Oh. My. Gosh.
We have the awesomest song in the history of songs. It's called Spiritual Planet. We get to do bells up in a few parts (which my BD has never made us do), there's rips, there's come bending, and there are some pretty sweet parts in the second movement that we have with the trumpets that I can't wait to play. We've had it for two days and I'm already in love with it.
I had to get that out.

so I need advice. Say the band I'm in is playing a horn feature piece and there are some alto saxes that KEEP PLAYING the horn cues. Even if there are 4 horns on the part. What do I do?

My advice is to ask them to stop playing the cues, and if they don't, I say go to the director. Your BD will really be the only person who can stop them. I had a problem last year with a fourth Horn who had an extra first Horn part and was playing it instead of her part. Eventually, I went to my BD, and it was all fixed.

Sorry for being away for so long. Work and such has been calling. School has been a bit vicious as well. Our student teacher left this past week. Our first spring concert went well too. We're back to practicing for the real spring concert and our Canada trip. Hope everyone is well!
