Lily groaned against the restraints, twisting and turning her wrists as the magical ropes held her down in place. She didn't have time for this sort of thing, while they where dilly dallying around, Leviathan could very well blow something up. Lily glared at the man who spoke of lollipops.
"For one. You have no right to hold me here, I am no minor, I can leave whenever I see fit, with or without doctor permission. I am well aware of this. I have the right to refuse medical assistance. So don't start that jargon with me, sir. Secondly. I cannot eat sweets, so shove it! " she said flatly at the man, she was more then angry, she was pissed. I have every right to be, he tied me down!
Then her eyes fell on Annie, her brown eyes more then determined. "I didn't say I was going to do anything. But sitting around here doing nothing isn't going to help matters worse. Not only that, but what is not doing anything going to accomplish? I'd rather do something and risk my own life, saving god knows how many rather then sitting here scared out of my wits because Acid didn't touch the man. Doesn't mean bullets won't. " she had a point. So what if the mans exterior wasn't harmed by the acid rain, he was a meta human after all. But Bullets, unless he was super man, bullets would stop him for a while.
"Do you seriously think contacting a reporter is going to help matters any? A general report, what makes you think it will be believable? " she groaned again, twisting her wrists in the restraints, how she got involved in all this, and how she knew about the bomb she couldn't quiet explain. "If I promise not to do anything. Can I PLEASE be let go! I'm in a friggin sheet for the love of all that is holy!" then she glared back at the man who was responsible for this. "Perv."

The doctor approaches her with a professional heir about him. "You can't refuse something that has already been administered to you. Nurse Margaret healed your wounds while you were unconscious. You should be grateful to your friend for showing such concern for you. I will let you go, but please don't run off again before clothing yourself."
The threads unwind from Lily and retract into the doctors fingers. He looks at her with disappointed eyes, "It's a shame you cannot eat sweets. I do so enjoy giving lollipops to my patients."
"Thank you doc, we've got it from here thank you." The doctor nods his head and takes his leave. Shane approaches Lily with her clothes, all the while keeping his eyes averted. There is a deep blush in his face as he says, "Lily, please calm down. We'll talk about Cortez and the bomb as soon as your dressed. He's dangerous and a plan of action has to be made." He holds her clothes out to her, keeping his eyes to the floor.

"Doctor,sir," sighed Annie. "Can you please leave me out of this. I'm not a friend of hers, I was merely repaying a favor." Massaging her forehead she wondered if this was how Shane felt about Annie and her actions, that she was being unreasonable and foolish.
"Miss Stinson," sighed Annie clenching her fist as she accused Annie of being scared (she so wanted to punch the girl right now), "you are aware that even with a gun you are useless against Mr. Cortez. If I couldn't take the man down, you sure as Hell cain't."
Tossing her auburn hair over her shoulder she pulled out Lily's cell phone, it had gone off twice while the phone was in Annie's possession, "How about I call your mom who has been constantly trying to reach you today and tell her about your adventure today? I'm sure an outside opinion on your plans would be nice, yes?" Annie didn't know what the story was between Lily and her mother, but obviously they weren't on good terms and by the number of times the lady called, Annie had pegged the woman for a total helicopter-parent.

Lily stood up, keeping the sheet around her frame tightly, then taking her clothes from Shane, she quickly disappered behind a curtain to change, once changed, she looked at Annie.
Doctor, sir. Can you please leave me out of this. I'm not a friend of hers. Lily's eyes growled at the girl as she looked at her, it was as if they looked down her very soul. Then, she watched as Annie pulled her phone from her pocket. This making lily even madder.
Not even thinking, or caring. She grabbed her cell phone from Annie, after all it was her property. "How about the next vision I get I don't try and help you, seeing we are not friends. I will not tell you the location or anything else of the sort. Have fun figuring it out on your own, Annie. " Then she turned to Shane, giving him a small smile.
"Mr. Morrison, I am sorry you have had to see me in such a state. Now if you don't mind, can you please lead me out of this place. I don't wish to be acquainted with someone such as her any longer. " Annie had hurt Lily with her words, saying she wasn't her friend. She felt like nothing. So if Annie didn't want her friendship, then she didn't owe her anything any longer. She waited patiently for Shane to lead the way.

