Gods yes. I am mainly a gamer and comic nerd, though I do know everything else. Quotes from Thursday with my girlfriend:
Amanda: I was reading an odd Star Wars fan fiction the other day. Took place in the Old Republic at the Jedi trainning grounds. They had this blue skinned human-like guy being an uptight jerk. Never heard of that race before.
Xander/Sam: Did he have red eyes that glowed?
Amanda: Yeah....
Xander/Sam: He was a Chiss. And the fic is totally incorrect, as the Chiss weren't even discovered until almost ten years after the movies. They live out side the 'known' galaxy, and are REALLY introverted. They won't even attack a known threat, but mearly wait for it then counter-attack.

PowerDVD if I must use my computer for DVD's. I normally use my XBox, cause I don't feel like spending money for a player. Windows Media for normal videos and the like, and Quick Time for everything that doesn't work for that.
