It doesn't matter what you see. I know i could never be Someone that looks like you. It doesn't matter what you say I know i could never face someone that could sound like you. Cadence Saline IvieCadence thought of what to say as he tied his shoe. "Well, I was born on a Friday the thirteenth." She started out, trying to come up with something else. "And my parents totally freaked, they are completely superstitous...And once my powers showed up, they completely freaked and didn't know what to do...I have a feeling they are a bit intimidated by me." She said honestly. Her parents hardly had anything to do with her anymore, like they were afraid she would hurt them or something. While she talked, she was leading the way off the grounds and out to the rocks that lined the stream in one spot. They were more like boulders, and perfect to sit on. "Well, anyways, as soon as they found out about this place, they shipped me off as soon as possible. Can't say that I'm not glad they did." . She finished as the rocks and stream came into view. She walked over to her favorite spot, a low lying rock that was close enough to the stream that she could reach her hand in, or dip her feet in the water if she wanted..

(( I disagree. Nothing profound is happening and the only people really engaged are a small handful. We've sort of hit a stalemate here.
Besides, Elaine is the creator. If she says it's time for a time skip, then it's time for a time skip. It will be her call whether it's needed or not. I could technically still RP during this day and go on and on about inane things, but it wouldn't really be adding to the plot or getting us anywhere. ))

(I agree, but...I just go with the flow....either way is fine with me....
and, oh, I think the creek spot would be best for the bad group to meet at, that way it is off school property, and away from things...where they are least likely to be found...)

Mitsukai (Angel) Kanji (( Uh, Time skip it is then. Sorry Devlin, I waited 2 ½ days. ))
“Mitsukai…” His voice echoed through the dark surroundings. “Where are you?” Mitsukai called out desperately. “I need you..” The voice echoed again. “Where are you?” Mitsukai cried again, tripping on some stump. “Helppp!” It echoed again. Mitsukai placed her hands on her throbbing head. “Where are you!” She screamed, trying to get up yet again. Although, she was failing epically on getting up. “HELPPPPP.” The voice was in pain, horrible pain. “Where are you!” Mitsukai repeated yet again, finally getting up. “Mitsukai, give up. You will fail. You always do.” A new mocking voice sounded; suddenly a gorgeous Asian stepped in front of her. “Give up.” She hissed, knocking Mitsukai down.
“Ahhhhh.” Mitsukai screamed, wakening up. She was panting and sweating. Mitsukai sat up and looked around her room. “Only a dream. Only a dream.” Mitsukai moaned and got up, slowly walking towards her laptop. She turned on the electronic and waited until it started up. She then opened her email, scanning for new messages.
“Parents day is today! Your parents should start gathering up in the cafeteria around 9am. Then, open house starts at 6pm, giving you plenty of times to tour your parents around the school. You should lead your parents to the Auditorium at 6pm. Thank you students.
Your Head Master, Elaine Nicole “********.” Mitsukai groaned and walked to her bathroom. In about 20 minutes, she was showered and fully dressed in a pair of white jeans, a black v-neck tee, a white Hollister hoodie, and some black Ugg boots. Mitsukai then began to straighten her hair. She opened Windows Media Player on her laptop and started playing ‘Disgusting’ by Ke$ha. Finally, when she was done with her hair she started doing her makeup, light and acceptable to her sister’s high standards. When she was done with her appearance, she trudged out the door in a very apathetic mood.
The past four days had been very depressing. First off, Cory had seemed to find his own group of friends. (Adam, Cadence, Archimedes, and a few others.) L didn’t even seem to hate Cory anymore, which was weird. These things would have been great on normal circumstances. But of course, this only seemed to piss Joseph off (who has been threatening Cory every second he could). There also was the fact that L and Nikky have seemed to be very moody around each other. They still were friends when Joseph wasn’t in the picture, but when he was…oh goodness. The thought of Mitsukai’s friends falling apart was horrible. Hopefully this all would blow over.
However, none of this topped the fact that he was gone. Thorne, gone disappeared; no one knew where he ran off to. It was heart breaking. Lorrie was gone too. It was as if he never existed. All proof had disappeared. Even his room had been cleared out. Mitsukai knew she had to figure out what had happened, but she had no leads. It was not as if it even mattered, she didn’t know him very long. Nevertheless, when you were Mitsukai, you had to find out. She always grew attached in a short period of time. Since she had absorbed all of his memories, she wanted him more than anything. She was in a wretched state. Every second she was thinking of him. It only made matters worse that his jacket was laying on her computer chair. It may have been her only proof that he actually existed and that she did not imagine all of the stupid memories attacking her mind. She just wanted to know where he was.
“Hey b***h.” Mitsukai turned to the nauseating voice from the perky Asian b***h that was standing right next to her. “Hey Hana.” Mitsukai said, forcing a fake smile. “Ew, what are you wearing? Those boots are disgusting. God, your helpless without me.” Mitsukai winced as Hana insulted her. “Hey Mom, ima go help Mitsukai pick out something that wasn’t from like a million years ago.” Hana announced. Mitsukai watched as her mother, all dressed out as usual, walked to her. “Okay, ima go head to the cafeteria. Be fast okay.” Mitsukai nodded and walked back towards her room wither her nauseating sister to ‘pick out some clothes that weren’t from centuries ago’.

