah, Nina!" he said. "How are you?" "I'm not too bad, professor, and yourself? "I'm actually rather well," the professor responded, before he spun around in his chair and rummaged through a desk drawer. "Hold on just a minute, Nina," he said, "I've got your Pokenavs here somewhere... Aha!" Professor Elm said, holding up two Pokenavs. "Now, I understand that you've registered some of your friends' Pokenav numbers. If you list them off to me, I can reprogram them into this Pokenav." He connected one of the Pokenavs to the computer with a cable.
Nina listed off several numbers, and the professor typed frantically. When the professor had finished typing, the computer made a *DING-DONG!* noise, and he removed the wire from the Pokenav. "And I know Sabrina had some numbers registered into her Pokenav too," Nina said, "but I don't know them all. If you could just put in the ones that I told you, I'm sure that'd be fine, and then she'd just be able to re-register her friends' numbers manually."
The professor did so, and there was another *DING-DONG!* noise a few moments later. He handed Nina both Pokenavs, and said, "I'll take your damaged ones, if that's alright. I may be able to use their parts for something." Nina handed the broken Pokenavs over, and thanked the professor for his time. She turned to walk out, but stopped herself, and turned back around. "Professor?" she asked. "Yes, Nina, what is it?" Nina reapproached the professor. "I was just curious," she said, "what kind of research are you doing?" "It's research on completely new Pokemon species," Professor Elm replied. He nodded in the direction of the computer he was working at. "These have been recently discovered in a new land. We are sure that there are many more different species, but so far these nine are the only ones we know of." He showed Nina pictures of Pokemon named Munchlax, Bonsly, Weavile, Mime Jr., Manafi, Perappu, Buizeru, Tamanta, and Lucario.
"Wait a minute," Nina said. "Weavile looks like Sneasel... Could Sneasel evolve into that? And Mime Jr.-- well, that's got to be Mr. Mime's pre-evolutionary stage!" "Yes, Nina, you're correct-- although, the Pokemon that are indiginous to this region cannot evolve into or from those Pokemon. While they may be of the same lineage, their evolution varies from region to region... It's a little hard to explain." Nina kind of shrugged it off. "I think I understand what you're trying to say, Professor." She was quiet for a moment. "Anyway. I should probably be going-- I told Sabrina and my friend Kasiya I wouldn't be gone for too long." Professor Elm nodded and said he understood, and Nina left the laboratory.
She stepped outside, and it was evident that Mihoshi was ready to leave. "Just a moment, Mihoshi," Nina said, putting the Pokenavs in her pockets. She then grabbed ahold of her Pokemon, who flew off back toward Goldenrod City...

"We're off to Celadon City," Kasiya said brightly, striking a victory pose. Adamantine cheered, and mimicked her trainer, jumping up and down when it was over. "Aw, you're too cute," Kasiya cooed, bending down to cuddle with her Larvitar. Even though she was only about a day old, Kasiya could see she was growing. She weighed easily 2 or 3 times what she did at first, and was now getting hard to carry. "I wonder what she'll evolve into?" she asked idly, giving Adamantine a tickle.

"You mean you don't know what Larvitar evolves into?" Keegan gasped, also reaching down to give the little Larvitar some affection. "Well, are you in for a treat. This little cutie someday could become a mighty Tyranitar," he said matter-of-factly. "Powerful. Fearsome. Big." He grinned, having seen a few of the parent T-tars and their young back home.
