As the doors opened ever so slowly to revel a huge entrance to a ball room type space. It was a scene you would expect from a Disney movie just when the princess was suppose to make her grand entrance. Only there was no music only eerily silence that hung in the air with the echo of a war outside. The more they looked they could see a figure slowly walking down the grand stair case. A lone girl with white angel wings sprouted from her back. Her heels making a soft noise as she walked along the carpet. Standing at the top of the last stairs she lifted her head up to look our towards the door. Instead of running to her friends the girl just stood there in silence. Her gaze was dead as her eyes held no shine. Tsukiko's appearance wasn't something to be joyous out.

"Once upon a time there was a girl who danced in the light of the moon. Graceful and delicate like the flowers she loved so dearly. Different from others she hid in the shadows of the sun afraid of what the light would hold. When she decided to venture into the light she found a gate that was blocking her way. With no other way to go she waited and waited, so many people had the key yet all refused to show her the kindness she needed. Tired and lonely she was outcast to the light of the moon where she danced once again." At the point Tsukiko started walking down the stairs. "It was safe and kind in that dark light of the moon. It was a place were she no longer knew of pain and sadness. Everything was washed away as she was placed in a sweet slumber locked inside herself. In her dreams she can be free of nightmares and the sun awaiting the day in which she will not be shunned."

Arriving on a platform halfway down the staircase she looked down upon the room. "Waiting ever so patiently to be asked for a dance." Her voice was an echo what Tsukiko normally sounded like. There was nothing behind the voice, no life to give it a proper noise.

User ImageFor once, Fyte was glad to have Palian there. How she knew it was Palian, she didn't know, but she could sense it was him, especially due to the different coloring and size of the tiger from the rest of the hordes of animals. She knew this time, Nemo and Palian had figured out a way to cooperate, and the kids needed all the help they could get.

Entering the ballroom, she could tell something was immediately wrong. Where are all the guards, the heads, anyone? A clacking sound caught her attention, and her head snapped up towards the spiral staircase. Immediately, she was overjoyed to see her friend safe, but then something in the back of her mind told her something was wrong. Really wrong. Staring at her friend, she instantly saw the problem; there was no life to the girl, she was just a living doll. Shock and fear crept into her, and the brunette wasn't sure what to do in this situation. "What did they do to you…?" she whispered hoarsely, staring at the girl.

Another door opened to their left, and Fyte whirled about to see what was coming to greet them now. Yet another pair of dead eyes met hers, and she was startled to see it was the exact shade of grey hers were…minus the warmth. "Professor…Tyrek?" she said slowly, startled by his presence. Was he against them? No…his eyes are just like Tsuki's. They must've done something to the both of them…but what? Her brow furrowed as she thought, wondering what it would take to save them.

User ImageHiccuping, she just listened to the sound of nothing for a good minute, letting the tears roll down her cheeks. "Okay…" she breathed, though she knew full well Ace was already gone. Wiping her eyes with the back of her hand, she bent down to pick up her sword.

It was hard to focus on what was going on, especially with the figurative hole in her chest. Her heart hurt, but it would have to wait until after the battle. Then she could go and kick Ace's a**. For now, these goons would have to do, and she had a job to do. Unsheathing the blade, she glared coldly at the people in suits.

"You guys have already cost me someone dear to me not once, but twice. Twice, you've made me cry. I will pay that back to you in spades right here, right now." Her voice was low, but it still held the promise of pain. Her reddened eyes only added to the menacing effect. Swallowing her tears, she gave a battle cry before charging the group of offenders before her.

Ace stands up and yawns taking his tray through the empty cafeteria as he looks around hearing noises from outside. "Man the music is loud this year..." He pulls out his phone and calls the president hearing a ringing from right outside. Hello? I am sorry, but I am watching the fight for now, please... He was cut off by Ace who turned the corner and put away his phone. The president smiled at him and stood up as well. Back from the grave I see... Sad fight to watch, do something to get around it next time please. "Ah, I see, so I wonder how much I don't remember... Not like it matters right? I ever... No don't tell me, but tell me what your powers are sometime alright?" Ace says smiling as Birdy chirps happily. As he starts to walk forwards he motions the president to follow and Birdy turns around only to see the President with a grin mouth to Birdy Aren't you going to show us your true self soon as well?

Ears flat against his head, Palian growled softly as the witch recited her dead words. He knew right away that something was wrong with the girl, but he was never a hesitant creature. Without preamble, he rushed up to her, his head level with her waist. Stopping a breath away, his startling blue eyes raised up to her's. He was an imposing sight, being far larger than a normal tiger would be.

'Tsukiko,' he spoke through their connection. It was still frail and weak, but the link between them was still there. He was silently glad that he was not completely cut off from her, but the blank stare she donned worried him more than he was willing to admit.

' I am here,' he said to her mind to mind. He knew that she had worried for him when last they were together. The very memory of their last parting was enough to make him want to do something destructive. The compulsion almost made him turn away, but he forced himself to focus. There would be plenty of time to kill and maim the aggressors when he got them safely away. For although he was confused by the appearance of the man nearby, he sensed the same wrongness in him as in Tsukiko and he wasn't about to leave him behind either.