Swear this one you'll save Better lock it, in your pocket Taking this one to the grave" L's golden eyes fluttered open, staring up at the bland ceiling of her room. She had had a fitful night and hadn't received any sleep. It was stupid, yes, but she kept thinking about Joseph. She had liked him for two years. But she hadn't shown it because she was so scared of being rejected. And he was such a great friend to her .. She had planned on telling him how she felt this year, but Nikky showed up. She couldn't believe it. Since when did one of her best friends like Joseph? All of the times L had mentioned him to her, Nikky hadn't said one thing. To make matters worse, Joseph seemed to like her back. It may just be his friendliness but .. L sat up and put her head between her hands. It wasn't fair! She had finally found someone like her, that she could be herself around. She wouldn't have to hide her powers. She could finally let herself love somebody .. she groaned into her palm and squeezed her eyes shut. It seems no one would ever love her except for her brother. She could never meet somebody and be happy, be in love, go through The ups and downs of a relationship. Just her and Adam. Tears dripped from her lashes as she let herself cry, lifting her knees up to her chest.
Twenty minutes later L stepped out of the shower, scrubbed clean of everything. The first ten minutes she had just sat in the shower sobbing hysterically, yelling angrily at herself and Joseph, knowing her voice was muted by the rushing water. The Steam had done her good and helped clear her head. She turned on her laptop and signed into her DeviantART, checking her e-mail as she waited for the page to load.
“Parents day is today! Your parents should start gathering up in the cafeteria around 9am. Then, open house starts at 6pm, giving you plenty of time to tour your parents around the school. You should lead your parents to the Auditorium at 6pm. Thank you students.

L's jaw dropped. s**t. She had forgotten all about parents day. Quickly the female ran to her closet and flicked on the light, dropping her warm towel. She slid into her favorite dress before examining it in her full length mirror, smoothing down the skirt as she did so. She then pulled boots on her feet, lacing them up quickly. Her mind was buzzing so she sprinted back to her laptop and turned on her speakers, If my Heart was a House by Owl city pounding into her mind. She took a deep breath to steady herself before putting on black diamond earrings and returning her snake bites to their rightful place in her lip.
L then turned and walked back into the bathroom, Grabbing the straightener. She lightly pressed the iron to her hair, straightening it enough to remove any frizz but light enough to keep the natural waves in her long black hair. She then applied black Eyeliner and grey eyeshadow to her eyes, only putting on a little mascara. She quickly applied lip gloss to her mouth, inhaling the sweet scent of coconuts.
With one final glance in the mirror, L grabbed her hat and strutted out of her bedroom to the cafeteria, determined to keep Joseph out of her mind. Damn. "If I show you then I know you Won't tell what I said Cause two can keep a secret If one of them is dead"

"To dream anything that you want to dream, that's the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do, that is the strength of the human will." ---------------------------- |Adam|Sire|Listing| [Changed Adam's picture. Didn't really like his old one. =/ Either way, he looks just the same, black hair and blue eyes.]
"If my heart was a house you'd be home .." Adam rolled over in his bed with a groan, looking around his room for the source of the blaring noise. "L?" No answer. "Riah?" HE sighed. She was either ignoring him, or wasn't home. Figures, she always leaves things on. He pulled himself out of bed and walked into her room, flicking her speakers off. There was a message open on the monitor screen, so he leaned over to see what it was.
“Parents day is today! Your parents should start gathering up in the cafeteria around 9am. Then, open house starts at 6pm, giving you plenty of time to tour your parents around the school. You should lead your parents to the Auditorium at 6pm. Thank you students.

