Ahh, back in my casual wear!
Here's Nero. He WAS laying his swollen belly on the heater like a hot water bottle for cramps ;u; little fatty, his belly has gone down significantly ^^ will keep feeding him peas and bloodworms for easy digestion and poopy. He's such a darling, swims up to say hello to me and loves posing for pictures despite his struggle to stay up because of his weight... it's so had seeing him bob up n down like that. ;-;

Did you know that betta fish are among the most intelligent fish out there? It is known by marine researchers that fish do indeed have complex societies. They use tools and communicate to each other in almost like a language of glubs, yelps, squeaks, and many other noises that are only detectable by machines. My fish respond to what I say. They used to go nuts and attack me whenever I would try to feed them but over time they learned when I say "no" "not yet" or "stay" and they obey me! They get excited when I compliment them.
Here is Angel, he is quite shy for a betta fish.
