Damn! He missed! Chef grabbed at empty air, then blinked in surprise. Did he just... try to hit him? He stared down at the audio. Yep. He was. The large audio stepped back and brought his hands forward and began blocking the other, a growl rising in his throat. Behind him, his tail swished back and forth -- finally! An honest to goodness chance at combat! He was going to enjoy this.



Beneath the desk, Zephiroth continued to sneeze. Ugh! This stupid pine -- he ought to BUTNITWITHFIRE! But... then he'd be trapped... and that wouldn't be very nice. He sneezed again, taking comfort in the fact that only one other audio knew of his weakness to pine. Chris better use a savepoint if he intends to tell anyone else, because hell hath no fury like the one-winged angel scorned!

...Weird. That voice didn't sound like that Audio who had strung him up like this. What the hell was going on? His struggles ceasing for the moment, Demy looked around to find the source of the voice.

Well, at least for now Chris was way too concerned about his hair to even think about telling anyone else about Zeph's little secret. HOWEVER...eventually he'd get back to thinking about it, and...well he was a bit of a sadist. Heh heh heh...

Wandering on, Chris peeked carefully around each new corner before walking down it. He wanted to do everything in his power to avoid -anyone- else seeing him in this state. He wasn't about to come out of those shadows unless it was Chef himself that he saw.

Chef continued to move his arms and block the audio, then struck out. He used the palm of his hand to half-punch, half-push the audio off of him, then followed with a left hook. "Yo, siddown!"

DUH he was ready to get out of here! Nodding his head quickly, Demy resumed his squirming. He had to get the hell out of here before that crazy Chef came back!



Chris wandered on, eventually hearing the sounds coming from the scuffle. Ears perked, he peeked around a final corner and found just who he was looking for! ...Yeah he looked a little busy, but this was an emergency!
"..Chef?..."
Chris' voice was a hell of a lot softer than it usually was, but quite frankly he was doing his best not to just burst out into sobs about his hair.

*cough* You do realize that Demy's tied to the tree... with Christmas lights, yes? 8D Might wanna be careful about cutting, lol.


Chef took a step forward, as if to land another blow, but stopped. He froze, as if lightning struck him. He moved again, stepping carefully over the other audio and then deliberately onto his phone. Hey, can't be too sure can we? Pleased, he turned and was about to berate buckle-boy further but stopped, closing his jaw with a snap. "Daaaaamn Chrissy-boy! What the hell happened to you?"

Puzzled, the little intern wandered back in, scratching at his ear. He froze in the doorway, seeing Marcus standing over his charge. Scott's eyes clouded over, his timidity set aside as his meal was endangered once more. The audio let out a tiny growl and attempted to launch himself at Marcus. His hasty plan might've worked except that the clumsy little audio tripped midway to his target and went tumbling into him instead.

Spence shook off the blow, blinking until the stars left his eyes. The waiter slowly stood up, glaring at his opponent's back. Snarling, he charged at the distracted Chef once more.

"Something SHARP? Are you nuts! You cut these and I'm getting fried!" Ugh..he had to be rescued by someone like this... "Just untie them man! They've gotta be knotted up or something..." And...then the intern tumbled into his would-be rescuer, and Demy let out an exasperated sigh.


Chris' eyes grew wide and...were they wet? Was he actually tearing up over this? "Dude it was terrible! There's all this gunk in my hair and...and..." At this he tugged, showing just how firmly his paws were latched in the goop-mess that was his hair. "My paws are STUCK and...my HAIR man!" The little host -wailed- at this. He really was distraught.

Chef took a step towards Chris, intending to get a closer look at his hair. "C'mon man, it can't be that bad," he said softly, trying to be reasonable. "Come here and let me s- will you knock it off?!" This last bit was directed at Spence, at whom which he stuck out his hand to stop him. Man! This place was worse than Wawanakwa when it was filled with campers!
