Leto stopped pacing when Navi approached her. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a brief moment before reopening them and nodding to the other girl.
She knew it would be soon. But somehow, right now.... Soon just wasn't good enough.
"Not soon. Now." She grumbled as she kicked the dirt of the demolished ground beneath her feet, what was once the rainbow road.
She brushed blood and sweat-soaked hair away from her forehead as she glared past the barrier at the Senshi and Knights gathering together.
"This is bullshit. Complete and utter bullshit. We're the bad guys, and they're the ones sacrificing civilians to ******** put up a barrier? They can't even fight their own battles!" She punched the barrier a second time, forgetting in the heat of the moment the effects of it from the last time mere seconds before. <********," she screamed as she shook her hand, resonating with pain and anger.

A golden will-o-wisp floated towards Sailor Thisbe and rolled up her spine and perched atop her head, the sensation giving her warm shivers that were almost comforting.
Channel together... channel together...
She could hear it parroting her own words... and then, the ghost vanished.

If you're interested in the General's offer, I assure you that we can make good on it.She felt someone grab her, felt the impact of a fist to her middle. The crystal that she kept tucked in her ribbon pressed into her skin and she cursed breathlessly, looking up at the General as she gasped for breath. There were too many of them, as if there weren't before. They were going to take her, and everything she had been was going to be wiped away. She started to panic, started to struggle, when she heard Castor's voice- Castor! He was next to her, and gold was wrapping around her, wedging itself between the two of them and their enemies, pulling her back towards the castle. "The answer is no, Wolframite!" It was almost a wail. "Leto! You'll have to kill me. I will never betray them!" She would make them kill her first. She glanced at Leto through the barrier, eyes flickering back to Wolframite. She needed someone to fight at her side. Her limits were at their breaking point, and the youma was outside, laughing at them all. But she wouldn't- No. Scylla would do whatever it took, she just needed to know what it took. Now it was down to this- protecting the people fighting at her side. No bigger picture.

That voice.
Her voice, the voice he'd recognize among millions. "Bellatrix !" She was okay, she was fine, she...
He turned to face her, a little too quickly - the world, her face, blurred - he fell to his knees, dropping Virgo's staff.
She was okay.
It was the only thing that truly mattered, right now.

Hel slowly rose up from her spot walking towards the barrier with the other negaverse agents. She said and did nothing simply standing among the group looking like a solemn little red riding hood bathed in a wolfs blood though in all reality she was the wold in this play, just like her fellow allies.
Hephaistos continued to kneel beside Cancer breathing slowly as he adjusted to a chance to finally settle down. He wasn't squirming to avoid near death, he wasn't trying to beat a general to death, or stop a monster he was simply resting again letting the pain sink into his bones finally and try to will it away with time.
He glanced over to Gunn shrugging slightly, barely a movement with how tired he was. "It.... it had to be done." He looked down at his right arm, cracked and dried blood covered the tarnished chainmail, red skin bright and blistered under it, some spots chard slightly and fused to the metal still. A long cut where he blocked the earlier blades.
What he said next was empty, yet filled with fear when he said it, "Are we going to die like this?"

Europa held a distracted hand up to Babylon. "Hold that thought..." She'd spotted a tall, familiar senshi a few meters distant, and he was doing the bob and weave. "Babylon, could you go find my backpack in the outpost?" She shot Pasiphae and apologetic glance. "I'm sorry. I need to go take care of this - you're doing an amazing job." As much as Europa wanted to remain with her teammate, this was something she felt just as obligated to do. The eternal senshi picked her way over towards Themis, Castor, and Virgo. "Themis?" she asked worriedly, drawing close to the battered young man. He was worryingly pale - she didn't think she had anything in her bag for blood loss, and that was assuming Babylon found it. But Themis - Themis really didn't look good. "I sent someone to go find the first-aid kit," she explained. "What happened?" She'd been on a different part of the battlefield and completely missed this. It looked like he'd been run over by a zamboni, and then the zamboni had backed up and run over him again. Babylon returned, battered Jamesport slung over his shoulder. "This it, Europa?" he asked. "Yeah." She took the bag from the squire and dug through it. "Liquid stitches, sanitizing wipes, gauze - I don't know if it's safe to give you codeine right now." Not when he'd lost so much blood, even if he looked like he needed the painkillers. "Babylon, tell anyone who needs medical attention to head this way." Babylon nodded, cupped his hands to his mouth, and shouted, " HEY, WE'VE GOT A FIRST-AID KIT."

".... I don't know." He looked at Thisbe before he heard a voice over the others. It was a Zodiac!
He didn't know who it was but he knew the sound of the voice and he -knew- that what she saw saying was the right thing. Dragging the other Senshi with him he headed toward Virgo with a determined stride.
"Captain Virgo, ma'm ... I know i'm not one of your soldiers and i'm not really one of us who've got any swag but I really think we need to find a way to combine powers. I don't even know if we -can- do it but there's no way we are going to defeat that monster or the Negaverse if we keep going at it alone."
He looked at the Captain hoping that she would listen to him. "We can't fall here. We can't let them win. We all have to do this together, please." The other senshi would listen to her. Her voice could sway them to act because she knew how to lead. She'd been doing this for so long that she had to be good at it

Captain Osumilite frowned at the foul language spewing from Avalon's mouth. He was no idiot, and understood pretty clearly every word that the girl had said, and was not offended by it either. He was, however, taken back by the language.
"You shouldn't swear so much, girl," he screamed through the barrier. "It is not. Sexy. NOT. SEXY."
Because clearly being sexy was her priority. He then performed a pelvic thrust as he swung his elbows back and forth in a highly sexualized manner as he shouted, "SUCK IT!"
His maturity level was rising exponentially!When the barrier rose again, Requiem was removed from the battle. She had been excited to beat the snot out of Celsus, but alas, the barrier had divided them. Her disappointment was shortlived however, when she spotted Eternal Sailor Nemesis on the other side of the barrier.
"Nemesis!" Requiem cried, rushing to the barrier to face her former mentor. "I see you are still on the wrong side of things. Its a pity, I always though so highly of you. Come, join us and make things right."
She extended her hand. Of course, with the barrier up, they couldn't touch, but once the barrier had dropped, Requiem had hoped for her old friend to join her so willingly. She hoped, but had no expectations. Nemesis was certainly a stubborn girl, and the Senshi had never been good at seeing the errors of their ways. She was prepared for combat if it came to it - the two knew each other's fighting styles well.

