It will require that I have at least 105 chakra points to master it. So won't 'til like, Chuunin or Jounin.

He knows him thoroughly, although he probably doesn't want to. xD
He actually has conversations with his demon quite frequently. Mainly looking for advice and stuff, though the Kyuubi's regular answer is to rip all of his problems apart.

But the Kyuubi isn't dumb. He's manipulative, evil, other crap, and powerful.
But that certainly applies to the Ichibi. He lost to a freaking frog, regardless of how smart he is.