"Oh crap!" He ran back to his room, pulling his shirt off along the way. He had forgotten all about parent's day. Today he had planned to hang out with Daina as much as he could. He really liked her. Unfortunately, his plans were canceled. He didn't' want Daina to meet his parents. They'd probably scare her off. Hell, Adam didn't' want to meet his parents. It surprised him that his sister had left already, but then again she could have just run off to hide.
He pulled a suit out of his closet and shrugged it on, adjusting the collar as he looked in the mirror. Always had to dress nice. In spite, he unbuttoned the jacket, exposing the black shirt underneath. He didn't mind suits all that much, at least he looked nice in them.
He went into the bathroom and picked up his phone, checking for any messages. He didn't have any, but it reminded him of Mer's number. He found the slip of paper and programmed it into his phone, knowing he'd call her up soon for some training.
To kill more time, he flicked through his contacts and found Daina's number. His fingers flashed along the keypad as he sent her a text. "Hey, excited about parents day?" He knew she was just as bummed as the rest of them. Seemed as though nobody at this school had good relations with dear old Mom and Dad. After hitting 'SEND' he pulled out a hairbrush and brushed his hair, fluffing it with his fingers as he did so. He then brushed his teeth and put on some black dress shoes.
His hope was not to let himself get angry, and to try and see Daina at least once that day. Adam kicked open the front door and strolled down the sidewalk towards the Cafeteria, each step feeling heavier and heavier.----------------------------

Michaela Ronalds
Mick sat in the rocking chair in the corner of her bedroom, staring off into her mind. She hadn't been social at all, having gone to her classes then hid back in her dorm room. she just didn't feel like talking to people. She wasn't used to it. She knew she had to make friends sometime though and remembered Adam's persistence at Nikky's birthday party. She couldn't hide forever, she might as well give herself up. Well actually, on the contrary she could hide forever. Just continually shaping into other animals. But that wouldn't be very fun. Besides, after awhile she picks up the animals habits, and that's be a little awkward if she ever wanted to return to society.
Today was Parent's Day. Everyone else at the academy were probably dreading today, but Mick actually didn't mind it. Her family was just as antisocial as she was. And they hadn't had a problem with her powers because of it. no one to embarrass them, no one to know. Plus, she was only a shape shifter. It's not like she could blow herself up like Thorne or Daina. I will follow you into the dark by Death Cab For Cutie began to play as her cell phone went off, and for awhile she just stared at the small shape on her dresser. Finally she lifted the silver object. "Mick." "Michaela!" "Mum?" "Where are you?" "I-I'm in my room." "Well I don't know where that is, and I'm stuck in this cafeteria with crowds of paranormals!" "I'll be there soon Mum."
She clicked the phone off before her mother could freak out any further. she slipped a coat over her T-shirt and black skinny jeans. she didn't even bother to brush her hair as she slipped out of her room, her teeth already brushed.
Students were crowding everywhere, so Mick quickly changed into the reincarnation of her dog, Mickey. The small German Schnauzer quickly pinpointed her mum's location and the tiny legs bounded in that direction, yapping excitedly the whole way. Her Mother turned around at the noise and extended her arms to lift up the small dog, kissing it on the head.
What a normal family.

