Ralef ignored sacha and walked into the next lab, checking to make sure everyone was there.
Everyone was except Kai.

Taki raised an eyebrow at Kisa. "Oh? Do i hear some resistence there Kisa. I thought you said that wouldn't work," He smirked down at Kisa.
~
Tala rolled his eyes and stood up. "I thought we were on a mission?" He dusted himself off and offered a hand to Brooklyn. "You can bring it with you if you want.

Brooklyn smiled and took Tala's hand, balancing the kitten on his shoulder. "We are on a mission." He told Tala, putting a hand up to tap the kitten's nose and smirking when it tried to scratch him. "But Bry's not likely to leave any time soon."

Kisa's eyes narrowed. "Not the time to joke around." She said quietly. "I don't know how I can save him though." She told Taki, looking down at the ground.
Kai put up his hand. "Um? I have no idea what either of you are talking about but in involves me, right?"
Kisa nodded slightly.
"Then why don't I just not turn up?"

"Yes, Kai, just don't turn up and while your at it, you can hide under my bed," Taki said sarcastically. He looked over at Kai. "Not turning up would probably be the worst thing to do."
He looked down at Kisa and thought for a second. "You could always get someone to distract Ralef or whoever #1096 is today," He raised his hand, "I volunteer."

Tala shrugged. "Eh..." He turned to walk out the door.

Brooklyn followed him, still playing with his kitty. He looked up at the tree Bryan had been sitting in and smiled when he saw a leg. He's so cute when he doesn't mean to be Brooklyn thought as he took the kitten off his shoulder and cradled it in his arms, sitting down and leaning against the building. He was only here for moral support. He didn't intend to interfere.

Kisa shook her head. "I don't think he'd trust you." She told him honestly. "And then what would we do if we managed to get him out of there? They'll just keep on coming back."
((I say sacrifice Sacha twisted Give Kisa that extra nudge to go to the resistance))

(( sweatdrop and i'm sure Taki would like to be doing the sacrificing.))
Taki sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Look, i really have no idea, i was going in there today anyway to make sure Ralef doesn't attempt anything stupid and if #1096 is who i think it is than they'll be enough disrtactin in there to make sure nothing gets done."
He gave her a small smile. "Who said we need a plan? Just deal with things as it comes."

Bryan sighed and leaned back against the tree trunk. Well, this is interesting...
His snapped his head around to look beneath him when he heard a twig snap. He looked down and raised an eyebrow. That's even more interesting, it's Tala...
He jumped down and stood facing the red head.

Across the street, a woman and a young girl turned the corner. The young girl tugged on the older girl's hand. She looked down at the lavender head through her sunglasses.
"I am going home, right?"she asked quietly.
The older girl nodded. "Yes you are, when i figure out where your home is..."
The girl smiled "Oh! I know where it is! Its close!" She looked around the neighbourhood and stopped when she saw Bryan across the street.
"Brother...?" the small girl raced off. The older girl blinked and followed her. "Hey! Wait a second!"

Tala narrowed his eyes at Bryan. Sure, he was going to talk to him but he wasn't going to be happy about it. Bryan shuffled a bit and cleared his throat.
"Tala," he said.
"Bryan," Tala replied.
"BROTHER!"
Bryan raised and eyebrow and looked around just in time to see something tackle him.

Brooklyn looked up from his kitten when he heard the commotion. He saw a young girl who looked remarkably familiar. He frowned, wondering if it was another of Biovolt's tricks. Is that the real Kisa? He wondered as he continued to sit. He figured that if it was Bryan wouldn't appreciate anyone interfering.
He motioned for Tala to come and sit with him.

Kisa shook her head, string at the ground. "You don't understand." She said. "If we can't save him he's gone forever." She looked back up at Taki. "I won't ever forgive myself if anything happens to him. It can't be left to chance."
Kai sighed. "We don't have much of a choice." He told Kisa, walking to the doors of the labs and opening them, not giving her or Taki time to argue with him. We'll have to figure it out depending on what happens.
Sacha looked up when Kai walked into the room. Is that who I'm going to be? He wondered dully, any and all life sucked out of him by the horrible night he had endured. He may have slept through it but his dreams had been filled with Fayina.
Kai frowned when he saw Sacha. "Hi." He said shortly.
Kai was quickly followed by Kisa who stopped short when she saw Sacha.
He didn't look anything like he had when she had last seen him. She didn't see how it was possible for a person to change so much in only a few hours. Sacha's normally bouncy golden brown hair hung limply around his face, looking like he hadn't washed it in months. His normally laughing eyes were dull and his entire demeanour had changed to one of defeat.
Kisa's eyes widened. They couldn't have done anything to him yet could they?

Taki rolled his eyes and followed after both of them. He closed the door and then froze next to Kisa, having just realised who they were all looking at.
You've got to be kidding me...
He opened his mouth to snap something but was stopped as Ralef walked back into the room.
"Oh?" the old man said, "So we decided to turn up did we."

