"I...Just don't know." Kewnew admitted with a phrase that she found herself saying very rarely; the girl usually having an answer for everything. "Right now I feel as if I belong where I am; fitting perfectly beside you. I don't think I want to change that." Her thought process started to become spoken aloud. "I'm afraid to take the risk and lose all of that, even if it may turn out to be for the better."

RicoRico gently kissed Kewnew on the cheek. "No matter what choice you make, I'll always love you the same amount as before..." Kewnew had gone through so much to solidify his feelings for her, he'd make sure it wasn't in vain. "If you want to evolve, evolve. I'll be there with you~"

"I guess I'll just have to sleep on it~." Since she was getting nowhere with her own problems, Kewnew came to a definite conclusion, closing her eyes and curling up closer to her love whether he had more plans for the night or not. At this point she was still awake but purposely oblivious to the world; she was completely fine if they remained here for the night or headed off to either of their team rooms.

Zori & SkyeZori crossed her paws mildly, reading softly aloud to the daughter who was standing next to her in the grass. She cooed very so often, as though to ask a question, or make a comment, and Zori could tell that although her daughter didn't understand most of what she was telling her, the emotions were getting through. The Leafeon's tail flicked calmly, wrapping around her baby's little body, and the Eevee objected with a mewl. It was warm outside, she wanted to play, not cuddle. Exploration was much more exciting. Maybe they could cuddle later. Zori moved her tail away again, and gently nudged Skye's rump with her head, urging the little Normal-type off to explore. Finishing the story didn't particularly matter, to someone who didn't understand the words. The little violet Eevee toddled slowly across the courtyard, pausing occasionally to pounce the tiny, and presumably imaginary creatures that stalked through the grasses. "Be careful, little one. They might bite back~" Zori purred in amusement, watching her daughter play. The Eevee looked at her, as if to say that she didn't feel like talking, and returned to her clumsy game of pouncing and crawling.

Albus & LauraAlbus trotted into the courtyard alongside Laura. He looked almost as if he had been drugged. His eyes were part way closed and his face was entirely relaxed. He might have been seen letting out a yawn as he walked in. He was fairly exhausted, as he had worked himself to unconsciousness last night. It wasn't the first time, either. It left him fairly relaxed, which was a definite improvement over his mood before. Laura herself was quite happy. Albus's mood had improved considerably over the past week. Maybe he was simply too tired to be angry or maybe he was genuinely happy, but either way it was nice to see him finally changing back to who he was in the mere moments before they properly met each other. " Hm? Isn't that your cousin, Albus?" Laura glanced over at Zori. Albus followed her gaze carefully. He let out a great wide yawn before replying. " In-law, yeah. She married Alexander." Laura smiled. " Let's go see how she is." " No, let's..." Well, it was too late for that. She was already gone, her feet pattering towards Zori at somewhere between a walk and a run. There wasn't much of a choice now. " Good afternoon~"

Zori & SkyeZori pricked her ears as another voice echoed in her mind, and she tilted her head, looking up to see a rather pretty young Vaporeon trotting toward her. She was familiar, though Zori couldn't quite remember where she was from. It wasn't until she spotted the slower-moving Flareon behind her that she remembered having met the pair, if only as comrades in battle. The Leafeon sat up, politely dipping her head to her cousin-in-law and his companion. "Hello~" She greeted serenely in reply. "To what do I owe the pleasure?" She was older than both the Vaporeon, and Albus behind her. Despite their new relation, she hadn't really met the majority of the royal family. In truth, they seemed to avoid herself and Alexander, for the most part. It was as though they were afraid to meet her mate. Whether this was out of sheer awkwardness, or fear, she did not know.
Across the grass, a tiny Eevee came half-crawling back, spotting the strangers near her mother. She was a little scared; she'd never met them before. She didn't want them playing with her mother! Her mother promised to spend the day with her! With as much bravery as she could muster, she toddled onward, headed straight for the Flareon, who lagged a little bit behind his watery companion. He didn't seem to have noticed her at all, so maybe, if she was smart, she could take him by surprise! She tried to run a little bit, like she'd watched the older children do, but her weak, tiny body wasn't yet ready for running, and she tripped herself up on her own paws, stumbling headfirst into Albus' leg. Skye blinked in alarm, falling promptly onto her rump in the grass next to the Flareon. His fur was very hot! She didn't know how he could be so warm, but she was happy that she hadn't hit him hard! What if he burst into flames, like the fire-thingy back home? That would be scary. Her large, dark eyes shimmered with a mixture of awe and curiousity, her worry and fear entirely forgotten. He was a lot different than her parents and Moonfall. She could tell that, already. But, somehow, she couldn't help but feel a connection to the creature before her. A soft, questioning mewl rippled from her throat as she continued to silently wonder exactly who he was.

