  Nikolai smiled proudly to himself, remembering tricking Leon into giving him his first kiss, and right in front of that girl. Or at least her room, but he was sure she heard it all. With Leon off the couch, the Sin stretched out to take it all, much like how a pet would the entire bed for themselves. " Far better than other couples. For one, we look good. And we can buy alcohol, and that always makes everything better."

Leon Court " I shudder to remember how I looked before you fixed me up," said Leon as he lit the kindling, standing and setting his hands on his hips as he waited for the logs to catch. " And then there's how long we've lasted, against other relationships here. That's always a plus."

By then the Sin had one leg hanging off the armrest and the other on the back of the couch while his head hung upside-down. " Mmm, but not many relationships are unnatural like ours." he pointed out. " We've both died for each other, after all."

Leon CourtLeon walked over, the fire lit behind him as he reaching to touch the Russian's chin. " Is that a bad thing or a good thing, though?" he questioned, leaning down to press a kiss to the man's lips.

Nikolai kissed him back, cherishing the new angle, then smiled at the upside-down man. " I happen to think it's a good thing. How else could I say "I love you" so easily?" he grinned.

Leon Court" Speaking of, you should tell me that again," he murmured into Nikolai's lips between kisses. There was nothing he cherished more than hearing Nikolai tell him that he loved him.

" I love you." Nikolai whispered between kisses. Before they could get too intimate, however, he pulled away. " I've had a long couple of days, dearie, I don't have the energy for much." he said with an apologetic smile. With a swing of his legs he sat on the couch correctly, though his expression was still apologetic.

Leon CourtLeon nodded, sitting beside his lover and wrapping an arm around his shoulders. " That's fine. I'm alright just sitting beside you," he said, leaning close to press his lips to the side of Nikolai's head, then grabbing the remote and turning the television back on.

There were still plenty of New Years concerts being performed as well as celebrity gossip galore. At the bottom of the screen was a thin strip that mentioned a warning about a possible blizzard, but Nikolai did his best to ignore that. " So what was it like with that fake me?" Nikolai asked out of the blue. " What gave away the fact that he wasn't me? Did he use the wrong nail polish? I'm sure he did. I bet he doesn't even know Nicki Minaj's birthday."

Leon Court" Actually, he was pretty spot on until he forgot that my cousin's name is Lenny," said Leon. " By the way, he and Patty had their baby. They named him Nicholas Dean Court, partly after you, I think they said." He crossed his legs, thinking about the past few days. " Anyway, Grigori came by and pointed out that there was something wrong. That's how your disappearance first came to light. We really owe him."

" Me? I haven't the faintest idea why they'd name their child close to mine." Nikolai said, honestly surprised. Didn't they feel uncomfortable around homosexuals? Moreover, did they even know what he was? Ah well, that child now had powerful connections. The Sin's eyes sparkled again when he heard the familiar name. " Grigori? He knew all along?" he mused and looked away distantly. So he was the one who saved him...?

Leon CourtHe laughed. " It's a family tradition. We name our children after their godparents, and since Leon didn't work well with the name they wanted, they picked you as a godfather to him." He stiffened, however, at Nikolai when he said that name. He didn't mean to be jealous still, but he was. he didn't like talking about Grigori that often, but credit where it's due, he supposed.

Leon Court" Oh don't worry, all you have to do is show up at his eighteenth birthday party and give him a nice present, and take him in if his parents die," he said, taking his phone out. Someone had sent him an email, but he didn't bother to read it before putting his phone back. " I can take over the responsibility of being a godfather for you. It's not like it's hard to get a kid to like me." He smiled charmingly.

They force people to actually be productive and helpful, it's disgusting." the Sin shuddered at the thought of such brats running around his beloved home. They were like his kryptonite.
