[Purekit sat at the entrace of the nursery, feeling despair.
Honeykit had avoided her pointedly, going to sleep, because he thought she needed to be alone...but it was the opposite.
She felt a yawning hole of emptiness. She still couldn't find Richkit, and it began to worry her. Honeykit had numbed the fear in her for a while, but again she felt suddenly fearful. Somehow, she knew her mother was...was...what was the word? Not okay?
Something had happened. Purekit sensed it. She wasn't sure what it meant, but she fearfully thought perhaps...her mother was dead.
Trembling, she tried to hold back a scream. She rocked back and forth, feeling herself spiraling back into hysteria.
She missed her mother. She couldn't find Richkit. Honeykit was asleep, and probably avoiding her now. And Fathom was going to become the leader of NightClan.
Everything was going terribly wrong.
Purekit closed her eyes and scrunched her face together. She wished with all her might that her mother would come back home that instant, and that she could tell Purekit it would be okay. Purekit wished she could throw her face in her mother's pelt and inhale the sweet scent.
For a few moments, she pretended she was, but the dream faded, like mist slowly evaporating in the sunlight, leaving her desperate, alone, and utterly terrified.] ═══════════════════════

[silverkit wandered into the nursery]"hi purekit, whats wrong?"[purekit was alone, silverkit knew what it felt like being alone]"do you miss your mom? I miss mine, event though no one will tell me who she was"[silverkit shed a tear]

[Purekit looked over at Silverkit, and her fears immediately evaporated. Seeing the kit's sorrowful face, Purekit realized how lucky she was to know her mother and have her by her side. Besides, Purekit didn't think Silverkit had any siblings...]
Blinking gratefully, Purekit said, "I...I do miss my mommy. I'm just worried, is all."
[Purekit jumped up, lashing her tail excitedly. She had an idea!]
"I bet my mommy could be your mommy!" she exclaimed. "I don't think my mommy would mind!"
[She began to sniff Silverkit excitedly.]
"Yeah! You could be my sister!"
[Purekit plopped her butt on the ground and tilted her head.]
"Though...you don't look like me..." she said dismayed. Then she exclaimed, "But my brother, Richkit, doesn't either!"
[Purekit purred to herself, feeling happy. It made her feel good to give another kit a mother, and to have another sibling!]

[silverkit was suprised by purekit's sudden idea] "o-o-o-okay" [silverkit felt as though starclan had decended and gave her nine lives,A family! did it always feel this way?] "where is mom anyway?"

[Purekit blinked.]
"Ah, right. My mommy, Lavenderrain, went on the Journey to retrieve the remedy. She's coming home soon though!
Remember? She's the deputy of NightClan! Your new mommy will be leader of NightClan one day!"
[As soon as Fathom is gone, that is, Purekit thought gloomily.]
"Though, when she does come back, we'll have to tell her about the fact that you're her new daughter. She'll get confused otherwise."
[Purekit purred, then tackled Silverkit excitedly. She wanted to see if Silverkit could playfight as well as Richkit!]

[silverkit squealed in delight a fought back her crippled paw shaking with pressure,despite this she was quite strong] "ignore my paw it doesn't hurt, I think I was born this way" [she mewed, most cats were afraid they had hurt her when it shook like it just had]

[She pinned Silverkit down, eyes glittering with mischief.]

[silverkit laughed and pushed purekit over and started tickling her] "I never had anyone to playfight with because I was so weak but that's changed now" [she giggled, purekit had the advantage in size but silverkit was dextrous]

[Purekit squealed with delight and rolled around, trying to kick Silverkit off.]
"Mommy says the more I playfight, the stronger I'll become, because playfighting is how kits practice real fighting!" Purekit exclaimed.
Purekit wriggled out from Silverkit's grasp and declared, "So the way I see it, the more I playfight, the stronger I'll become!" and then tackled Silverkit again, bowling her over.═══════════════════════

[silverkit rolled backwards and propelled forwads slipping underneith purekit and extending upwards knocking her off balance] "I hope that didn't hurt" [she mewed standing up again] "I saw Dawnfrost do the same thing to cloud when she tried to get me and I wanted to see if it really works or cloud is just a mousebrain!"[she giggled]

"No, that was pretty cool!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling.
[She stopped and licked her paw to smooth her fur down, and her fears slowly came back.]
"You know...I'm just worried that mommy got hurt," she said worriedly. "I know she's strong, but I miss her."
[Purekit scratched her ear with her back leg.]
"But I'm sure she'll be happy to have a new daughter!" she exclaimed.═══════════════════════

Foxfur&Willowheart
[Willowheart padded into the camp, sniffing the air, so glad to be home.She laid down the herbs for the Madness]
"Guys! I'm back! I have the herbs!"
[Spotting Foxfur's familiar dark red fur, she ran over, and pounced, nearly knocking him over]
"Guess who!!!"
[Foxfur stared up at her, his bright green eyes full of joy. His best friend had come home]
"Hmmm...I wonder who...?"
[She giggled]
"Me! Of course!"
"That couldn't be Willowheart..could it?"
[Laughing, Willowheart jumped off of him, lifting her head and letting the sun warm her pelt]
"Yes! It's Willowheart. That's me!"
[Nudging Willowheart with his head, he steered her towards their Clanmates, wanting her to make sure everyone got a hello]
[She smiled at her Clanmates, wanting to run through her territory, and take everything in once again]

Turning to Silverkit, Purekit squinted at Sallcilla and asked, "Who is she? I don't think I've seen her before. What's wrong with her?" ═══════════════════════

[Lavenderrain was exhausted by the time she'd reached camp but her eyes were shining with anticipation.
She limped awkwardly through the tunnel.]
"Purekit! Richkit! Where are you my darlings?" she called.
[Her paws couldn't hold her up any longer so she sat lightly on her haunches.
Pain shot up her left fore-paw, she'd accidentally sat on it.
Wincing in pain she wondered where Hauntedheart might be.
Shaking her head, she awaited her kits anxiously.]