Albus & Laura" We were just going for a walk when we noticed you." She smiled, trying to be sociable. Ah, wait, she probably doesn't know who I am. Laura's face went straight to a sheepish sense of surprise. " Pardon me, my name is Laura. You're Zori, are you not?" It was best not to assume names, although there was little doubt that that was the case. Albus called out from behind her before the little furball ran into him. " Albus. Before you ask, Albus." Having an identical twin brother was not exactly a convenient thing. People tended to mistake them for one another fairly often, so he had a tendency to introduce himself to anyone he met, even if he had already met them. Well, obvious exceptions aside, anyways. His team could tell whether it was him or Atra from the less obvious indicators like gait, physical posture and habits. Albus looked down at the little Eevee that ran into him. He barely even felt it. She was extremely small and very obviously a new born. And given her markings, it was pretty obvious who she belonged to. So obvious, in fact, that he couldn't even be bothered to ask; it was like wondering if a Lapras could swim or not. The answer was obvious. So instead of any of that, he merely stared straight back at her. He broke off eye contact after a few moments to turn his head upwards and shoot out a very tiny puff of flames. He didn't really mind kids. They were cute, as long as they kept quiet. Though, the same could be said for how he felt about any social contact. People were nice, as long as they weren't loud and moronic. Preferably quiet or intelligent. Hopefully both.

Zori & SkyeZori smiled in response, and nodded her head in confirmation. "That's right; it's good to meet you, Laura~" The Leafeon purred sociably in response. She was happy to have the company, sometimes. Lately, her life had revolved around her baby. Skye was her entire life, now, and she knew that Doku would probably agree. No rest for the exhausted. The silent joke made her smile, and the flicked an ear curiously as Albus introduced himself. "Albus; you're Do-... I'm sorry, it's difficult for me to think of him as Alexander... In any case, you're his cousin, aren't you? It's good to finally meet you." She wondered if Doku himself had even met Albus and his brother before. He'd probably heard of them, but whether nor not they'd had the time to meet was another thing entirely. She tilted her head, following the Flareon's gaze to her daughter. "This is Violet Dawn in Clouded Skies; my daughter." She introduced softly, realizing a little bit late that they might not understand her complicated connection to the Tribe.
As her name was called, the little Eevee glanced at her mother. her gaze quickly shifted back to Albus, whose name she now knew, but would most likely forget in a few moments. She cooed again, her voice soft, and high-pitched as any child's would be. A little forelimb stretched out and pawed at the little puff of flames, and though she didn't quite touch it, out of fear. She knew better than to touch fire, but... she felt almost awed. He could breathe fire! What a strange thing! The little Eevee wiggled her tail curiously, and sat, expectantly waiting for him to do something else amazing and exciting. Fire was awesome, she had decided. Absolutely awesome.