The girl didn't flinch as the giant tiger raced toward her. Standing perfectly still merely breathing and looking forward. Her usual warm loving brown eyes gave a dead and cold stare. She was nothing more then a doll, a moving shell that spoke. Then with out warning in a split second a voice screamed through the connection. "Get out it's a trap!"

With out warning the doll moved pulling the sword from her sheath and swung at the white tiger. Jumping back she landed on the top step in a kneeling position with her blade pointed down in front of her. Clapping was heard as a man appeared clapping. He was a slightly older man later forties if that. He was dressed in a nice business suit with his hair slicked back.

"I see you've met our lovely new experiments. Wonderful test subjects they were especially this girl. We knew of the children with powers, but a witch, now that's just fascinating don't you think? It was surprisingly easy to break her, for something so small to act so tough. More like shattering glass if you ask me. "He stood half a step back from Tsukiko, using her as a barrier knowing she would block anything from hitting him.

"Allow me to introduce myself, I am Norio Yuki. You all seem to be familiar with my daughter Tsukiko. Thank you for inviting your friends over my dear, I knew you would be a good girl." He reached out and patted the doll on the head. Still motionless yet tears poured from it's eyes. "I always knew my daughter was special, in my ignorance I didn't realize how special she truly was. Then the meteor hit and her powers just keep growing and growing, truly a gifted child she is. Being the scientist I am I knew I needed her to get anything done. The director has already met with Tsukiko here while you all were arriving. Tsukiko darling, you had a wonderful time during your meeting with the director didn't you?"

As the man smirked the doll did't move. What had they done to her? Was this man aiming to get an attack or telling the truth? If he truly was Tsukiko's father had he honestly used her as a test subject, and now used her as a human shield.

((What you said you liked plot twists))

Kry

User Image
Kry had always been laid back and watched with delight as he saw everyones little adventures, including their daily lives. The only time he really hated to watch was when something big was happening and so now that this little war started it pissed him the hell off to know his nice little school was attacking and being attacked. He took it upon himself to stop it and walked into the middle of the fight as bullets started to drop right before getting to him and anyone in the school going to fight looks at him with confusion. He grins and slams one foot into the ground below him which causes a massive tremor to start and the ground below him and in a few other spots ruptures as a small earthquake happened making fighting or using powers hard as hell, it even killed quite a few of the illusions all with Kry standing in the middle. "Well... This is boring."

User ImageShe'd been doing a damned decent job of fending off the goonies as they came upon her, wave after wave of bodies thrown in her direction. After flipping one over her shoulder, she elbowed another squarely in the gut, knocking the breath out of him. She had been paying so much attention to the fight that she had almost missed the arrival of one person. Almost. Taking advantage of the confusion, she turned on the newcomer.

"Kry…" Alessa growled out, not happy that he'd shown up. He could be as pesky as Ace when he wanted to be, and now was the absolute worst time to have to deal with him. "You have exactly two seconds to explain what you are doing here. Then afterwards you leave unless you want me shoving my sword where the sun don't shine, and it ain't gonna be up your stinking nose." Rage rolled off of her in waves, making nearby students cringe in fear. He was going to mess everything up, and everything was going to hell as it was.

Kry looked at the disciplinary member and laughed. Out of all delinquents and enemies the disciplinary members have ever had, Kry was the biggest. Even able to take on Ace's time powers he stood as one of the schools biggest bosses and only retreated during the last big confrontation two years ago when his members had all but fallen to him alone against the few remaining security members. "YOU?! AHAHAHAHAHA!!! No, but seriously. I am just here to end this bullshit." He says hitting what seems to be thin air causing a loud crack and sonic boom to come crashing into the mercenaries.

User ImageAt the entrance of the older man, Fyte let a growl escape her lips. "What have you done to them?" she asked menacingly, her hands balling into fists. It was taking all of her willpower to not maim the man right there and then. Then again, Tsukiko would most likely block whatever she threw at the man, not to mention Tyrek. It was beyond her comprehension why he, of all people, would be here, and more so in this state. Other than being a teacher at Hexes, there was no correlation between him and the group of kids currently trying to save themselves.

"What did you do to them?! To Tsuki, to Professor Tyrek! They never asked for this, never would have and never willingly would. You never cared about your daughter, you tried to murder her! Kill your own flesh and blood relation!" Fyte literally spat at Norio. "You only 'love' her when it's best convenient for you. You're worse than scum. May you rot in the lowest level of hell there is." With that, she threw a blast of wind at Norio, trying to vent all of her frustrations and fears by beating this b*****d to a pulp. The blast of air, on the chance that Tsukiko would take the hit, would flow around Tsukiko and hit the target standing behind her. "Change them back! Now!" Fyte demanded, unshed tears glistening in her eyes.

Eyes washed of color from a mixture of fear and exhaustion, Nemo pulled his thumb from his lips as he watched Kry make his appearance. The tremors that shook around them made his blood run cold, but for another reason. He had forgotten, that the children of Hexes were hidden away from the world for a good reason. That some of them were more dangerous than any weapon so far conceived. That the whole world was one power hungry madman away from falling into chaos. And that that power lay in them, or at least a few of them. Kry was one of the few that was on a level all his own.