Annie smiled, it was the best way to keep Lily out of the way and uninvolved, after all maybe if the girl really hated her, maybe she would stay out of the way next time and not get hurt. Her words surprised Annie, but she stood her ground.
Turning away she bit her bottom lip and said coldly, "Miss Stinson... you're an idiot. Did you really think that a normal human could be friends with someone like me. No matter what you try to do for us meta-humans we don't care."
She turned, though tears were in her brown eyes only coldness was in her features, "I'd go home and forget about everything you saw today. You are way too much over your head, Miss Stinson." Annie was determined to keep Lily out of the cross fire next time. And, earlier, Annie had bothered to memorize Lily's mother's number. It didn't matter to Annie that Lily had her cell phone. Annie would protect the girl anyway she could even if it would result in Lily hating Annie.

Shane rubs the bridge of his nose in frustration. Now he is having to deal with catty students. If there is any one thing that he dislikes about being a teacher it's students that can't get along with each other. He isn't surprised by Lily's reaction. He is however surprised by the biting reply of his baby sister's friend.
"Ladies please, everyone just take a breath for a moment. We're all tired and angry about something, but insulting each other isn't going to get anyone anywhere." He takes another breath. His eyes light up suddenly when Lily's words sink in. He asks her quickly, "Lily, did you say you had a vision? Do you mean something along the lines of a psychic premonition?"

She gritted her teeth, ignoring the burning sensation of hot tears running down her cheeks. She did say that, the one thing she had to herself, the one thing that kept her alive.. Her dreams.. She had spilled the beans. Dammit she cursed.
"Mr. Morrison, you probably misunderstood me. " she lied with a smile, turning to face the man. She looked at him. "I have nothing ugly to say to the Rebel. So if you don't mind, can I please go back to my room?" she finished again with another smile. She had to get away from Annie, before she smacked the girl across her smug little face.
Though at the same time, she wanted to explain to Annie that telling her mother wouldn't do anything for her but end her future. The woman would cut off her funding, she would hire someone to run her fathers company into the ground, thus ending lives, and stopping his bio science research. That couldn't happen, and Lily couldn't explain it to Annie, so she would just stop talking to the girl all together. "Nice knowing you, Annie. Please explain to Ako how you ruined his friendship with probably the only normal person willing to accept you all for what you are. I do so hope you have a nice life. " then she walked for the doors, knowing she'd have to wait for Shane to lead her through the maze below the school.

"Idiot," replied Annie coldly. "Ako has nothing to do with me or my actions. Are you so childish as to take out your anger at one person on others?"
She was shaking in anger, why couldn't Lily shut-up and go home and keep herself safe? The air around her was beginning to heat up, but she kept her powers in check. She spun around to meet Shane's eyes, "Well, Mr. Morrison, it looks like you have a new toy to play with since Miss Stinson apparently can see visions."
Furious, Annie stormed past Lily, pushing past the girl. Getting into the hallway, Annie broke into a run till she turned down the next couple corners before she stopped and slammed her fist into the wall, blood vessels breaking and her knuckles splitting open. Turning she leaned against the wall and slid to the floor. It frustrated Annie to no end, she wanted to monopolize the professor's attention. He had offered to help her, and immediately when Lily opens her mouth he automatically starts to treat Annie like a little kid and gets all excited about what Lily said about possibly having a powers.
"That's all you are to him, Annabella," muttered Annie under her breath, "another meta-human..." She squeezed her knees to her and sighed, she was getting jealous of some girl that had tried to save her life and Gidget's big brother.

Shane scratches his head in confusion, wondering what the hell had just happened. His confusion turns to downright dread as he sees the face of the voice that had been berating him earlier for allowing his sister to steal one of their projects.
The man approaches Shane stone faced, though his eyes paint a much more volatile story. "Morris, why are you bringing the set of a reality show into my facility? Don't answer that, just make them disappear. We have too much going on with the information your sister sent us to worry about the bullshit drama you've just brought us. I expect you back here after you've escorted those two out. You and I are going to have a long talk about your priorities as of late."
Shane nods to the large man and walks past him to Lily. He takes her arm gently and leads her toward the path that Annie took. "I'm going to take you home now Lily, but I'm not going to make two trips." He makes sure his voice is heard throughout the hall as he opens his lungs to say, "You two are going to get along for the next five minutes up the elevator. Then if you want to we can talk about things." He prays that one of them feels like talking. He doesn't feel like coming back down to the inevitable s**t-storm that was waiting for him.