Albus & Laura" It's nice to meet you as well, Zori." Laura maintained a polite tone and posture. She didn't really mind meeting with the Leafeon. Although she was something of a narcissist, the Leafeon was her hopefully-maybe-eventually-cousin-in-law-in-law. In a roundabout way, she was speaking to someone who was both family and royalty. At the very least, they were equals to one another. " I love your markings. Are they from your family?" " They're from the Tribe of Everlasting Balance. She's related, although it's complicated." He answered the question in the place of Zori before letting out a stifled yawn. " It's good to meet you as well, Zori. I've yet to meet Alexander since his return, though from what I've heard he finds the family somewhat intimidating." Normally he wouldn't have spoken as he did, but Zori was family. He owed her at least that much courtesy, even if the connection was tenuous at best; she was royalty. Just as he was. Laura sat down, content as she was. Her tail curled around her front legs, which remained straight. " She's beautiful. How old is she?" She watched as Albus shot out a small stream of water that went above the baby's head and hit the ground behind her. After a few moments, the water began to freeze from the impact site. The ice crawled up the warm funnel of water until it finally met Albus's lips and stopped. The ice itself was crystal clear and perfectly smooth; a product of the pure water that the ability generated and the abnormal freezing process. The water that had washed down it as it froze quickly removed any roughness by temperature alone; after all, it was coming out of someone who had to keep his temperature low just to have a drink of water. He stepped back slowly before he continued the jet of water in order to create a stable arc of ice. Any less and it would be prone to falling over, and given the size of the small Eevee that could easily be fatal. He stepped back slightly, looking mildly amused. Children were interesting that way; they didn't necessarily understand what was going on. They were unique. It was hard to predict their reactions. And it would likely be quite the reaction, considering the perfect arc of ice that was just above the Eevee. It wouldn't be long before it started to melt.

Zori & SkyeZori nodded in response, feeling a little more at ease from the friendliness of the pair before her. She'd been a little nervous, to be honest. She and Doku were still a little complicated, in the way of relating to the rest of the royal family. "Thank you, Laura. And yes; my mother was of the tribe," She acknowledged quietly, "though I didn't know this myself until quite recently." Her leafy tail curled around her body where she sat, enjoying the feel of the cool grass beneath her paws. The plant-life in the courtyard was surprisingly well taken care of, despite all of the chaos that ensued within the guild, and for that she was grateful. One of these days, she'd have to thank whoever managed all of the flowers so well. As a Leafeon, the gardens here made her feel truly at home. She did not reply to the comment about her husband, for it simply wasn't her place to say. His memory was lacking in the matters of the royal family. He didn't remember his own mother, from what he'd told her. That fact made her a little sad, but... at least he had a family with her, and with his team. He would remember some day, and his family would love him, no matter what happened.
The little Eevee watched the spiral of ice in silence, gazing curiously as the light shimmered through the strange, warped and glass-like structure above her head. It might have been inspiring, had a child as young as her an imagination, but, as it was, she saw things as they were, not what they could be. A drop of water rolled across the surface, falling from the arch of ice, and falling with an inaudible splash across her tiny muzzle. She squeaked at the sudden chill, but made no move to shift. She had been watching; she'd known it was coming. Another droplet, this one splashing across her ear, and yet still, she didn't move. She wondered what it would taste like, and whether or not it would be safe to eat. She supposed, however, that she would simply have to test this herself, before it all wasted away into the icy droplets that rained down from above. The third drop fell, and she seemed to sense it coming, watching it roll like a raindrop across the ice, and slip silently from the ice. It fell through the air, and into the awaiting jaws of the young Eevee below. It was cold; tasteless. Water. Having determined precisely what it was, the Eevee backed up a few steps, looking across the icy bridge, and back at Albus. She mewled approvingly, rising up onto her hindpaws, and stumbling clumsily around as she tried to keep her balance. In the end, she did fall backward, but she was proud, at least, that she had managed to stay upright for so long without proper practice. She'd watched her mother do it before, and she seemed to be able to do it without a problem. Habits were easily imprinted on the minds of the young. Skye watched Albus through a pair of large, dark and innocent eyes as she let out a child-like, high-pitched purr. It was soft and weak, but still audible, and the repeated squeak that rippled from her throat announced her pleasure. The arch was curiously amusing, and the icy water that rained from it's surface still seemed to excite her. Another snap of her little jaws, and she'd caught another falling droplet. She was thirsty.