Joseph Douglas Jones Your superkalafragelisticexpialadociously cute Sweeter than a 12 pack of juicy fruit Surreal, but I know this isn't a dream We go good together just like coffee and cream ((Whoa, Adam’s new picture is hottt! && wow Steph, your writing has improved so much since I first started roleplaying with you, freak it’s just improved a lot since we’ve started this rp. You barely have short post (because they’re lengthy and detailed) and I love your writing. So yay, Kudos(: ))
Joseph awoke by the blaring of his alarm clock. “I’m up, I’m up.” He groaned and crawled on the bed, sitting in the floor for a few moments until he woke up. “Okay it’s morning. It’s morning, wake up.” Joseph muttered and trudged to the bathroom. Of course, the only thing he noticed was that he was out of his body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Mitsukai typically took that upon herself to replace it, but she must have forgotten. She had been forgetting a lot of things lately. “Never mind…” Joe growled, looking at the shower angrily. He walked back to his room, tripping on some random clothing on the floor. His face hit down on the ground. “Owwww!” He whined, holding his hand to his nose until the throbbing died down.
This was not his ********” Joseph whined and leaned his head back against the bed. He then managed to get up and walk to his closet. He looked through the clothes. Nevertheless, his closet was bare. “What the?” He looked out around his room and figured out the culprit. “Are you kidding me?” Joseph yelled at the miscellaneous clothes strewn across his room. When you are too busy making sure Mitsukai didn’t run off into any more trouble, you didn’t think about things like laundry or shampoo.
Instead, you think about things dealing with her. For instance, why was she going into intense depression and why she was backing out of friend activities and just, acting not like herself? Instead she was acting like the young 14 year old that walked into Genius about 3 ½ years ago. The quite and unsure girl that was seriously depressed and over thought her every move. Mitsukai had developed into some beautiful, full of life, confident, outgoing, miracle worker. She never gave up and tried everything. For the past four days, she had not been that. She was scared, quite, and unsure. This was the first night in his own room since Mitsukai got back from what ever she was doing four nights ago (He had slept in her room protecting her until last night) and he was already stressing himself out. Today though, he would do his laundry and he would buy shampoo and Mitsukai some chocolate. Chocolate cheered girls up, right. It was something that triggered positive hormones. He was right, wasn’t he? Why was she acting so….BLAHHH?
Joseph decided that worrying over it was not something good to do. So instead, he walked around his room and found a suitable pair of distressed Hollister jeans, a red plaid flannel shirt, and a white tee shirt that didn’t smell bad and slipped them on. They had plenty of wrinkles and such. However, he was a guy any ways, therefore he was allowed to wear wrinkles clothes! Joseph then grabbed a pair of black slip on toms and actual pair of clean white socks and slipped them on. He then rushed around his room, grabbed all his dirty clothes, and threw them in his hamper on his way out.

A composer but never composed Singing the symphonies of the overdosed A composer but never composed 'Singing': "I only want what I can't have" "I only want what I can't have Daina Nova AndersonDaina awoke to the buzzing of an alarm clock. Upon remembering what day it was, she groaned. "Ugh, parents day.." It was the one day in the whole year that she truly dreaded, above all else. She nearly knocked the alarm clock off her nightstand trying to turn off its annoying tone. Lazily she drug herself out of bed and to her closet. Coordinating an outfit took near no time. She dressed up out of her norm for her parents, even though she despised the day, she tried to be courteous to them. Although, she wondered if it really mattered. She didn't think she could do anything to upset them. Daina ended up taking a quick shower, then got dressed. As she went to her dresser, she saw that she had a text message. It was from Adam. 'What do you think? : P ' She sent in return. She hurried and dried her hair and pulled it up in a ponytail then did her makeup. Out of habit, she stuck her phone in her pocket instead of her purse, and grabbed an out of place black zip up hoodie, and headed out the door towards the cafeteria. She took as long as possible walking through the halls. Once she got there, out of habit, she looked for friends she knew, instead of family. Her mother and father managed to get her attention first anyways. She walked slowly up to them, while they hurried up to her. She just stood there as they ambushed her with hugs, getting squished. Of course, it didn't hurt, not really, it was just way uncomfortable. She managed to catch a glimpse of Adam, then blushed, hoping he wouldn't see her squished between her over enthusiastic parents.
'Heralded as a king before I had a birthday With double [double] digits [digits] Fit the crown to my head but I was only a kid' yeah was only a kid, yeah was only a kid 'I'm just the man on the balcony singing': "Nobody will ever remember me,"

