Weaving left and right, cycling up and over his own chaser, Dominic kept his bat at bay as he swung close to his broom and ricocheted around Vanessa as she tucked the quaffle under her arm and sped off for the Gryffindor goals. His eyes were keen for berating bludgers, eyeing the opposing beaters as he swarmed past them all to maintain a close vicinity to Vanessa, but not so much so to hinder her fast swerves and cut off dives to avoid steals.
Ronyo was striking fast and hitting hard, hovering on the offense to keep the rowdy mouthed chaser from striking his nerves one too many times. Not that it truly bothered him, but it was an understood fact between both beaters that Dominic simply couldnβt resist the heartfelt pang of challenge.
Finally, Vanessa rocketed into the scoring zone and from there, Dom reared around and shot off into the sky, a bludger in his sights. It tumbled left and whirled in cycles as it charged up into the sky, and Dom followed itβs every notion until he burst past it, skidded to an abrupt halt and smacked the end of his bat into the ornery ball right at Samuel, when a bout of paranoia nearly thought that the second year seeker had actually found the snitch this early on.

She plummeted the bright blue morning skies, soaring and gliding along the winds current, hoping to find the snitch at the end of this rainbow. Cycling the field, she heard excitement well up in the crowd of red and gold, and before she knew it, time tolled on and then the announcer burst to life as Gryffindor made the first score. She bit her tongue and soared faster, searching vigilant, eyes wide and frantic. She needed to end this game, now, before it would be too late. Distracted, if only for the moment, she raced past the Gryffindor seeker, Samuel, shooting in opposite directions. The boy who hadnβt lost a game yetβ¦ Well, weβll see about that.

Sometimes you need to step back..... There was no opposition for her shot. The goals had been as empty as if there were not keeper at all. But hey, Vanessa had been using lot of trick that involved her not staying directly on track so that may have thrown him off. She cheered and turned her broom around already ready to steal as soon as gryffindor was in possession again.

Sometimes you need to step back..... Vanessa didn't waste time in catching up with Remy. She could see that the younger female wasn't all to thrilled that she had gotten a point for her team but that was how a game went rather someone liked it or not.
she pulled her broom along side the gryffindor and reached for the steal. She was going to give it her all to keep from allowing her to score it return.

Sometimes you need to step back..... A frown made it's way across Vanessa's lips as she missed the steal. It just didn't seem to be her day for that particular part of the game. She sighed and shook her head. Well, the blonde couldn't be perfect in every aspect to the game every game. The Slytherin pulled her broom upward and flew above the second year Gryffindor for a short time. Fifth Year/ Slytherin Quidditch Captain/ Beater
Quidditch Pitch/ Game With Vanessa's score things had evened out, in more ways than one. It was a sign that the Slytherin team was not going to let Gryffindor just happily fly in and win this game. They would have to work for it, push themselves harder and longer than they ever had before. By the time this game was over every muscle should be sore and every brow drenched in sweat and maybe even blood. If that be the case then the house of silver and green was ready because that had been the focus of their training from the start. A few formations and then drills, drills, and more drills, both in the sky and on the ground had been the routine workout for Ronyo's team. Now they were showing it with a good hard down and back already in the works fatigue and would begin to set in. Muscle would begin to seize up and go numb for being in one position for so long and the quick adrenaline burst would begin to wear off before they could be fired off again. Ronyo dove in and out of the line of players as he weaved in and out matching himself with Vanessa either above or below her. She was going for her steals and Ronyo was waiting for his moment to fire in and help out. Soon enough a bludger came his way and so the Captain of the Slytherin team pulled himself into a high climb then pulled harder to perform a full twist in the sky and then spin to about face and go after the bludger he saw. A turn and pull later he was at the hurtling orb and gave it a solid hit with his bat sending it towards Remy as she moved closer to their goal. Life: 1, 2, 3

Ronyo Storm - Slytherin
Fifth Year/ Slytherin Quidditch Captain/ Beater
Quidditch Pitch/ Game His shot had missed and Ronyo did not wish to take another shot towards Remy with Vanessa looking to be ready to move in once again. He also needed to change tactics seeing they had been double teaming the chaser while the other members of the Gryffindor team had been all but absent from the match. Tunnel vision had been the fall of many a army and many a team, be it war or sporting competition. With that Ronyo scanned the surrounding with his eyes looking and analyzing his surroundings. No bludgers from the lion team had come in making Dominic and Ronyo once again the two more prolific members of that group at the school. Only Remy had showed signs of life on the chasers, but that was evened out with the skill and experience from Vanessa. Up high Belle was fighting a battle with Sam, someone Ronyo had yet to truly meet but was well aware of the boy's streak in his area of play. The strong link. With that Ronyo moved out and down to find a bludger that was lazily bouncing off the ground and he gave it a moderate smack to send it up high into the air. Ronyo chased after it and began to climb higher and higher keeping pace with the bludger. They had left the normal play zone, and entered the area normal for the seekers but Ronyo needed to put the Gryffindor hot streak seeker to the test. At the height of the bludgers climb Ronyo could see it losing energy and so with a quick snap turn Ronyo flipped and slammed his bat into the bludger sending it out streaking off towards Samuel.
