Abel looked up. "...I didn't mean to upset you, Sue. But truthfully? You don't need to worry about most people. Your friends here... they don't think that way. It's just some of the common citizenry... they were just raised to believe it. And... gah... I can't understand the way your father thinks, I never could! But he's obviously got some sort of plan, to be moving around, doing so much." He grinned. "Besides... he told me once. Even though he has to leave the ones he loves behind sometimes, his home is with them... not the land that they're in."

"So what's between us.. all of us...even the Laguz and Manakete is real." Sue seemed to be relieved of that, choosing to believe him for now instead of giving into despair. Had she been the type to break down, she would have never saved Rath back at Halloween. She was strong, and her friends helped her. Now was no different, neither was December. "Thanks for everything, Abel. I'll get stronger... so we'll meet again one day. That's the words of a Sacaen, who can never lie."
She smirked. It suited her... the young girl had a face meant to smile.

Abel's grin turned into a bright smile, something he had not done in a while. "I'm glad to hear it! You should continue to rest though.... Maybe I should, too. I just... thought she might be here..." Abel turned away from Sue and looked to the door. He then looked down, and saw Alihi sleeping against the wall with Amara in her lap. "....Ah, she is here... Alihi!" He called out.

"That sounds... like a good idea." Sue muttered, halfway walking outside, to where her steed was. She felt most comfortable sleeping against him, feeling Andre's warmth as she slipped into her dreams.
This time, when she drifted into the sweet images of her subconscious, she remembered when she first met her horse. What a shy little colt he was... just like her being a shy girl back then. They were made for each other... trembling, but bonding as soon as she touched his nose.

Melethia entered the house after she let out some steam after getting the other half of her power. She was back to her normal self. She said nothing as she went to to kitchen and got some food.

Alihi was awake almost the instant her name was called. "Mhn... Yes?" She rubbed her eyes, moving the child off of her so she could actually stand up. She blinked a bit, eyes readjusting to the light.
Her face broke out to a grin when she actually realized who had said her name. "Abel! Y-you're... I can't believe... I thought..." She slapped her forehead. "Yeah... Not really getting my thoughts out..." She laughed softly and approached him. "... I'm glad you're back."

Abel grinned. "It was thanks to you... you were great. I'm sorry for putting you through so much. But thank you.. for believing in me." He looked away, awkwardly, and chuckled nervously. "Uh.. hey, uh.. "He quickly changed the subject, before Alihi could react. Seeing a little girl whom he had never seen before, he grew a goofy confused look. "..Uh, Hey there! Who's this?" He said looking at Amara.

Alihi shrugged. "Eh, it wasn't your fault, really..." She smiled lightly and was about to respond to Abel's comment when he pointed out Amara. "Oh! That's, uhm..." She scratched the back of her head nervously, looking to the side. "... My daughter, Amara Kaua-Aelfgar."

Abel gave a big smile, as if not really heading what she had said. "Oh, that's nice...... ..... ........ WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!"
He jumped out of his bed, so high that some might have said that he had hit the ceiling, instead of hitting his head against the wall behind him, which is what he really did. Hard. "owowowowowowowow... owow... ow..." He put his head between his legs and his hands behind his head.

Alihi winced. "Abel... Let's not overreact now..." She gently (and sympathetically) patted his shoulder. "Sheesh, don't go and get yourself hurt already! You just woke up!" She teased softly, her hand now resting on his shoulder.
... Is it really that surprising? She thought, her eyes drifting over to the child who was somehow still asleep. Sure, it's not like she's the exact image of me, but...

"owow... d-daughter... Alihi!? owowowowow.... h-how can you- owowow..." Abel paused and looked up at Amara, who cheerfully smiled back at him. "... eeeuuuuuuhhh~" Fainted. Yep.. he was back to normal, all right.
For better and worse.

Alihi sighed and shook her head. "I swear I told you about it, though..." She muttered even though he had fainted. She couldn't help but smile though. If she had any doubts about Abel being back to his old self, then they were definitely erased now. She carefully rested his head gently on the pillow again, retucking him in.
Amara blinked. "Mommy? Is that Abel?" Alihi nodded. "Then why did he freak out like that?"
The tactician chuckled, ruffling her daughter's hair. "That's just the way he is sometimes... it's really nothing to worry about." She sat on the edge of the bed, smiling down at her daughter. ... Though I will have to explain this to him when he wakes up again...

Suisho Tomoe She knew Siegell was right, but she still couldn't help blaming herself. She was the older sister; she was supposed to take care of her little brother. That's what big sisters do. And hadn't someone told her to look after Nils before?. . .If Daddy's not back by then, take your brother and go to the other side. You're a clever girl. You know the way right?
Daddy . . . Don't go. . . .
Daddy. . . .She placed a hand on her forehead. What was this memory?
A hand reached up, wiping away her tears. "I... think perhaps I should rest, yes... do you mind accompanying me?" Siegell asked.
"N-no, of course not," she stammered, forcing herself back into the present. Minding his wounds, she helped him upstairs, needing a rest of her own. Siegell smiled as the two of them stepped into a room, and closed the door slowly while he removed the armor and chain mail over his undershirt and pants. "Ahhh," he sighed, sitting on the bed and removing his socks. "Ahh... Do you mind just... sitting with me a while? 'Till I fall asleep?" He contrived to make himself look more tired than he was. He'd see if he could outlast her. It would be fun to see the look on Amelia's face if she saw that they had shared a room! Hoho, yes.

They entered one of the many empty rooms, Siegell shutting the door before removing his chain mail and armor. He sat on the bed with a relieved sigh.
"Ahh... Do you mind just... sitting with me a while? 'Till I fall asleep?" he asked.
He did look tired; she was worn out herself, still stiff and sore for the battle, despite the elixir. But what about Nils?
"I . . . I think I should go make sure Nils is alright. . . ." she said, glancing back at the closed door.
She almost regretted not staying by her brother's side, but it was partially her fault that Siegell had been hurt, after all. But shouldn't she stay with Siegell because it was her fault?
She looked from Siegell to the door and back, torn.