"Woah," he awed breathlessly as Kry sent a sonic boom, which knocked all in its path for a few hundred feet to the ground. Soon after he heard the mournful howls of the hounds that were last seen following at Ryo's heels.

User Image

Kat was grateful for Kry's appearance, even if it caused her shield to finally shatter. No one seemed to notice, either drawn by the aura of power he exuded, or seeing him as the bigger threat. Too weak to stand, she slumped in the grass, trying to even out her breathing.

She didn't know much about him, other than that he was one of the headmasters first students. He was like a silent guardian of the school, hardly seen but everyone could feel his presence. If anyone had a reason to be here, it was him. He, above anyone else, would know what was at stake if they failed to keep their friends from these men who would use them.

Easily, the white tiger dodged the blade that tried to slice open his shoulder. The frantic sound of Tsukiko in his minds ear was both exhilarating and frightening. And the notion that hearing her so unhinged scared him, something that feared nothing, worried him.

Keeping his stomach low to the ground, he followed with swift steps, keeping their parted distance the same. He had heard her warning, which was all the proof he needed that she was more than a mere puppet. Whatever had been done to her could be reversed.

Unlike Fyte, who seemed more upset at the sudden appearance of Tsukiko's father, Palian took little interest. He knew the connection and what pain it would cause his Kiko, but that did not change what needed to happen. He had to get her away from here. Goal orientated to the core.

If she was set to answer orders, like a puppet moves via a puppeteer, then all he had to do was cut the strings. Or rather, take out the puppeteer. Growling low in his throat, he waited for the opportunity to strike. The moment Fyte's wind ruffled his hackles, he lunged for Tsukiko's supposed father, teeth bared with a sneering roar.

As the attacks race towards the father and daughter, Norio quickly grabbed his daughter and pulled her to defend him. The doll was yanked up and pulled to defend her master. The doll stared blankly as the tiger lunged toward her. Her sword had fallen to the floor as her father pulled her to defend himself. "We all knew in the end it would be you that was going to hurt me the worst." Her voice was barely above a whisper. Lifeless as it was...did it speak the truth? Tsukiko was constantly belittled about her feeling for the dream demon. In the end she hadn't know who it would that would be hurt, but she felt some of the pain should be her burden to bare.

Was it Tsukiko speaking through, or another trick from her puppeteer. Echos that haunt them. Who was even the main target at this point. Even in the end they were all going to get hurt. Tsukiko's father tried to run away from the attacks. Not caring if his daughter would be alright. A coward and a b*****d.

Kry

Kry looked away from Alessa and started to walk towards where Norio was and started to give the man a warning of his coming as he started to punch what seemed to be thin air as he walked every now and again. Where Norio was loud booms and cracks could be heard as things started to crack and explode as though some unknown force was hitting them and other areas as well. I the students wished to push as well that was fine, but whoever was in his path was a target and he didn't care until the invaders left the ground. He would be damned if the Headmaster's land would be sullied by these group of weak men.

User Image"Oh no you don't! Get your sorry a** back here so I can beat it!" Fyte roared over the sounds of explosions, leaping after Norio. She could trust Tsukiko to Palian; he would keep her safe. Tyrek she had an inkling that he wouldn't move. That was, until he moved to block her chase. Confused, she skidded to a stop, looking at him incredulously. "Professor…?"

Fyte couldn't help but grunt as she had to jump backwards to dodge his sudden punch. Skidding a foot on the floor, she gazed at him, wary of him. Someone else must be controlling him. But from where? Looking at him, she wished she had been granted mind reading powers or something, anything to help in this predicament. Taking a careful step to her left, she found that Tyrek mirrored her every move. She had no time for this; Fyte needed to find the one pulling the strings, or needed to find a device to turn both him and Tsukiko back to their old selves. Eyes darting around the room, she found a door on the second floor slightly ajar. It would be the best bet for her to find anyone or anything in this building. Taking one last look at Tyrek, she bolted, literally flying up the stairs to get to the door before he did.

The door slammed open as Fyte rammed her way into the hallway, not bothering to look back to make sure Tyrek was following her. Hopefully, she would find a way to cure him. There had to be a way here. He still needed to tell her whatever it had been that had been bugging him. About some, unknown to her, bond they held to each other. She desperately needed to know, so to settle her own uneasiness in her own life.

User ImageShe sighed, quite frustrated with the current situation at hand. Still, she let Kry do what he wanted to do; at least he was with the students this time, not against…she grimaced at the memory of how he wiped the DC singlehandedly. He'd always intimidated her, even when they were kids being raised by the Headmaster. Always the enigma… Shaking off the past thoughts, she called to the others surrounding her.

"Press on behind Kry if you wish, but see that the heavily injured are taken to the rendezvous and attended to. Make sure that you STAY behind him, lest you become acquainted with his powers firsthand." She warned, wanting no unnecessary casualties from friendly fire, if she could help it. The students were panicked, to say the least. Some of them even dropped back once Kry had shown up, grateful for the distraction to escape the fight.
