She lowered her eyes "that's the easiest way to scare people off Nate ." she said softly putting her arm out and stopping him befor he squished a moth in a spider web. She took on a kinder persona and reached right in to pick it up and let it free. It was just another part of her, she was observant, and maternal.

"Woman, if I can put it up with your attitude, I can put up with your magic." He said with a glare in his eyes. He watched the moth and resisted the need to chase it, it being one of his puppy qualities that never really left him.

Liza smiled and looked up at him, seeing him resisting and giggled. "well what did you have in mind then? I could conjur you up a frizbee." she teased ruffing up his hair which he had yet to brush. She had to be on tiptoe just to reach it.

He smiled and grabbed her arm, pulling her to him. "How about a chase? I catch you you get to cook for me how ever long I stay at your place. If you make it a little ways into the forest, turn around, and make it back to your house before I get you, I'll stay with you as long as you want me." He let his hair move down into his eyes, making his eyes misterious with his his smile. "I won't even use my wings." He promised as he moved his hands down to her waist.

She looked up at him with a soft smile, from under her lashes him making her weak in the knees. "alright..." she agreed biting her lip but not moving, she liked where she was at and ducked into his chest for the fleeting moment.

He smiled to himself as he let go of her against his will, more then half of him wanting to run. "You get a five minute start." He said as he looked down at her again. "I'll let you get to your place any way you want."

She nodded and took off, incredibly fast for having only two legs. Not even out of eye sight she jumped into a tree with relative ease. He never said she had to race on the ground. She ran a mile north, in 3 minutes, then left her scent of a path south with her coat, running the rest of the way west taking the long way hoping to confuse him. She REALLY wanted him to stay....

Why that little... Oh he was going to get her, even if she won. He was growing to love her, and he feared that. He shifted and took off north, following her scent and then going south a little, finding her coat and picking it up. He shifted long enough to put it on and shift back, knowing it would be safe. Then then sniffed around a bit, trying to find her scent in the air. It took him a bit but he found it, taking off again towards the west.

The house was in sight, and she was getting tired. She'd gotten a peice of a broken bottle in her foot but she wasn't about to stop, leaving blood prints every time her left foot hit the floor. She just had to keep running.

After a while he could smell the blood and ran faster, worry taking over everything in his body as he ran. He tossed out the wing promise and used them, catching up to her fast. She had proven her point, so he would stay as long as she wanted him, but her bleeding was a problem. He howled before shifting, still running after her. "Eliza stop! You win alright now let me help you with that foot!" He yelled as the smell of her blood made something almost snap in him.

She stopped instantly seeing him more shock than a response to his demands and fell to her knees, the momentum forcing her to barrel roll twice and her lungs felt like they were going to give out. She looked at her shoe and saw the sizeable chunk of glass sticking out of the bottom "Well damn.." she said having been so single mindedly focused she almost didn't feel it.

He growled and was careful as he took the shoe off, looking at her foot. His eyes almost became black as he fought his blood lust. He picked her up and carried her to the house, kicking the door open and placing her on the couch. He then went into the bathroom and got the gozz he needed. He cleaned her foot the best he could and wrapped it. When he was done he put some distance between them, rubbing his face with a groan.

He stayed away from her until the smell of blood was very thin in the room, coming back in and sitting next to her. "You have to be careful with blood around me. I am a wild animal and the smell of blood excites me, that is what makes me a killer." He leaned over and moved her hair out of her face. "If I am going to stay here, that has to be at the top of your list to do. Its to not bleed." He looked into her eyes softly and left his hand on her cheek.