Albus & LauraAlbus chuckled as the water droplet pegged her right in the nose. It was cute, to say the least. He continued to observe her antics with a smile on his face as she stumbled around and went after the water droplets. " How old is she?" He asked the question as a mirror of Laura's. She had to be quite young, from how she was acting. She was still having trouble with motor control as well, so she couldn't be very old. Pokemon learned to walk, run and even kill from a very early age; you didn't live long in the wild if you couldn't. In all likelihood, it hadn't been very long since she was born. Noticing that the young one was thirsty, he quickly set above improving the temporary structure. A quick spout of water and a bit of energy thickened and chilled the structure considerably, temporarily cutting off the water. But that was only for a moment. Just as soon after, he created a pillar of ice that hung from the middle of the arc and stopped near her head. A small bit of fire had it smooth and dripping as the flames suddenly stole from it it's shape and form. Laura merely sat near Zori with a grin on her face. It was the brightest Albus had been in a while.

Zori & SkyeZori blinked, realizing that she'd entirely missed something that Laura had asked her. It was evident in Albus' tone that she'd missed it, though she didn't sense the irritation that he'd have had if she'd not heard his words. "Pardon; I hadn't caught it the first time. She's not yet a month, but she should be getting used to moving around, now." The mother purred in reply, watching Skye snap at the droplets of icy water that rained down. The little Eevee stood beside the downpour of fresh water, lapping happily at it, as though she hadn't tasted anything so good before. The tiny, rumbling purr, and the lashing of her fluffy tail clearly presented her joy in the matter. As she felt her thirst quenched, she turned, trotting to Albus's side, and brushing against his leg like a kitten. Her purr intensified, and she then sat down next to him, one ear pricked, and the other flopping lazily sideways as she tilted her head. What had inspired this sudden show of affection was unknown, but she'd done it regardless. A form of gratitude, perhaps? She sat up on her haunches, and drew her small, fluffy paws over her muzzle like a squirrel, wiping the water droplets from her face.

Albus & LauraStill under a month, huh? " It must be hard being the mother of such a young child." They were always so rambunctious at that age, regardless of species or gender or parents. Some of them were even little uncontrollable typhoons of destruction that would wreck anything in their path. Albus, meanwhile, opened his jaws wide in a very long, loud yawn. He quietly settled down besides the much smaller Eevee, seemingly intent on taking a brief nap. The sun felt nice, he was tired to begin with and using his abilities just made him moreso. Still, there was a faint smile on his face as he hunkered down. Kids really were nice. They were happy and quiet unless something was actually wrong. And damn if they weren't cute. Albus was a fairly stuck up person, but that didn't mean he was bereft of a soft spot.

Zori & SkyeThe little Eevee brushed close against Albus' forelimb, purring again and snuggling in against his warm fur. The child was immediately drawn to the warmth of his body. So small, just the simple warmth of lying against his leg, and the sun upon her back seemed to warm her from the inside out. She let her eyes slide shut, and she yawned with a sweet, soft squeak. Her ears tilted back, flopping lazily onto her shoulders. The child, still young, and already worn out from playing, drifted off to sleep alongside her first cousin, once removed.
Zori tilted her head, glancing at Laura with a knowing smile. "It's more about instincts at this point; you fall into a routine pretty quickly." She replied calmly. "She's turning out to be more interested in exploring and snuggling than she is causing trouble. I can only hope that it stays that way." Her eyes sparkled with amusement, laughter rippling through her words. No child ever stayed at this stage for long; even if they did prefer not to cause trouble, exploring would eventually get them into it. She figured that, as long as she and Doku kept a close watch on their daughter during her early stages, she would grow up in a good environment, with as few incidents as possible. She just wanted her baby to be safe, healthy, and happy; it was all any mother could ask.
