(recap! Power is back on, Sweet freak is in a cage in front of the barricade. A cure was made. Caedere and Prince have been cured thanks to batty. The basement is now cleared out thanks to Xashowd. Lady and Minty got the power back on. Sweet summoned an army of grunnies to her, which Xashowd killed while going beserk. It also summoned Cree, who is in the safe room now with the effects of the cure just kicking in)

"Xashowd? How many times have you heard the 'Gazuntite' joke after you introduce yourself?" Minty joked as she walked towards Scirius's van, poking around in his coolers for blood bags, "I've been going by Minty as of late. Nice to officially meet you!"
*Quick Note: The S and H are separate in the pronunciation of Xashowd's name (Zas-howd). Love the joke, though cat_blaugh*
Xashowd raised an eyebrow at that one. "Actually...you'd be the first." Xashowd replied as he walked over to her. "It's nice to officially meet you as well." He smiled, though the action caused him some discomfort due to pain.

The headless figure approaches the safe Haven swinging his axe at the Grunnies. Where on Earth did Cree go? he thought to himself as he searched for his sister. ((OOC: Just joined the event and has no idea where to start))

Xashowd smiled. "You know, I'm starting to wonder why my friend Darxian never made that joke...he doesn't emote much, but he's a wizard at deadpan wisecracks." He replied while gratefully accepting the blood bags. Right now, it didn't matter where they came from, his nose told him they were edible, so Xashowd clamped his fangs down on them, draining the blood like a living vacuum cleaner. In a matter of seconds the bags were completely empty and Xashowd's thirst was sated at last. His fangs retracted to their normal size, and he felt better than he had in days. "Thanks! I've gotta start remembering to pack a thermos with Watermelon or something for long trips..." Xashowd commented aloud as he found a small trash can to throw the bags away in. "We should probably head back inside now. I'll be good to go for a month or so." He said as he hopped out of the van.

Daenes had continued to hang back during all the shenanigans, simply watching what was happening. Her gaze snaps towards the safe rooms door when she faintly hears Gypsy through it, taking a step forward before stopping herself. Showing herself to the other eld in her current gory state would likely be a bad idea...
Monster had curled up asleep in the corner of the safe haven after helping Minty get the white lady into the cage and was finally beginning to stir again. His body was finally recovering and he was starting to feel his normal strength, though he'd really need a bath after all this. He blinked his eyes as he adjusted to the light... Hey, the power's back! He sat up and stretched, surveying the room to take in the changes that occurred in his sleep.

"You go ahead, I'm going to hang back for a bit. I definitely got bit. I ate a bonbon before coming outside, but I'm not sure if you can do that before grombification or not." She knocked on the safe house door, "Kt? Everything's fine out here. There's one more coming in, but I'm gonna stay out here and see if I can get the white lady to eat a bonbon somehow."
Turning to Xashowd, she lowered her voice, "Do me a favor and don't mention the real reason to them? I don't want them to worry."

Cae opened her eyes groggily. She'd been having some horrible dream about a banshee screeching at her incessantly, like one of those obnoxious mosquito ringtones crossed with fingernails on a chalkboard. At least she felt a bit better now, as far as pain went. The soreness wasn't as bad, and her body was adjusting well to suddenly being alive again.
She sat up and took in her surroundings. So many people were there, some in better shape than others. And Xavier was among them! It wouldn't be quite accurate to say Cae was upset about attacking her brother, or even that she was concerned in the same way most people would be, but it was nice to see him alive.

(I've been using the excuse that everyones mentally/physically exhausted by the pace of everything. Zombie apocalypse! All the stages in less than a week 3nodding )