Cory Mitchell James I’m not broke; I’m just a broken hearted man I know it makes no sense, but what can I do? How will I move on when I’m still in love with you?
Cory walked into the cafeteria that was completely crammed with people He couldn’t help the overgrowing smile on his face when his little sister came running up to him and jumped into his arms. Cory twirled around, hugging her tightly. “Hello beautiful.” Cory whispered in her ear and kissed her forehead. She was gleaming. “I lost a tooth Cory! Isn’t that cool? I even got money from the tooth fairy.” She jabbered on. While she did that, Cory took her hand and led her towards his mother who was sitting at one of the tables.
“Hey Handsome, how you liking school? You FINALLY get to be with Mitsukai.” Cory looked down as his face flushed. “Yea Mom, it’s great.” Cory fibbed. It was mostly for her benefit. He didn’t want his mother thinking he wasn’t super duper happy. “Mitsukai’s here? Ohhh, where’s Mitsukai!” Leslie demanded. Of course, she’d want to know where Mitsukai was. She loved her. “Well, she’s right there Hunny.” Cory’s Mother pointed towards the door, where he saw her coming in. She looked pale and fragile. As predicated on Parent’s Day, she was following behind her sister. God, he hated her sister. She was rude and annoying. Not to mention the fact that she practically controlled Mitsukai. Cory took the time to take in Mitsukai. She looked pitiful, but she was still beautiful in every way.
“Angel!” Leslie yelled and started running towards Mitsukai, who seemed to wince at the nickname. Mitsukai looked over at Lesley and smiled at the 7 year old. Cory’s breath caught when she smiled. Leslie grabbed Mitsukai and Hana’s hands and nodded for their mother to follow behind. Mitsukai sat down at the table, avoiding Cory’s gaze. Instead, she looked down. She also was clinging to the leather jacket she was wearing as if it held her life. Cory looked her over. She was wearing knee high leather boots – faux leather knowing her – and a leather jacket that looked completely real. It was not like her to wear things like that, so maybe it wasn’t hers. She also was wearing white skinny jeans (tucked into her boots of course) and a white v-neck. From the smirk on Hana’s face, it was obvious that she dressed her. God, Cory hated that girl.
“Mitsukai, you’re supposed to sit by Cory. When people love each other they sit by each other and hold hands and cuddle!” Cory glared at Leslie who didn’t know how to shut up. Mitsukai opened her mouth to protest, but Leslie demanded that she did it now. Which lead Mitsukai to get up and sit next to Cory. That wasn’t enough for Leslie although. Who made Mitsukai scoot closer to Cory, took both of their hands, and forcefully in-twinned their fingers. “There.” She exclaimed and sat across from them. Cory traced the lines on Mitsukai’s hand and enjoyed the amazing, yet fleeting, moments of her touch. Why did she look so miserable? He needed to help her, to fix her. Nevertheless, that wasn’t his place. She said herself that she would not allow him in her life anymore and she meant it.
Goodness, he could just kill Leslie sometimes.

Is there somebody who still believes in love? I know you’re out there There’s got to be somebody I search around the world But I can’t seem to find Somebody to love Nikky Celeste DarlingThe past few days, to Nikky, seemed like forever. First, Mitsukai seemed more distant than her usual happy, upbeat self. The fact that Thorne left so abruptly probably had something to do with it. Second, it seemed as if her and L were vying for Joe's attention. Nikky was a bit uncomfortable about it. She didn't like fighting anyone, for any reason. And, she knew that if she were up against L, L would certainly win. All it would take would be one well placed glance. However, despite circumstances, She was going to uphold her promise to Joe, that if he wanted to get away today, parents day, she'd be more than willing to go with him and keep him company. With the same upbeat additude, she pulled herself out of bed and got herself ready for the day. She had taken a shower the night before, so that was out of the way. She turned her radio on and listened to the music, rummaging through her clothes. She finally found an outfit. Not too dressy, not too causal, in her opinion. Once getting herself dressed, she headed to the bathroom, putting on her makeup (eyeliner and eyeshadow and lipgloss only), and pulling half her hair back. leaving the rest down. When she was done, she grabbed her phone, purse, and ipod and took off towards the cafeteria. It wasn't long before she was ambushed by her parents. Now, her parents had freaked about her powers at first, but soon after coming to Genius Academy, accepted that it was part of who she was, and she was same old Nikky. Boy, did they have news for her today, very suprising news indeed. "Mom, you're pregnant?!" .