Lily's eyes widen as she watched Annie make a mad dash out of the room. Then the turned to the man who was talking to Shane. She shook her head looking at Shane.
"Fine, whatever floats your boat. Buddy. But dont' think for a second that after this you are talking to me ever again. I'm out of your class ,out of this damn school." she said flatly, storming off the way Annie had disappeared to. She looked at Annie, and tried to smile, but it was a fail.
"Come on. Let us just get out of this place. Then, we go our separate ways. We won't have to talk to one another ever again. So i'm a idiot. Who cares. Now stop with the temper tantrum and let us get out of here." she forced a smile on her face yet again. Sighing as she waiting for Annie to agree. At the same time she was so confused on why Annie was so angry all of a sudden. Why she said such hurtful things. It didn't' matter anyways. She was a idiot for thinking Annie would be her friend.

Annie stood up, surprised to see Lily. She got up, bit her lip and said under her breath, "That would be best. It would be best if you forgot all about all of us. Me and Mr. Cortez."
Standing up she bowed her head to Shane and said, "I'm sorry, Mr. Morrison, but I'm not leaving. You're staying here ultimately, right? Well, I'm staying here with you." She could feel a blush come across her cheeks at her boldness, but she wasn't going to blow the chance to stay with someone who had helped her after the incident with Charles Ray, even after knowing she killed someone.

Lily saw the blush on Annie's cheek and instantly smiled, it must be nice to have a crush. Then a feeling of sadness came over, which was more then likely visible on her face. But she was going to say what Annie wanted to hear.
"You are right. For the best. Which is why I'm transferring out of the school by the end of the day. I'm going to stay with my mother. " she lied. She was getting out of the school, mainly for the fact she let known more about herself then she wanted too. She didn't want anyone to know she was a freak who saw visions. She didn't want people to know she saw her fathers death.
Then she looked at Shane, a look of disappointment still on her face. "One more thing, Annie... Never refer to yourself as meta-human again. You are a human being with a gift. Never let someone" she looked at Shane one more time. "tell you otherwise. Unless you like the term, don't use it. Because you are far more then that. You are a special girl. " she smiled, in the time they have had together she has come to know this fact. "Now, if you don't mind. I need to have my cats returned to me. And I'll be on my way. So let's go." then she took a few steps forward to note how much she was ready to leave this place.

Shane can feel his temper starting to flare at the behavior of these two. He sighs heavily and addresses, "Fine, but please stay close to the infirmary. Things are tense right now after what Gidget showed us, and you are in the footage...both of you. Reynold didn't see your face Annie, and I'm sure he was too angry to notice Lily. I don't want him trying to sink his hooks into you. So please, pleeeease, stay out of trouble Annie."
He motions for Lily to follow him and he walks toward the elevator leading into his lab. He places his hand on a pressure plate nad there is a ping. The elevator can be heard coming down, but the marker above the door shows that it has made a stop. Wanting to break the uncomfortable silence he asks Lily honestly, "Are you really that upset with me? I'd hate to lose a good student."

"Go play with your lab rats. " she said cooly, watching as the elevator stopped moving. She groaned, waiting for it to finally come down. Once it did, she stepped inside.
"I think I got it from here. thank you, Mr. morris. But I dont' think I'll be needing your assistance any longer. It's bad enough that you lied to everyone about who you are and what you are capable of. But now you have these poor kids thinking you can help them. You are not sad that you lost a student, no. You have never even given me a help in your class, but now that you know I have a ability, that doesn't need your help, I might add. You want to be buddy buddy. I'm not doing that to Annie. "
She sighed, pressing the button on the elevator that gave her the ground floor. Watching as the door began to close, separating herself from Morris and Annie. It was a sad day for Lily, she was so happy that she had made a friend, then she lost her just as quickly. As the door finally closed, she collapsed to the floor, hitting the sides of the elevator repetitively.
