"It can us the Mokuton," he smiled, he had done a little research on his sensei while at the ice sheets.

"Too long, heh." He coughed slightly, a little blood hid within his hand, then nodded. "In a way, yes, it is a living thing."

Watari grew disheartened for he looked for a good excuse to get some exercise. These past three years have granted him a lot. he sat and pondered at his possible options and wondered what his own now-chuunin sensei was up too. Last he'd heard he had been training with the Sannin Jaice, a rather high honor. He began to think of other options and decided it was best to find a suitable spot to train.

Apollo nodded, simply turning as he began to head out the door. There was no real reason for him to be here so he decided to head back to snow for the moment, check in there, and then get on with his move back into hidden leaf. He walked out the doorway with his hands in his pockets and uttering a word to anyone.

"I have a single element," he nodded focusing on his one finger,"Raiton, that is my specialty I prefer to focus on one than two." He then sat and watched his sensei with interested eyes,"So what will you have me do then Akito sensei?"

Akito nodded. "I want you to master balance and a calm mind. I want you to center yourself. Concentrate, then focus on having the lightning you can produce swirl around you in the form of a ball, no bigger than a mouse." This was how Mion began to train him. If Tenichi could master what Akito went through, then no one could stop him.

Tenichi had been channeling chakra for over an hour now and he had not yet managed to do but half of what Akito had asked. He stopped and took a deep breath,"I can do it this time, I feel it in my core sensei." He clapped his hands together as the chakra rose around him in a flowing ball once again and this time he shrunk the orb of chakra. It decreased smaller and smaller till it was not quite yet the size of Akitos desk, he then began to exert more control of his chakra, still condensing it greater. Finally the ball slowly began to shrink more, it took steady work and time, but after about 15 minutes he had finally made the orb the size of a golf ball at the most. Releasing his hold on the chakra the orb expanded and after a flash, out dropped Tenichi on the floor panting,"I.... I did it.... sensei..."

Akito thought for a moment. "Maybe... lately, some of the people that live closest to the gates have reported hearing sounds from within the forest. They claim it's some kind of beast or animal. I have my doubts, but it could potentially become real trouble. Head to the Outskirts and camp out for a while. If nothing happens, come back. If something happens... well.. that's the challenge." He grinned as he turned his attention back to Tenichi, nodding.

"That 'core' is your chakra supply. Remember that feeling. The average shinobi can only tap into sixty percent of their chakra supply, simply because they don't know how to properly use it. Before we work with any sort of jutsu, we need to make you stronger, faster, smarter, and peak your potential before we move on. I know it sounds boring, and it did to me when I went through it. But trust me, it's worth it." He lifted his finger and pointed at where the ball was before hand. "What you just did focuses on Elemental Control. Skilled shinobi that get the hang of such acts can actually control their jutsu mid-attack, like redirecting a lightning bolt to counter an enemy movement. Not many are use to fighting someone that can do that, meaning you will have the advantage."

He took a moment to let everything set in before continuing. Now he understood why Mion said what she did. "Let's see... what class are you trying to be? You following your mother or father?"
