Beck blushed and rubbed the back of her head. "Well...you should know me by now..." he showed a wide smile after the statement before lowering his arm and saying in a caring voice. "But you should get to bed. You need your rest." he said and added "I have a few things that I want to talk to you about after your slumber." With that, he gave Tray a kiss on the forehead followed by a hug before leaving the courtyard and then heading towards the kitchen of the castle.

Tray simply sighed and shook her head at Beck. When he stated she should rest and then kissed her forehead she blinked adn it wasn't until he was walking away that she blushed. Looking away so no one else would notice she picked up her sword and then headed after Beck to go to the room and lay down she was exhausted after-all.Len watched them and blinked then followed suit.

He smiled at her blushing as he glanced at her over his shoulder. When they arrived in the foyer of the Castle, Beck said "Good night Tray, I'll see you in a few hours." with that he then turned towards the kitchen as the smell of food wafted through the room. The King stopped then turned towards Tray. "Unless you want some food before going to sleep." A small smile on his face.

Tray stopped at the bottom of the stairs she looked over at Beck then down. "No I...I think I should sleep first...I'm really tired..."

Beck nodded and smiled. "Okay, then I'll see you in a few hours. Good night Tray." With that, he turned and began to walk towards the kitchen as his stomach growled.

Tray watched Beck and smiled a little, it was such a reliefe to finally have him back. She looked down then headed back up the steps. She walked down the hall, double checked on the kids, they were fine so she walked into Beck's room out of habit and layed on the bed falling right to sleep.Len had watched her then followed Beck into the kitchen, he was still hungry too. "I can see what you mean" he said to the king. "That is to say I can see what you see in her."

Beck had a seat at a large table and looked at Len with a confused look, after smiling and nodding when he realized the man was talking about Tray. "Yeah...she's amazing." He said with a smile. An idea then came to mind. "Um...hey Len." he said and fished in his pocket for a second before taking out the green crystal and placing it in front of Len. "I want you to test something."

Len looked at the crystal and blinked then looked at Beck. "What...am I testing?" he asked in confusion.

"I want to see if you can use this. I've discovered if I concentrate on this, then my magick is increased exponentially." He said with a stern face and calm voice. "I'd like to see if it does the same for hexes."

Len was surprised he looked t the Crystal, hesitant to touch it just yet, he then looked back at Beck "But you know just as much Hexes a I do. Why don't you use it?"

"Exactly." responded Beck. "I can use it and so could Tyler...but that was only with Magick. I need to know if it only works with magick or with both." The King said calmly. "And I need to see if more of these crystals exist."

Len hesitantly reached over and took the crystal he gently rolled it over in his hands getting the feel of it not exactly sure what or even how to use it.

Beck slowly leaned back in his chair and replied "I personally didn't get it. A spy of mine found it when I was still considered Prince." The King then added "I believe it was something Viktor was able to use."
