Maybe we should try something simpler. Like that Emerald Squadron RP.
How bout this, we play an RP campaign where all the PCs are assigned to a single Rebel Alliance Task Force, based on the cruiser that's the task force flag ship. The ship's commander and the enemy are played by a single character who acts as both game master and OPFOR for the missions.
We restrict the other players to either pilots or members of the local boarding team (Commandos). Heck that setup is simple enough we can whip it up in just a few minutes. Maybe make the first mission rescuing a CR90 being pursued by a Carrack Cruiser or something.

If you're volunteering to lead it, I couldn't care less. that means taking care of profiles, plotmaking, and whatnot.

I really dont' know. Maybe this just isn't what people need right now. I might just remove this thread back to the mod zones, and let everyone voice their opinions, rather than try shoving anythign down their throats.

For the record, I've been reading. I just haven't seen a moment where my input could be useful.

Ditto here. I saw no points where extra efforts of my contribution were needed, up until a few posts ago.
1- I think the rp should be kept at a bare minimum of sectors. Start off with seven, and then once things get rolling, expand. By the time Stellar is bored, we should be ready to move on and expand the situation, adding more planets and systems.
2- I've heard no such rumors. Then again, I live in a black hole under a rock.
3- If we're talking about a completely different rp, then Stellar's idea sounds good. Except, I was looking forward to being an Imperial pilot, so I think instead of all being on the rep, we should be Empire >.>

...sudden idea. What if its a defecting Imperial Star Destroyer that's the RP flagship and its journey to find and join the rebellion? That'd be a bit different, we've never run a defection RP before have we?

Okay... My current concept:
Task Force Resolve:
The Imperial Star Destroyer Resolve is the flagship of a small squadron on the outer rim. Despised by their superiors the task force was a dumping ground for "alien riff-raff" after being framed in a smuggling ring the Captain and a few of the ships in the task force have gone rogue and are searching out the rebel alliance with the Empire hot on their tail. In the process of going rogue the captain was forced to eliminate the stormtrooper division based on his ship resulting in significant casualties among his crew, now they are on the way out of the sector with several imperial lines in pursuit.

So, in said scenario, we'd fill out the roles of the crew, which itself is likely dow to a skeleton crew.

Well, this idea is all well and good for another small time rp to have, but we still need a main rp for the guild. But honestly, we dont have to drop this Rp project, just start with it again and get rid of whatever committee it is you have with it.
But if we need another main rp for the guild, I'd suggest this: I've been thinking about working on my Mandalorian War project again. I'll hand the reins of that other to the guild if ya'll like that idea.

Terrific. Then we get our fill of Mandos as well as Jedi. After Cloak of the Sith, I don't feel the Mandalorian Wars is the way to go.
And Des, the guild WAS the commitee. Not the Mods. The Mods were just trying to get the Commitee to work.

ElladanKenet So, in said scenario, we'd fill out the roles of the crew, which itself is likely dow to a skeleton crew. Yep. Eliminating that stormtrooper division that comes attached to a Star Destroyer during the GCW would cost us dearly. Then there's the issue of finding supplies to keep the ship running. I bet we'll have to turn to the smugglers we used to chase for help there. I wonder how much we can barter a couple AT-AT walkers for lol. If the ship was the dumping ground for the sector command's less desirable personnel (Women and Aliens) then the crew compliment would be rather interesting. As a rough calculation, if command is sticking all the aliens and women into this one command we're actually going to have close to an equal number of aliens to humans and women to men. No wonder they went rogue smile

@ Des- No Mandos.
@ Cale- Agreed
@ Stellar- Probably. The fun part is convincing the Rebels we'r enot here to vape them.
