Also a bump up for the Mage/Dark Knight-Tantivy question, I suppose! Mind lending an answer to this?

It's a good question that I didn't think about, and I've been talking it over with some people a little bit before school started.
A suggestion that has been brought up by multiple parties is to make certain abilities innate with unit type. I haven't dismissed that idea, but the idea in general just makes me think that those units would become OP, because, for example, give a flying unit tantivy and flight as innate skills and they now need 2 new base class skills which gives them 4 skills to start with... it can be argued that the weaknesses of the unit types could make up for it, but I'm not convinced, nor would I know what to replace the skills with.
But I'm open to discussion about it, because I do think that all mounted units should have tantivy.

Why not have Mage/Dark Knights gain tantivy and their other skill when they level. I don't think that would make the unit too powerful. Plus inheriting the weakness of a mounted unit without benefit of Tantivy, you might as well keep them as foot units then.
Otherwise I think maybe you could have them drop one of their base class skill when they advance in favor of Tantivy

Well here's the format I'm trying to keep:
2 base skills for classes, then gaining 1 skill upon promotion (or level 20 for nonpromoting units)
I could potentially make tantivy innate to the mounted and laguz unit types. (I do keep certain units a specific unit type when they class change- for instance annis is a bird laguz unit type despite not being a raven and thus gets tantivy) So many units have it anyway, so it makes it neater. That would still leave me the question of what to replace tantivy with for these units.

Technically, I shouldn't acknowledge that Rathy was talked to, because there was no bolded intent of action, and thus I'm left to assume the character is engaging in casual talk, but since you actually asked for a present and its obvious what your actual intent was, I won't be a d**k and reply with "Sure you can... once you actually talk to me first". However, plz follow da rulz plz.

I'm going to be buying a Second Seal on Kira to turn her into a Mage but I had a question. What tome does she get upon class change?
Do I just pick one basic tome of one of the three types of elements, or does she get all three?

All people who can reclass to mage will need to pick an innate element for them. I'm not separating all the elements out- they'll all be under anima- which means that a mage can use any anima tome they come upon. However, the innate element chosen will determine if you start with a wind, fire of thunder tome.

Lilith wants to, but Lilith is a very bust knight. There are far to many bad guys that need taste her axe and Lilith has been rolling very good on her movement. Poor girl hasn't even had time to open her present yet. crying
I guess Lilith will hold onto her gem and card for now in case she rolls a 2 on her movement while next to a shop. (But she probably will still kill something ninja )
