Spike---&--- SCAR 2.0Spike shook his head and sighed. "I'm going to do some research," He said, his shoulder plate opening. Scar 2.0's hologram vanished and the little buggy jumped up into Spike's shoulder. "Drop by the lab any time, dad~" The Absol said with a smile, licking his father's cheek before running off.

TolinTolin relaxed his scythe and sat down beside the now-kind-of-sort-of-glaceon. He looked down at Alfred, pondering the creature before him for a moment. He seemed so, so young. " We find out why. We discover everything we can. Why is it you, Alfred? Why you out of countless creatures? Is it something in your blood? A distant event? A curse? I don't believe something so massive is a fluke. Something is letting you carry the spirit of death. Let's find out what it is." Tolin fell quiet for a moment, giving Alfred a few seconds to contemplate what he'd said. " What can you remember? What happened before you transformed?"

     Spira---Alfred---Scar---Hexy---Trisha
Spira nodded to Spike as he left, Selena had asked her to stay here so she had no choice but to do so. Although she was curious. It was ironic that the one Pokemon she knew would never hurt a thing, had the ability to wipe out the world. Very upsetting. The Lucario turned to Spike's dad with an arched brow as he stettled down. The older Absol seemed to be wondering over something. "There's an idea. If we know why then we can figure out how to get rid of this thing. Sorry to tell you this, Gardy-boy, but our orders are to destroy the source of the problem. In otherwords, you. But let's just say this all goes away, then we dont have to take that precaution." It was both a statement and a warning, which caused the Glaceon to frown and close his eyes thoughtfully. "...I recall nothing...except...there was a voice once. 'Born in flames, sealed in waves' that's all it said...I dont know..." The Glaceon shifted so those blind eyes were directed to where he thought the Scyther's head was, determined from the voice. "You can let go of me now. I'm not running."

TolinTolin pulled his scythe away, resting both of them on his legs. Alfred seemed honest, and even if he tried Tolin could outrun him with ease. He glanced up at the Absol. " I'll insure that such a thing isn't necessary myself." He turned back to Alfred, pondering what he'd said. " 'Born in flames, sealed in waves'...? I'll have Albus research it. But... the lost memories are troubling." Tolin considered it for a moment--and only a moment--before reaching a conclusion. " I have a suggestion, but I doubt you'll like it. A psychic type might be able to pull the memories back out of your mind. Jonah might be able to discover what happened in those forgotten moments."

     Spira---Alfred---Scar---Hexy---Trisha
The Lucario rolled her eyes at the idea. Alfred would never le- "No." The transformed Gardevoir said almost instantly and Spira nodded along. Of course, he was very protective of his mind and disliked anyone trying to read it or even make sense of it. "Say what you will of me, but I wont consent to it and promise any fool who tries to get in my head that he wont get away unscathed." The Glaceon stood and Scar was quick to stand as well, tensed to spring, but the ice type merely stretched out like a cat and sat back down. "Arceus, Alfred. Dont be so stubborn, this can solve everything!" Spira snapped, pushing herself off the wall to approach the transformed psychic type. "I have my reasons!" Alfred snapped back, barring those Glaceon teeth. "I ask you to accept that." The Lucario rolled her eyes but said nothing else.

TolinTolin had expected this. And he'd thought ahead, too. " Then what about her? What about the Gardevoir that was sobbing over you as you panicked? Is she barred from those thoughts as well?"

The Glaceon glanced to the ground, another useless gesture he needed to break since he couldnt see. After a moment there was a very dim flash of light and Alfred stood, back in his usual form, with his arms crossed. "Lucinda? I wouldnt keep anything from her, but..." "She your girl? I dont see why you'd block her anyways. I heard psychic type are very intimate with their thoughts and share them constantly." Trisha purred, perching on Scar's back which forced the Absol to remain standing or he'd throw her off and he would never be so rude. "I suppose..." The Gardevoir concluded, though he still sounded less than enthusiastic over the whole ordeal.

TolinTolin nodded. This was good. They might be able to find out what triggered the shift. It wouldn't tell them why he was a vessel, but it might tell them how to stop--or at least stall--it. " Good. If I may suggest, we should give... Lucinda, you called her? some time to rest. She seemed... rather distraught." Tolin considered the other options. Well, there was one more source of information. " For now, then, may we delve into your history? I would like to know of the one you call Teacher. How you met him... and what he's done since."