Joseph Douglas Jones Your superkalafragelisticexpialadociously cute Sweeter than a 12 pack of juicy fruit Surreal, but I know this isn't a dream We go good together just like coffee and cream Joseph was still quibbling about his list of chores he had to complete today. He walked into the crowded cafeteria. Wait, the cafeteria was crowded, at this time in the morning? Joseph pulled his phone out of his pocket and checked the time. 8:00! He was late! Joseph forced the phone in his pocket and rushed to the line.
Wait…. why was the cafeteria crowded at 8:00 when students are supposed to be in class?
Joseph looked up and scanned the faces of the people. Not students, people. Completely normal people with no weird powers. People that were 10 and below. People who were 30 and above. Joseph felt his throat tighten and he couldn’t breathe.
It was parent’s day.
There were sisters. There were sisters that were fully breathing, laughing, jumping. There were smiling sisters.
Unlike his sister.
There were Mothers. There were Mothers that were embracing their Sons and holding their daughter’s hand. There were very pleased Mothers. There were Mothers that loved their sons. Mothers that were proud of their sons.
Unlike his Mother.
Joseph could not breathe. His heart was pounding in his ears. ‘Murder. Murder! You could have had this. Had this! But no, murder.’ Joseph needed to get out. He needed to leave.
Sisters. Mothers. Sisters. Mothers. Too many god-forsaken women!
Joseph slowly – oh so slowly – walked towards the door. “One step, two step, three step, four. You’re almost home Joe. Just a little further. See, you can do this. Seven step, eight step, nine step, ten step! See Joseph, just a little further and you’ll be out.’ Joseph was smiling in glee. Sure, he was going insane but he would be out of this place in just a little. ‘Just open the door, yepp, that’s how, pull!’ The sunlight was hitting his face and he’d be out. Out! Out of this stupid cafeteria full of two many women and sons and daughter and dad’s. Too many sisters and brothers! Too much family. Oh, he hated Parents day.
“Joseph.”
Joseph recognized that voice. The voice had invaded his nightmares. The voice he’d never forgive himself for.
“Joseph please. I want my son back!”
However, Joseph had no family. Not anymore. Not since he stole that beautiful blonde-haired girl’s life. Not since he drowned that innocent little girl. Drowning was one of the most painful forms of death.
“It wasn’t your fault.”
Nevertheless, it was his fault. She did not understand. He was not in control. He had gotten mad because…. Wait, why did he get mad? He murdered his sister and he couldn’t even remember why. All he remembered was that he killed her. He watched the air being chocked from her as the water filled her lungs. Watched as she twisted and thrust her fragile body parts in pain. Then she went numb. She stopped moving. The whole time Joseph watched. He didn’t even stop. He could have stopped it, couldn’t he? He was a sick twisted man. A sick and very twisted man. Didn’t they have the death penalty for murders?
“Angel!” A little girl screamed. The little girl was about the age of Joseph’s sister when he murdered her. He looked over at her. She looked nothing like her. She had long brown wavy hair. She was missing her front teeth. This little girl was running straight for Mitsukai, who picked her up and twirled her in the air. Mitsukai was only doing that to make the girl happy. Mitsukai looked so tiny and fragile.
Fragile, like the sister he killed.
Maybe he’d lose it and kill Mitsukai too. His only family now. She was his air. She was his sun. His sister, his everything. He would lose it wouldn’t he? Ha, she was already dead inside. He could not protect her. She was gone, very gone. Hurt inside. She was ripped apart. He couldn’t save her, he didn’t have the ability to. Just like he couldn’t save his sister, his wonderful sister.
“Joseph, please. At least can we talk?”
Joseph looked down at the matter at hand. Ha, he was taller than he remembered. His throat tightened. “How did you find me?” Joseph mumbled. It came out a scratched up high-pitched cry. His voice broke during the half of it. He probably looked like a pathetic monster to her.
It was as if she could read his mind. She took a step towards him and touched his check with her palm. “My son, my beautiful son.” She said with tears in her eyes. He wasn’t beautiful, he was a monster.
Why’d he have to wake up today?