Virgo was answered with a sound that would have been more appropriate coming from a bear, and a couple more chiming clangs of the sword against golden light. The shield was as solid as ever, and all he'd done was decorate a swath of it like Jackson Pollock in his own blood. It was only when he stopped to catch his breath and seethe, shoulders moving heavily with every gasp of air, that he realized that everyone else had stopped. He glanced around with wild eyes at the lull in the fighting.
"DON'T JUST ******** STAND THERE!" Hematite shouted at the milling agents of chaos. Seeing red had gone from figurative to literal for him, as blood dripped from gashes in his forehead down over his eyes. "TAKE THIS ******** THING DOWN!"

Nyx followed along with Pasiphae's explanation attentively, filling in the gaps of her knowledge base. Well, to be honest, there was more gab that substance. She had been zipped out to The Surrounding to find answers, after all. Princes and princesses... maybe the hierarchy had something to do with Pasiphae's fuku change, too. Or maybe you're just born that way. Not that it mattered -- what did, was that they had a cannon standing around somewhere.
She acknowledged Europa and Babylon when the approached each with a curt nod. She appreciated the freedom to choose whom to follow, but the answer was clear.
"I'd like to stick with you guys, actually. Wherever you go, you have my support." This group had proven themselves already.

Suddenly Bifröst was no where near the battle. She breathed a sigh of relief and moved over to where Celsus and the Princess where and sat carefully on the ground. She looked at up Virgo as the woman spoke. That one had tenacity alright. The Page pressed at the cut on her side, the blood having soaked through all her layers of clothing.
She wished Pages didn't bleed.
Bifröst wondered if there was something they could do. To get them out of the Surrounding. To make everything alright again.
She wasn't sure if they would.

Another voice. He knew it, but it was more distant in his memory - a voice that he'd once tried to push out of his mind completely, in his pain and anger.
The large, vague blob of teal sealed the deal, really, even through Themis' vision was still fuzzy.
"Europa... ?"
He hadn't looked this broken, this lost in so long. "The agents... Those strange senshi... They went mad, earlier and not so long ago, but less so. they... They killed so many."
He slumped a little more forward, threatening to faceplant anytime now - through now he leaned into Bellatrix's embrace as she caught him. "I couldn't save them..."

Bellatrix had tried to catch him, but only manged to make the impact on his knees a little less as she knelt beside him. "You'll be okay," she reassured him. Herself. Mostly herself. "After all, we've been through worse." She hoped the smile she gave was so some comfort. Kneeling turned to flat out sitting. Her feet and legs just wouldn't take it anymore, and while they had time to rest and recover, why not take it. So she unceremoniously plopped on her butt, and let out a sigh. So many emotions still held her though. Worry. Confusion. Sadness. More worry. More than anything she was a bundle of nerves. Faith was practically drained from her. As Themis mentioned the civilians and all the killing, she slumped. There was the sorrow again. The feelings of failure... And how could she reassure him, when she felt just as awful? She just held him tighter and hoped she wasn't hurting him doing so, and rested a chin against his forehead.

The Shame Senshi couldn't help but blush at 'Europa's confidence, and she wished the other Senshi could stay longer... but someone was clearly injured and needed her attention more. Pasiphae visibly relaxed whenever Nyx agreed to stay by her side, and she gave her arm a supportive squeeze. "Alright then... let's go find the Zodiacs."
As she began to move, however, she paused in midstep. "Wait... did you hear that?" The Shame Senshi strained her ears. She could've sworn... that someone had said something, something important. Something about... combining powers? Channeling? She repeated these concepts aloud, "Combine... channel... powers? What... what does that mean?"

Sailor Thisbe did shiver as the golden mote drifted towards her... And yet it wasn't bad. There was something warm about it; like the fuzzy feeling you got in the pit of your stomach when someone, a parent or a sibling, turned on a light to check on you after a nightmare. It was there just long enough to mimic her... And then it was gone.
She blinked hard, looking around quickly before realizing that Arsinoe had left her in the dust. She shook her head hard before taking chase after him. grabbing him by his sleeve once she had caught up. "I don't... I don't know your name, I didn't ask your name and I should have, but it's not important now... I think. This is going to sound crazy, but I think I was right. You were right. We were right." Sailor Thisbe sounded crazy for a moment; rambling frantically before turning to shout to those assembled in the Castle.
"We need to focus! Anything and everything we can! Every bit of power we have... Every thing we have left. They've done it. You can see it around us; the proof that even civilians can work together to protect people... And now we have to." She still sounded crazy, and would likely continue to sound so as she closed her eyes, thinking of the warm feeling the mote had given her, focusing every bit of energy that she had into the phrase, "I do believe in fairies, I do. I do."
It was the memory that she was lending the power to; the warmth of having watched that movie as a child knowing that Tink would be okay if they just believed. She was old enough to know better now, but short of shouting her sphere and holding her pen out like a goon, it was the best way she could think of channeling things.