The Gardevoir visibly tensed at the mention of the Mewtwo, it ws obvious he was not keen on revealing anything of his history especially anything to do with Teacher. "...I dont see how that's any of your business..." The Psychic trailed off at a sound. A ringing coming from the guild. Spira's ears flicked up. "Sounds like the alarm." She commented, but did not move to answer it. Scar and his team, however, were quick to take off out of the hospital at the sound.

TolinTolin frowned at the sound of the alarm. It was always something lately... He sighed as he turned towards the door. But, before leaving, he looked back at Alfred. " It isn't. But this "Teacher" is the closest link we have. I don't know if he made you into what you are or if you always were and he simply found you. But for a creature like him so intent on destroying everything, finding the God of Destruction isn't an accident. Mark my words, Alfred; he's done something to you. The sooner we find out what, the sooner you stop being a threat." Tolin looked in the direction of the doorway out. " Think about it Alfred; he's pursued you for a reason. I'll be back as soon as the current situation is resolved. You have until then to consider it. Every secret you keep is another risk. Another threat that you'll be the end of these lands." Tolin walked off at a brisk pace, headed for the source of the alarm.

  Spira---Alfred
"I'm going to go check on Spike." Spira said suddenly, just as Tolin left and she abandoned the Gardevoir with his thoughts and the Scyther's words. Alfred folded his arms across his chest and turned to stare out the window with unseeing eyes. A sudden spike of Psychic energy hit him like a cloud of smoke and the male Gardevoir's face twisted to a frown. No. That couldnt be who he thought it was. He never showed his self before anyone. With a sigh Alfred turned and made his quick exit of the hospital. This warranted an investigation. He hoped his suspicions were incorrect.

TolinTolin's consciousness returned slowly and painfully. He was definitely too old for this s**t. Stacking Agility like that had shot up his heart rate so high that his body couldn't compensate when it wore off. It looked like that level wouldn't cause him any permanent harm, but the shock to his system was too severe to stay conscious. Well, he'd try not to do that one again. Tolin's eyes opened a little too fast, taking in a little more light than he would've liked to. " Ow." He'd... get up and leave in a few minutes.

Alfred---Lloyd Lloyd, ever present thanks to all the bullshit going on the past few days, was quick to scowl when the Scyther awoke. "Someone your age shouldnt be doing crazy s**t. I tell Vito the same thing, but do any of you old bastards listen? No. None of you do!" The Weavile turned, now that he'd shouted at someone he was feeling much better, and slipped out the room only to direct his rage elsewhere. "Get off the shelf, dammit! If you break something your paying for it, Gardevoir!" He pointed an accusing claw at the pale-colored Espeon lounging on the top of one of the medicine cabinets. The transformed cat's only reply was a well placed meow and it flicked those twin tails at the dark type nonchalantly. Alfred risked a glance down the hall, psychic powers allowing him to check in on Lucinda who was still sleeping. He didnt want to bother her and so he loitered there in the hall and out of the way high above everyone else.

Tolin Gardevoir...?Well, it might be worth getting up. If just for a moment. Pulling himself up, off the bed, Tolin stopped for a moment when the blood rushed down his body violently. Taking a moment to rest, (headrushes suck) Tolin got up from the bed. His circulation seemed much better, now. He doubted he could push himself for at least a day or so, but he'd survive sticking his head out the door. And there, of course, was Alfred. A few steps took him over to the cabinet. " Still feel like keeping your history so private?"

Alfred Lloyd stomped off down the hall, vanishing around a corner with a few curses. The Gardevoir turned Espeon lazily glanced down from the top shelf, one white paw hanging off the edge. "...would you be surprised if I continued to argue against it." The cat-like Pokemon stood, stretched and nimbly leapt down to the floor. He had switched forms, in the hopes of not calling attention to his self, but Lloyd had ruined that. Damn Weavile. Hopping onto a nearby bench, the Espeon proceeded to stare off into space. "...my mind is one of the only things I have left that is mine and mine alone. No ones ever been in my head, I've fought countless mental battles to keep it guarded and I protect it as though it holds some treasure, which is not the case. I have nothing to hide, but do not wish to lose the little privacy I have left." The psychic mused, cracking his neck to the side. "...it may sound selfish, maybe it is, but I wish for an alternative solution."