Tala stepped back and raised his eyebrows at the young girl. He looked over at Brooklyn and walked over when the other motione to him.
"I thought you said his sister was captured by biovolt or whatever?" he asked brooklyn quietly.
Bryan blinked down at the girl. "K-kisa?" Lavender eyes twinkled up at him. "Bryan! I came back! It was really scary and dark but i came back!"
She frowned up at him. "Why didn't you come and find me?"
Bryan smiled. This was deffinitely the right Kisa, finally. He knelt down and hugged the little girl. "I didn't know where to find you," he whispered.
"I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you're Bryan."
Bryan blinked and looked up, seeing the older girl with her sunglasses and brown hair pulled up into a ponytail. Where the hell did she come from?
"Um, yes?" He stood up, picking Kisa up with him. "What's it to you?"
The girl smirked. "Nothing, but, you want to save your friend, right?"

((*gasps* ZOMGZ! Is it Kia?!??!?!))
Brooklyn blinked. "She was. He told Tala, standing up slowly and approaching the women. "Do you know where Kai is?" He asked cautiously, catching Bryan's gaze and smiling at him. That means that he's free to help us. He thought, pleased that now Tala might be able to forgive Bryan for his part in Kai's capture. He turned his gaze back to the women, making a face when the cat, reinstated on his shoulder, nipped his ear. "Do you?"

Sacha looked over at Ralef listlessly, wondering why he felt so tired. Some part of his brain recognised a slightly off smell in the air. b*****d. He must have released some sort of gas in here before he left the first time. He thought, not really caring.
Kisa fought to not run over to where Sacha was. If she did their entire relationship would be revealed. She shivered to think what would happen if it was. Instead, she gave Ralef a hot glare.
Kai looked over at Ralef and smirked. "What?" He asked. "Did you miss me that much?" He indicated toward Sacha with his head. "What's he here for?" He asked, keeping the note of fear that wanted to creep into his voice out of it. He had to think quickly if he wanted to save whoever this was for Kisa.

((*gasps* ZOMGZ! i don't know! is it?! Taki: *pops up* isn't she supposed to be dead?!))
"This, my boy, "Ralef answered, motioning to Sacha, "Is your ever lovely replacement."
His eyes flicked over to the other two. "And why do we have a crowd today? What is it? A field trip, Keiji?"
Taki glared at Ralef and then looked back and glared at Sacha.
Ralef smirked and turned back to Sacha. "I wouldn't try standing up if i was you, but of course," he grinned evilly, "that's your own choice."

Tala followed Brooklyn. Kai? Why would she know anything about Kai?
The girl smiled at the kitten and reached over to scratch it behind the ears. "Is that his name? Kai?"
Bryan adjusted his grip on Kisa, making sure he wouldn't drop her. It had been a while since he had done this. He looked at the girl warily. "Yes, thats his name."
"Who are you?" Tala asked suddenly.
The girl looked at him. "I am me. That's all yu need to know." She pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to Bryan. "But, if you want to help him just follow the piece of paper." She smiled at Kisa. "Bye squirt." Kisa smiled and waved at her.
And then she turned and walked back the way she had come.

Brooklyn frowned and jogged after the girl, putting his hand on her shoulder. "Wait! You can't just leave like that." He told her. "You know something about Kai!" He said desperately.

Sacha blinked at Ralef, tiredly trying to think of words to retort but not coming up with any. He pulled his legs up on to the bench with him and wrapped his arms around them. I'm not going anywhere voluntarily He decided. He looked over to where Kisa was. I'm sorry Fayina he thought regretfully.
Fayina watched Sacha out of the corner of her eye. She couldn't let him leave her like this. She began to walk over to him slowly, ignoring everything inside her rational mind telling her that what she was doing was one of the more stupid things she had tried.
She reached Sacha's bench and hopped up on to it, her legs dangling off the edge of it, making her look even younger than her body already was. She reached over and touched Sacha's leg. "Ti zhe znaesh`, ya vsegda ryadom" She said so softly no one else would hear her.
"Ti zhe znaesh, tak i dolzhno bit`" He replied, equally as quietly, Fayina's mere proximity helping to clear his thoughts.
"No it doesn't." Fayina insisted, her head close to Sacha's. She felt tears in the corners of her eyes, "It doesn't have to be."
Sacha shook his head and looked away from Fayina, declining to answer. He wished the gas or whatever it was would work better.
Kai frowned at Ralef. "He can't replace me." He said flatly.

