Jer0nim0 LifeSuxEatCake I was coughing like crazy and then I turned on the humidifier solar suggested I use and now I'm barely coughing... I guess his advice actually works sometimes ; -; I want a humidifier for my mono and asthma really badly too. ;o; @ Shena--I think so? I asked my dad if we had one, and he went and dug it out of the garage. <33 aww It looks super old though xD but hey, whatever works!

All I have is a breathing machine for my asthma. xD Pumps basically the asthma-inhaler meds into the lungs for about 10 minutues.

Well I figured out the humidifier only works to stop my cough if I sit two feet away from it and take really deep breaths. xD

I suppose if a humidifier mainly add more water to the air, the binding properties of water add the weight of water to dust particles. This may leave more less dust in the air of the room.
But I fail to see how it would effectively stop a currently present need to cough.
