sharpie5332 does anyone know how to or put words in photoshop?
At a guess tho, I assume you'd like to apply text to a picture, in which case you'll need the text tool. That's the big LETTER A on the tool pallette.
It's all kinda intuitive.
You should think about having a play with all of the tools for a while, get to know Photoshop inside and out. It'll help you when you want to do more complex things.

but the one I have is a T and it makes the text ulgy and you cant do anything to it

Oh, sorry. That's my mistake.
Adobe uses T for text, most other packages I've seen use A.
What do you mean by "ugly" and "do anything". Again, you'll have to elaborate.

ok by ugly I mean pixelized and just bad and by cant do anything I mean you can make it smaller or change the color or font style

Try the Window > Character tab on the file menu.
THat should give you lots of options.
And text is bound to be pixellated if you're working on small images.