"Can't he?" Ralef replied.
Taki tore his gaze away from the two on the bench and shook his head. No time for revenge now... He walked up beside Kai and muttered to him out of the corner of his mouth.
"Unless you can come up with a really good reason why not, i hate to tell you, but its been done before." He nodded his head towards Kisa.
Ralef narrowed his eyes at Taki. "Keiji, why the hell are you here? And why have you decided that this would be a good time to have a chat with the specimen?"
Taki glared at Ralef, "The specimen has a name you know."
Ralef nodded. "Your absolutely right, he does, A+, Keiji. Guards!"
Taki raised an eyebrow as two burly looking guards ambled in. Ralef flapped his hand at them boredly, "I need him," he motioned to Kai, "And him," Sacha, "In the other Lab, now."
The two nodded and each headed towards a separate boy. Taki blinked,that was a bit extreme, even for Ralef...

The girl turned her head to look at Brooklyn, the surprise in her eyes masked by the glasses. She smiled and then nodded her head towards Bryan before shrugging off the hand and continuing to walk. "It's all there," she whispered.
Bryan raised and eyebrow at the piece of paper. "Wonder whats on it."
Tala snorted. "Well don't just stand there, open it!"
Bryan frowned at Tala. "I have one hand, genious." Tala sighed exhasperatingly and took the paper from him and opened it, skimming through the contents.

"Wait." Brooklyn said quietly. "Why are you in such a hurry to leave?" He didn't follow her any further. "Why are you helping us?" He looked back over his shoulder at Bryan and Kisa, smiling at how comfortable she looked in her brother's arms. "Thank you for bringing her back." He said quietly.

Kai eyed the guard coming towards him warily. "Taki?" He asked, a hint of fear coming into his voice. He backed away from the guard towards his friend. They can't really copy me. Can they? he wondered, glancing away from the guard at Fayina. "Taki?!" He asked again, a note of panic in his voice.
Sacha looked at the guard with passing interest before he turned his attention back to Fayina. "I'm sorry." He told her, trying to smile but failing. He felt the guard's presence coming closer. "I love you." He whispered softly into her ear, kissing her gently on the cheek.
Kisa felt the tears that has been threatening to fall begin their journey. "No." She said quietly, looking at him and kissing him fully on his lips. "No." She turned toward the guard and glared at him. She leapt at the guard, trying to catch him off guard.
"Fayina!" Sacha yelled, not caring if anyone else knew their secret names. Now was hardly the time to worry about that.

"I don't know!" Taki exclaimed to Kai, not knowing what else to say. He sent a glared over to Ralef who was chuckling insanely. He probably is just doing the guard thing for a laugh...
"Fayina!" Fayina?
Taki whipped his head around. His eyes widened at the sight he saw.
"Kisa!"
A guard struggling with a small girl really didn't look good. Not for the girl anyways. He looked between the guard that was getting closer to Kai and the struggle that was happening near Sacha.
Geez, what do i do?

The girl stopped and turned back to face him. "I can't tell you, not right now, time is running out. I have a few more things to do before tommorrow, please, just go back and see for yourself what i gave him."
She smiled softly at Bryan and Kisa. "It was the right thing to do."

"Thank you all the same." Brooklyn told her sincerely before turning back to his friends and the boy he loved. He half jogged back, always mindful of the kitten on his shoulder. "What does it say?" He asked.

Fayina elbowed the guard hard in the neck, trying to find the right pressure point to send him to the ground. "Sacha!" She called.
Sacha stayed where he was, unable to move from his position, too horrified by what was happening. Biovolt would punish Fayina for her disobedience. Then all of this would be for nothing. "Fayina. Please stop." He begged.
Fayina ignored him and continued trying to inflict as much damage on the guard as possible.
Kai watched the guard with pure fear in his eyes. He didn't want to be copied. He didn't want this.

Taki pulled at his hair and let out a frustrated noise. I'm going to regret this later...
He looked around the room for Ralef and saw grinning evilly and chuckling at Fayina and the guards. Taki smirked, Off-guard too, just my luck.
He made his way swiftly over to him, pulling his silver knife out of his belt.
Ralef's chuckling stopped abruptly and he let out a gasp. The guard advancing on Kai turned around.
"Stop this Ralef," Taki hissed.
"Keiji, what the hell are you doing?" Ralef said darkly, "And where did you get that, that thing you're holding against my neck?"
"Call it a present," Taki smirked,"Now call those guards off, now."
"Who said you could tell me what to do?" Ralef snapped. Taki pressed the blade a little harder into his neck. "i really don't think you're in a positon to make orders, Ralef, and besides, i out rank you," Taki said casually "You've taken this whole thing too far this time. Now this is a direct order, call the guards off now."
Ralef narrowed his eyes at Taki but nodded to the guards anyway. The one closest to Kai backed away from him.

The girl smiled before continuing to walk.
Tala raised an eyebrow at the piece of paper. "Nothing much, just if you want to help go to this place tommorrow or something."
Bryan looked over Tala's shoulder, reading the directions. "That's an air base though,"
"Kitten!" Kisa exclaimed when she saw Brooklyn.
