Sano Gallen  Sano smirked to himself as he gazed at the crumpled bodies of rogue app users. It felt great to have the trust of the JPs to do this and not be run out of town for it. Not to mention they all had to be thankful he eliminated their Megrez problem. He was about to go look for more people to snuff out when his phone made a sound. "A friend's death video has been uploaded!" When he looked at the screen, an unfamiliar face was shown to him. This sorry sack was in Iwatodai. Touma Makushima, the Heartbeat of Nyx
"It's all about working hard and livin' it up. So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"Day Five of the apocalypse and Touma was out in the city early; following up yesterday's battle against Megrez, after the work he had done to locate the main body of the Septentrione, he needed a little while to unwind out in the streets. That battle had been crazy, but that smart-a** who had busted in at the last minute, much as he hated to admit it, had been invaluable in making sure that they came out on top. Without him...he hated to admit that he couldn't have beaten the thing alone. And after all of the near-deaths the last few days had given him, all of the ill luck, he had to deal with the fact that he couldn't handle this descending world on his own. It was impossible...and that required an opportunity to let off some steam. But as he made his way into the downtown area, something dropped from the sky not far from him...a red and violet bud that almost looked like a malformed Hershey's Kiss candy.
..."Another bud?" he observed, stepping closer with his demon, Peri, out before him as a safety measure, "You're the next one, huh? Well come on the-what?!" Suddenly there was an explosion and the bud self-destructed...his demon out before him choking! Crumbling to a knee...it was a poison! s**t! He didn't know if anybody was near, but that was all the warning he could afford to give them. He had to run...s**t, not again!  Idiot, idiot, idiot! How could he just go out on his own like that!? They had been living in this Apocalyptic world for six days now... he surely had to know that going off by yourself was completely dangerous and reckless!? Just the thought upset her. If he were to die... ugh! The white haired girl clicked on her phone angrily, muttering under her breath. She needed to distract herself somehow... and well...getting stronger wasn't bad either. Specially after the day before. She realized she wasn't strong. If anything... she was a burden for Touma. He was always protecting her... telling her to run as he took care of things. Putting himself in danger.
Perhaps that was why he had gone on his own today...
Luvia frowned.

Nix Gallen Nix decided that she needed to find out all she could about Alioth. It was a large beast that needed to be dealt with but there was a problem. It was massive and all people could see where the 'legs'. So the silverette headed into the sad remains of Junes, looking for some equipment she would need. While she was searching, Daichi came by and lent a hand to acquire what she needed. What she ended up with was a notebook, pencils, binoculars, maps, and a compass.. also a few snacks. She thanked the man for his help before setting off into town, looking for a good view of the Alioth limb to try and see if her theory was correct.. Quote: Acquired 10 tokens! This is what she meant... Wandering off on your own was dangerous. The white haired artist hadn't walked too far after that, that a huge bud crashed into the Earth. Luvia jumped back, startled... knowing the thing would most probably start attacking soon. Eyes narrowed when it remained motionless... her head tilting to the side. "They are different from the ones yesterday... Just what are yo-?!" The thing exploded... and some kind of gas was released into the air. Out of reflex, she covered her mouth and nose with her sweater... and her Leane Sidhe pushed her out of the way before it choked and dissolved back into her phone.
That had been close...
She had no time to waste, though. She couldn't stay there and breathe that toxic gas.

She needed to find more about these things. The Septentriones were getting more dangerous each day... Deadlier. It was as it planned on taking out as many people as they could with each passing day. The white haired girl bit her lip, her grayish blue eyes searching for familiar faces... or any sign of any more of those 'buds'. She needed to find Touma... warn him about those things...if he hadn't encounter one on his own. Hopefully...he wouldn't do anything reckless.
... As if.

It was clearing out a swarm of demons to open up a route for people to take to safety. It was vital to maintain safe passages so that innocents could reach shelter. Once that was taken care of, the silverette directed her gaze skyward. High above them all seemed like a red and black wall but it was Alioth. "I just need to see where all the legs converge at.." Her gaze fell on the massive figure on the sky... and she could feel the dread taking over her. How were they suppose to defeat that thing if they couldn't even reach it? There had to be a way... but... how? They needed a long ranged weapon, but... what? A missile? a bomb? A space rocket? She needed to think more of it... Perhaps Touma had some idea.

Perhaps the JPs would have more information. What the girl hadn't expected was that the soldiers wouldn't give her any kind of intel on what they knew about the huge thing in the sky. As much as she threatened, plead, kicked or bit... they wouldn't give in. Tch... They wouldn't have said no to Touma.
Still, she warned anyone she found about the buds. As soon as they see one of those... running as far as they could was the only option. How far could the toxin spread, though? How could she really know if the people were safe? Her fingers curled...tightening around her phone.

Luvia tensed at the sound of her name in that tone, and turned around to face Sako. She knew that look by now, and she didn't have the guts Touma did to just ignore the woman. Instead, she just stayed in her place as the woman with short dark hair scolded her for her imprudence. "You two should know by now not to go downtown by yourselves...it's too dangerous. I worry about you two..."
The artist looked down, and it was enough for the JP woman to know something wasn't entirely right. "He isn't with you, is he?" An exasperated sigh escaped her lips, and Luvia couldn't do anything but to give her a wry smile. "I was hoping you'd know where he had gone... I just hope he's alright. There are gas-releasing buds out there." The artist chewed her cheek as she pondered asking Sako about the JP plans. "Hey... that thing in the sky... Do you have any plan to bring it down?"
"The Chief is working on it as we speak." There was no more to the answer... and before Luvia could dig deeper, the JP officer had turned, walking away. A last wave was sent her way "Just be careful..."

Luvia hoped that the JP would come up with a solution soon. She couldn't keep her gaze away from the sky... the blue completely blocked by the enormous threat looming closer. It was then that she heard a loud hissing noise...second before one of the buds crashed close to her. She looked her surroundings...the shelter just ahead. "Oh, hell no! Not this time!" She flipped open her phone, both her demons coming out, attacking the bud.
It was satisfying...and relieving... to see the thing dissolve into thin air. At least you could defeat them, if you get to them in time. Those were good news.

"What do you mean dance for Shiva!?" She had just left the base... why couldn't Sako told her this before?! But no... she had been all secretive and dark. And now these people were telling her she needed to dance for some demon to convince it to throw an arrow at the Septentrione? That... didn't make any sense! Did it? Was the arrow powerful enough to actually defeat that monster?
Luvia fiddled with her sleeves of her sweater, turning her gaze around the Terminal. There was no one there she knew, so maybe... maybe she could do it without dying of embarrassment? A sigh escaped her lips. If it was necessary to kill Alioth, then... the white haired artist didn't have any choice.
She felt really awkward... even if she wasn't a lousy dancer and she loved moving in the dancing floor in clubs back before all this...this wasn't the right place or time to actually be doing such things. It felt...wrong?
Luckily...there was no one watching.
