"I prefer Revelations....Where they discuss the end of the world in excruciating detail." Amnity smiled sadistically, flipping to her favorite part in the bible. Maybe Mephlius didn't want to listen...Which is good because she wanted to scare Kuro with this certain passage in the bible.
".....Then I watched while the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice of thunder, "Come out!" I looked, and before my eyes was a white horse. Its rider carried a bow, and he was given a crown. He rode out conquering and bent on conquest. Then, when the Lamb broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature, cry, "Come out!" And another horse came forth, red in colour. Its rider was given power to deprive the earth of peace, so that men should kill each other. A huge sword was put into his hand. When the Lamb broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come out!" I looked again and there before my eyes was a black horse. Its rider had a pair of scales in his hand, and I heard a voice which seemed to come from the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a shilling, and three quarts of barley for a shilling but no tampering with the oil or the wine!" Then, when he broke the fourth seal I heard the voice of the fourth living creature cry, "Come out!" Again I looked, and there appeared a horse sickly green in colour. The name of its rider was death, and the grave followed close behind him. A quarter of the earth was put into their power, to kill with the sword, by famine, by violence, and through the wild beasts of the earth." Amnity read the passage with passion and fire, as if she were a priestess talking to a whole cathedral of holy people.

"Ah, the four horseman. Now that`s just ridiculous... no one rides horses anymore. And if you planned on scaring me, it might be a little harder. For one, the bible isn`t meant to be taken word for word, it`s all symbolic, expecially revelations. This individual passage tells how humanity itself will end itself, the four main factors being: the pursuit of glory, war, famine, and death. All caused by humanity`s nature." He smiled, maybe suprising her with what he knew. "And if this does literally happened, you can gloat all you want."

Mephlius chuckled. "This is an impossible argument. By the time we find out how the apocalyse will happen... there'll be bigger things to worry about." He said, while bench pressing.

"Either way, symbolic or not, it tells the same fate for those who did not enter Heaven...Ah, here we go!" Amnity flipped a couple of more pages and cleared her throat.
"When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I could see, beneath the altar, the souls of those martyrs who had been killed for the sake of the Word of God and because of the faithfulness of their witness. They cried out in a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to be patient a little longer, until the number of their fellow-servants and of their brethren, who were to die as they had died, should be complete." Amnity looked over at Kuro, a martyrs himself. She grinned, waiting to see his reaction. She wasn't trying to scare him...She just wanted to see...

"Hm, well, I can`t say I haven`t contemplated what would happen to me on the final day, seeing as I plan to live that long." He continued to think to himself, "I would suppose if I currently don`t have a sould, it would rise and take on a form while this one rotted away. If I do have a soul now, I suppose I would be human again." He looked really confused, as anyone would trying to guess how they are to end. "Well, your more religious then I am, so you think about that. I`m just going to relax and enjoy what life I have until that day when revelations becomes reality." he smiled, knowing that his way of life made him happy.

Mephlius would have commented, but he didn't want to add to the bad blood between himself and Kuro. Kuro had already insulted his race, and his fiancee. Now he showed a certain level of apathy about Mephlius' religion. Getting into an argument with Kuro would not have ended well for either party. He simply continued lifting his weights, silently.

"I think that you do have a soul Kuro. Your soul is still inside you, you never passed." Amnity shrugged. "Your soul is still inside you...You're just in a dead body."
The hunter licked her finger before flipping the page of the bible, then she turned to the next page. "And I'm actually envious of you Kuro.....I want to be alive on the final day...It's every religious person's dream to be in the presence of God. I'd gladly endure the Apocalypse and Armageddon just to see him." It sounded crazy, but hey, so was most the bible. She wasn't mad at Kuro...As long as he didn't say he was an atheist, Amnity won't try to rip his neck out.

"Ha, caught you. You said i`m in a dead body, yet you envy the fact i`ll be alive on the last day. I`ll be dead like everyone else, i`m just cheating the definition of dead." He smiled, seeing another advantage of being a vampire

Mephlius chuckled. "Hey Kuro... I'm genuinely curious. What's it like being dead?"

Amnity raised an eyebrow, then chuckled a big as she looked back at her bible. "And the elements shall be destroyed by fire...." She looked back at Kuro in fake pain. "Ouch....That won't be good for you now would it? That's another reason why I love God...He has a sense of humor."

"It`s like life, no one word can describe it. I hate having to drink blood though." He thought about what to add, sitting down in a nearby chair as he did. "You don`t have to eat, you don`t have to sleep, your day is shortened to just the night, you don`t age, you don`t change. Well, it`s actually really boring, I kinda wish I was human again, even if it means giving up immortality."

Amnity closed the bible and tucked it safely in her jacket pocket. She thought about what Kuro said...About wanting to be human again. That made her think more about becoming a lycan....Will I ever have times where I want to be human again?... The words that Mephlius said struck her as well. There would be no turning back... She sighed, combing her fingers through her hair as she kept her gaze to the floor. Her brain was hitting overdrive, trying to sort out which is better...Most of the things they're saying wasn't really helping her decide...

Kuro got up and walked over to a punching bag. He began throwing an assortment of kicks at it, each making the bag fold into itself. In between kicks he stated, "Cherish the life you have, you won`t get another one, make each decision according to your character." It wasn`t a direct quote, but it was wise words, coming from someone who deeply understood there meaning.

"I don't know, Kuro... I wouldn't trade it for a human. I mean..." Mephlius let go of the barbell with one hand, and rested it by his side, holding up the large weight with only his left hand.
