".. Actually.." The man's grin widened and showed his yellow-ish teeth. "That's pretty much the truth, kiddo'. I did die. Twice." Karthan let out a small howl of laughter as he refocused his eyes on the teenager. His eyes kept on Kazuki, rather expectantly, as if waiting for the teenager to make some declaration or move. Karthan shifted his shoulders and hips into an arrogant pose-- awaiting for the bender to do what was threatened.

Kazuki got grossed out of the teeth "Dude, two words....tooth brush." Kazuki said covering his mouth from the putreted smell. "Do you have a reason for being here, I know you did not come to the freezing north pole to have conversation with a Grand Cardinal." Kazuki said just want to make himself seem simi important. He was also geting tired of being called a kid. "Look sir, I am tired of you calling me a kid I am having a long and horrible week so before I take my anger out on you I advice you to leave." Kazuki said as his eyes keep showing his emotions. He tried to hide most of them, as for the fear of the dead and the man talking about his mother.
{I g2g finnish latter must sleep for work tomorrow I will be home aroud 5 or 6pm EST}

A small cackle came from the man. The laughter was high pitched, quite alike to a piece of metal rasping against a chalk board. "I thought it was obvious why I came here." A wink came from his right eye as he looked on at the boy. Another crackle of his hideous laughter burst from his mouth.
His comments about Kazuki's mother had sparked something. Something inside the teenager seemed to have been prodded into awakening by the man's insults to him and by the references to his mother. It was well bottled, too.. It'd be the perfect weapon to provoke the little twirp. Or, as the unlikely event might be, his small bit of lunacy might be completely off. Who knows? The human mind is one of the weirder things in the universe. "I am your mother, Kaka-chan," he began again as he pressed his hands to his bony hips.
"Don't you recognize me?"

After a tiring session for the day, Shinzou began walking back through the village alone.
As he turned down a side street and moved down through the dark
ally-way to the coast, where he decided he'd walk by the shore.
In the distance he saw two figures talking, he was much to far away to tell anything about them, only that there was two. He almost turned and went another way but then decided he'd just keep walking passed, he had every right to be there.

Kazuki grew a vein in the side of his head and clinched his right fist. "Don't screw with me." he yelled as he lifted his right hand into the air and then then left one towards the man. The snow from the building turned into water then shot foward towards the man in the form of a whip. The end of the water went into Kazuki's right hand.

The assassin shifted his left foot aback and allowed the younger fighter's attack to pass him by. "Ah," he said. "I seem to have hit an emotional spot, haven't I, Kaka?" He brought up his hands and slid them through the thick black hair that adorned his skull. His thin, sickly finger swept to the pigtail that was behind his head, undid it, then let the hair fall down to his shoulders. "Shall we talk about your mother?.."

Kazuki's eyes widden "What do you know!" he yelled Kazuki kneels and places on hand on the ground, he then holds one hand in front of his chest palm facing the left. The water in the ground starts to fly out of the ground like geysers then freeze. He creates pillars of ice crystals which home in on the opponent and tried to trap him into ice.

The elder fighter slid his foot back into place and brought his right hand up. As his opponent's ice spears sped toward him the assassin flicked his wrist--breaking the pillars in half as they came to him. As the bended weapons broke Karthan slowly began to walk forward, kicking over the shattered toys. He'd continue to walk forward and toss his opponent's toys aside, awaiting for Kazuki's to make a more intelligent response.

Kazuki looked over his opponent. "Now, here is my chance." He said thinking of a new deadly move, he leaped off the ground and raised both arms into the air and the broken ice shards shot for the elderly man. Kazuki then landed on the edge of the building. He calmed himself and then prepaired for his next attack. Moving his arms left and right upwards and then down. The snow around the man began to spin around rapidly on the roof top. The snow was spinning at a rapid speed, it was slowly slicing through the roof, but fast enough for if Kazuki's first attack missed the weight of the man would force the roof area under him to fall.
Kazuki stood their glaring at him. "What is this guy...there is no way a regular bender could slice through ice like that." Kazuki slowly started to take a look at the man and the ice. "Burn marks.....did he melt the ice with just chi, and make it look like it was slashed through? Looks like I am in for it, I am going to have to bring out my bag of tricks." Kazuki said as he slowly drawn his sword and then held it at the ready. "Ok, all I need to do is focus, on the snow and water into my weapon if I do taht I should be able to slice through whatever he sends at me. But if that does not work I have to use him as a training dummy for that technique I was learning how to use." Kazuki thought watching the man.

Karthan twisted around and shifted his elbows away from their resting position. Quickly he leaped up and began to defend against the fallen shards. Within a second he began to spin and smash the incoming pieces of ice with a blurry flurry of kicks, punches, and elbowing. After another moment in the air his feet touched down on the icy roof once more. "Ah," the robed man said as the snow began to circle around him. His view from the mouth of the whirlwind covered the fifteen year old bender, and soon blocked the teenager's comrade.
"Are you sure you don't want to talk?" he called out, still possessing his ghastly smirk.

"What is it you want to speak about. Your currently on my little boiling point. I have other things to worry about an example would be getting revenge on some people and then killing the ones who betrayed me." Kazuki said as he leaped into the air and focused his energy in his right hand pulling his hand into the air some of the shards flew into the air with some snow and then covered the blade. Kazuki then took a clean swipe downwards.
The snow covered the tack of the ice as it flew into the wirlwind of snow. Kazuki then landed on then gound and sheathed his sword. "I want answers first. Who are you and what do you want with me?" Kazuki asked as he stoped his attacks by holding both hands towards the location of the elderly man. The snow stopped spining and then the ice shards stoped in front of the man.

As he slowly walked closer to the figures, Shinzou relaised they were fighting fiercely with each other, both seemed powerful..
He jumped behind the corner of the closest building, sure he hadn't been seen. He poked his head out from behind to watch the battle unfold..
Although he hadn't met either of the two peopel fighting, there seemed something strange about the taller, older one, something not quite right..

"What do I want with you?.. You were the one who chose to run over here, threaten me and then attack me." Karthan's smile kept on his face as he spoke to the water bender. ".. So I'd like to ask you why you chose this poor, unfortunate traveller to attack." The black bags beneath the cloaked man's eyes twitched slightly, adding to the already odd 'feel' that normally flew around him.
His right eye, leaving behind his left eye, went to his right to look upon a new person. After a moment the eye returned back to normal. Karthan's gaze returned to look at the Kazuki, of whom he still had to answer. "If you don't know who I am.. Then you haven't been looking into the crime in this city hard enough. I believe there have been some rumours about me.."

Shin watched the two figures from his hiding place. All of a sudden, he saw the older man stop suddenly, and Shin felt an uncomfortable
chill.
That's it, Im outta here he thought to himself and he prepared himself and began jogging away down the alley quietly, trying to
get away without being noticed.

Kazuki smiled "I'm sorry about that, well I have been having a little extra stress and you were the first one that looked like a good target to fight. Other then that I think I know who you are. If I am not wrong your the guy who killed all those people in the Earth Kingdom and set fire to the supplies which makes you a Fire Bender." Kazuki said bowing as in respect and appology.
"Please forgive me for attacking you. But I may ask you a huge favor." Kazuki said bending back up.
